The college is good and supportive.
Placements: I belong to the 2024-25 batch. Currently, I am doing my BE at Sahyadri College. I don't have any idea about the percentage of students who get placed in my branch. In this college, the highest package is 43 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. BLEC Co Ltd, Microsoft, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. This year, 100% of internships are provided in top companies.
Infrastructure: I did not opt for the hostel, so I do know about the hostel facilities. The food quality in the canteen is good but according to me it can still be better and versatility is needed. Sahyadri College encourages sports a lot. It has a different section for sports and games. It conducts many sports events as well.
Faculty: Overall, the teaching is of good quality and the course curriculum is also well-structured. Teachers are good and helpful as well. They are friendly and ready to guide us when we approach any of them. Even the exams are conducted in a good manner and the rules regarding the curriculum are strict. I have no complaints regarding this area.
Other: Overall, this college is good but more encouragement is required for the extracurricular activities. They do support sports and games but when it comes to cultural activities it seems to be less. As a student of this college, I would like to have more cultural events, fests, and even more technical fests. We need more support to participate in the other events happening outside the campus.

Our college is good and perfect selection for upcoming students to study.
Placements: In our college, 80% of students were placed, and I also got placed in a reputed company. The highest package was 40 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Infosys, Tata Electronics, Bosch, Coca-Cola, etc., visited. In our course, more students got selected for internships with KIOCL and Lamina Foundries. The top roles offered to us were in the production and manufacturing departments.
Infrastructure: In our college, all things were available, such as the library, Wi-Fi, and canteen facility with good food. Extra classes for students to score high marks in the exams, good hostel facilities, and a good parking area on the campus. Extracurricular activities were also there in our college.
Faculty: Teachers were more helpful, and they were always encouraging us to score good marks in exams. The teaching quality was also good. The semester exams were good for me, and I scored good marks in all of the exams. This course curriculum was most relevant to me, and it made students industry-ready for sure.

Summary of my college.
Placements: So I took computer science and engineering in data science. Our batch size was very small, and there were 34 students in our batch. In the entire college, our batch size was very small. In our college, 250+ companies came for the placements, including the Japanese companies also. And mostly the companies were from Bangalore only. And the highest package that was offered this time was 44 lacs, which was by a Japanese company.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi of our college is not so good, but the internet connections through the LAN are good; its more than 300 mbps, but the Wi-Fi is too bad. Many of the time it is 2 or 3 mbps speed, not more than that. If you check in your phones, its like 100 or 200 kbps only. The departments, mess, and hostels are good.
Faculty: It is very simple to pass the exam; anyone who studies for one or two nights before can do so. The course curriculum is good as it was entirely for the specific to our branch only. The problem is that the faculty members are too few in our college.
Other: I chose this course because its the trending job right now, and the thing is that if you know how to manipulate the data or if you are able to analyze the data, then you can extract the information out of it. Talking about the event and the festival. Many events have taken place at our college, but there is no festival like the one in the north.

College excel with good placements, modern infrastructure a vast library and a supportive skill lab.
Placements: Approximately 70% to 90% of students secure placements annually, depending on the course and academic performance. College's role in placements: Internship Opportunities: The Placement Department actively facilitates internships, though specific percentages and company details vary by course. The department also offers continual assessment through an Aptitude Lab to enhance student readiness. The highest package is 43.3 LPA. The average package is 3-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The library boasts a collection of over 45,000 volumes and 8,000 titles, along with access to more than 13,000 e-journals and e-books. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, providing internet access to students and faculty members. Hostel facilities are as follows: study tables with chairs, cupboards, 24/7 power backup, hot water provisions, and a gym.
Faculty: Each academic year is divided into two semesters, with end-semester examinations. In addition to these, internal assessments, assignments, and practical exams are integral components of the evaluation process. Lecturers are student-friendly. Each department within the college is led by a Head of Department (HOD) who ensures the effective delivery of the curriculum and oversees departmental activities.
Other: Events held in the college include: Synergia, which is SCEM's flagship national festival dedicated to innovation and technology. SSTH is an annual event aimed at encouraging high school and pre-university students to develop solutions for pressing social issues.

A good environment for education in center of nature,Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package was 43.43 LPA for the CSE branch in Belc. The average salary package is 3.5 to 4 LPA for all branches. The lowest salary package was 3 LPA overall. Top recruiters include Japanese companies, Karmic Design, Infosys, Rinex Technology, and many more. Around 250+ companies visited and offered 480 offer letters in the last campus drive.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The hostel is within the campus. It is affordable, clean, well-maintained, and semi-furnished. A dedicated study space is available on each floor. The food has nutritional value, and the quality is very good. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, hot water purifiers, an outdoor gym, an indoor gym, a cricket ground, a football court, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and clear each and every doubt of the students. Our college is autonomous and comes under VTU Belagavi. About 80% of the syllabus is fixed by VTU, and the remaining 20% is a flexible syllabus set according to industry requirements. There will be three internal assessments and one final semester exam. The passing percentage is 40%.

The short life at Sahyadri is full of life lessons.
Placements: Nearly 60 percent of students will get placed here every here. Here the highest package is 43LPA and the lowest is 2.8 LPA where as average will be 4LPA. Top companies are Infosys, MRI, Cognizant, Galaxy SafeSend etc. Many of the students in final year get the internship in some of the college start ups like megamind, TCE etc. And some the companies nearby like Novigo Solutions. Top roles are Data analyst and web developed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi nearly very difficult to get in ground and 1st floor labs are enough but sometimes you may get the shortage of the classrooms and library we have one digital and the other normal one. Hostel we will get different sharing with or without attached washrooms with this warden in girls hostel is very crack head and boys hostel is good and the in time for girls is 6:30om and for boys it is 7:30pm. Canteen and mess is both the same and the food is not good in terms of taste and the options of food is also very less but quality is some what good whereas to talk about sports if you are some one who want to excel in the field of sports then this is not the college for you.
Faculty: Teachers are not too good at teaching they just read from the PPT and you will a have to do a lot of self study in terms of having a good package. Teaching quality is not too appreciated but some are really good and lot of partiality is also there when we talk about. The course curriculum changes depending on the industry standards and because of this the teachers are not too aware of what they are teaching. Semester exams can be passed by going through the model papers and internal papers and the pass percentage is nearly 85.
Other: I had passion towards coding so I chose IT field rather than this I got into this college by a government seat because of the placements track I chose this college. They need to give the faculty members training related to the subject they are teaching because they are not really aware of it. Events are nearly to non but technical events will be there like SIH, Synergia these some of the national level teach fest but non technical there are only few and those are also not too grand enough.
