It had average placements in 2016. It has good infrastructure and facilities and poor management.
Placements: Placement prospects are very poor in our college, and only regional companies visit our college for campus placements. Whatever type of placements conducted either pool campus placements or on-campus placements, it solely depends on students merit. The placement criteria usually include 60% aggregate in SSC, 60% in HSC and 60% in graduation. A very few students meet those criteria, which make the placement prospects even worse. From the batch of 2016, about 20% of the students got placed through on-campus, pool campus and referral placements. Salary packages offered were pretty standard. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Cybage Software Pvt Ltd, Bitwise Solutions, Dhandhania Infotech, Global Logic Soft Inc, Smart Data Enterprises, Amazon (offers technical support roles), etc. About 5% of the students or less students got internships with a minimal stipend or without stipend. Most of the students didn't get placed in any of the drives and had to attend pool campus placements conducted later that year. Top roles offered were backend developer, front-end developer, tester, technical support, etc. One good aspect here is the pre-placement drive conducted in in-house called Manthan, which is a 5-days drive which prepares students for actual drives. Aptitude training, group discussions and mock interviews are conducted, and also grooming experts are invited for lectures and training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is up to the mark here, and Wi-Fi enabled labs and classrooms are provided. The hostel facility is poor with minimal maintenance. Students who stay in hostels have complaints and gave bad reviews about the rooms allotted to them and also about the food served. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is average. However, the bus facility is good.
Faculty: Some faculty members here are good at what they do, but some aren't good. Faculty members need to improve their teaching strategies. However, overall in-house teaching faculty members are qualified, hard-working, knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality is just above average. The course curriculum is relevant and is according to RTMNU, but it needs improvement.
