    Review of the Presidency University.
Placements: The total number of students placed in our course is nearly 90%. The highest package was about 13 LPA, the lowest package was around 3.25 LPA and average package was around 4.5 LPA. The top recruiters are IBM, TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, Dell, First American, etc. There is an international affairs section in our college where they provide internships for students abroad. Some of the students have already gotten internships in Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, USA and many other countries as well. In the placements, there are top roles such as technical roles and sales roles. In addition, there are also roles like development, analyst, sales manager, junior developer, consultant, etc., and many more. There were many roles offered to computer science and engineering students because they have knowledge of a wide variety of technologies and special demand for these technologies is offered by various companies. The placements are not pretty good in our college but there is a system of recruiting students in an organized manner.
Infrastructure: My college has good interaction facilities and also contains many other facilities that enhance the learning abilities of the students. The college has a good Wi-Fi connection all over the campus, so every student can make use of it everywhere. The computer labs are very clean and hygienic and do not affect any external factors that will affect the student. A student can peacefully attend all the lectures in the computer labs. There are a few computers that are not upgraded but students will manage them according to their needs. There is a sports section in our college where sports like cricket, football, and volleyball are encouraged and all the sports have particular instructors who provide all the equipment for the sports. The college has very overpopulated students, and some of them might not get the equipment to play. Our college also has a convention library and collection of books available for the students to develop their skills and students also take good advantage of all the books and develop their personalities. There are many books and journals that also give information about the current affairs happening around us. The books also include many technological studies where students can sit very peacefully and enjoy their books. Our hostel also contains many facilities, like a variety of foods weekly; on some days, they will give protein-rich foods; and they take care of each and every student in the hostel. There is 24*7 availability of hot water and could water as well; the electricity has no issues in the hostel. The canteen food is also very healthy and hygiene is taken care of by doing things on time.
Faculty: I can say teachers do not have that much experience when it come to applications of technological things. But they can cover all the theoretical portions very decently within a given period of time, which is 4 months. The semester contains 4 months, during which all the students need to get covered with their topics and doubts regarding the course. The teachers complete all their curriculum requirements within this period of time and overall teaching qualities are good but not best. Some of the courses makes students industrially ready. Due to the availability of a huge number of courses, we cannot say what is important for the industry and what is not but our college provides all the courses and makes us develop our minds so that we can solve all the challenges coming in the industry. The difficulty of the semester exams is not too tough but every student can pass by reading one day before the exam. For clearing a particular course, there is a 200-point scale. The exams are conducted in midterms and endterms. The mid term will be of 50 marks and the end term will be 100 marks 50 marks is awarded for the continuous assessment held in the classes. There are a total of 200 marks for each course and the student has to get at least 40% of those marks to qualify for that particular course. There is a breakdown of marks where the student has to secure at least 80 marks by combining midterm, term, and continuous assessment marks.
Other: I have chosen computer science and engineering because my cutoff rank was clearing the presidency's required cutoff marks. I got nearly 23000 in the KCET entrance exam. I cannot say what the exact improvement is that needed to be included in the computer science engineering course, but I can say that the working hours or concentration period of the student should be reduced because this course contains many problematic and analytical skills required at each stage of solving problems. There are various events held at our college on a monthly basis. At hackathons, startup events, and many other competitions, students can take part actively. The campus contains around 15000 students as a strength. I think it is much more overpopulated when it comes to surroundings. I think my college has the highest number of students in the whole state. There is a cultural event held every year where celebrities come and join and make our day special.

The college life at Presidency University.
Placements: There are decent number of students who got placed in various companies in our college; a total of 90% of the students got placed. The Computer Science and engineering program at this college is vast and offers various courses helpful for placement. This course also includes application of various technologies in the field of Computer Science and engineering. The highest salary offered in our college was around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. The average package offered in the course is around 6 LPA. There are many companies which have been visited in our college during the placement period like IBM, TCS, Deloitte, Dell, Accenture, WeWork, Intellipat, Career360, SkillVertex, First American, etc. There is an international affairs section in our college that offers internships in foreign countries. There were around 120+ students who got the internship and in the outer countries, they got a stipend. There were some technical roles and also sales-associated companies that were approached during the placement process, such as software development, analyst, consultant, architecture design, backend development, full-stack development, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities available for my course department are very well organized, and there is good strength in the Wi-Fi network all over the college. Computer labs are situated on each floor of the building. The labs are well cleaned and hygienic, so students will not have any health issues even after spending a lot of time there. The library has a vast collection of books that help enhance the personality development skills of students in particular fields. There are also books, including Current Affairs, journals and some course-related books, which are very helpful for the student. The hostel was well-equipped with space for beds; electricity was available all time and hot and cold water were maintained frequently. There was a different food every week, and there were also various kinds of dishes available for the students in the hostel. The hostel felt it was around 1.6 lacs per year. The fees can be paid on the installments method; they will give us a particular period where we have to fully pay all the fees with the hostel management.
Faculty: Teachers are experts in theoretical fields, but they also have decent knowledge in application fields. They can easily narrate all the concepts, which is very easy for the students to understand and they also have a good amount of time to cover all the topics in a given period of time. They never lack a syllabus and try to complete all the necessary topics available for the examinations. The lecturers salaries ranged from 3.5 to 6 LPAs. The teaching quality of all the lecturers was pretty good and understandable. The computer science engineering course curriculum is so helpful for getting placed in various companies so the students can be industry-ready, develop some skills and grow their abilities. The personality development will be evident when students choose the computer science and engineering course. The semester exams are not too hard or easy but they are based on application-based questions. The criteria for clearing the exam are complex. There are two types of exams: internal exams, which comprise midterm and end-term exams. The maximum mark for the midterm is 50, and the maximum mark for the end of the term is 100. And 50 for continuous assessment. There are a total of 200 marks for a particular course. We have to score more than 80 marks to clear that particular course and we have to score at least 40% of the 200 marks to pass that subject.
Other: I chose the computer science engineering course because I have cleared the cut-off marks for the Presidency University KCET entrance exam. This course offers various industry-ready aspects and also growth in the future for a particular student, making them brighter in their communities. The timing of the course has to be reduced as it affects the mental health of the students. The logical reasoning skills are required more in this course so the student should get enough sleep during the course. There are various events held in the college and more hackathons were organised by the DSA community, where all the students can take part in the hackathons. There is a heavy crowd of students who apply for the particular event, and some of the students take a step back because of the overpopulation in the college. There is a cultural festival every year held very largely on the lawns, where some of the celebrities make their presence known to a large crowd of people. The environment and overall surroundings of the college are so beautiful, covered with gardening flowers and there are many other aspects where students can spend their free time chilling here and there and also changing out with friends. The environment also has a very positive impact on the students minds and helps us think of some knowledgeable material that can help in personality development. There are also sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, Kabaddi and badminton. You can easily take advantage of all the sports equipment and go out with friends. The college also offers much more interesting things, such as indoor games and many more. The scholarships at the college are provided on the basis of certain criteria; there are many scholarships based on the students availability. Such as management quota, physically disabled persons quota, and other categories of students also got scholarships in my college.

Absolutely a waste of time & money. Placements are lower compared to other universities.
Placements: Placements are not up to par. For maximum people, a 3.5 LPA is offered, as are non-sector jobs. Guidance for internships and placements is average; you need to work on it. Placements are lower compared to other colleges, and there is no guidance for placements.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good, and I think the hostel fee is high. Most people stay in outside hostels. The college is large, with a number of blocks, different kinds of labs, and greenery around campus. Different blocks serve different purposes. Classrooms are neatly organized.
Faculty: Overall, it is good, and some faculty are really helpful and can guide us. Subjects are according to the technologies and need to improve real-time examples. For semester exams, you need to study the overall syllabus. Only PPT lectures are given; we need to improve them.

    Presidency University: An honest review.
Placements: Students get placed in very good MNCs and other companies. The average placement is 5 lacs, and the highest placement in 2024 was 16 lacs. There is also the opportunity to study abroad at our college with a scholarship from the college. An exchange student programme is also available.
Infrastructure: The college has all the basic necessities required. Wi-Fi and smartboards in the classroom are available. The library is also on campus. The hostel also has all the amenities. The playground, the gym, the mess, and everything one can request are there. Hostel is 2 sharing and 3 sharing.
Faculty: The university has well-experienced faculty who have graduated from reputed IITs and NITs. They have many years of experience and are very interactive in the classes. They help a lot during projects and exams. We have two exams in a semester.

Full review of Presidency University .
Placements: I got passed out in 2024. This year, almost 60% of the students were placed. The highest package is 11 LPA by State Street Company, and the lowest package is 3.25 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Mu Sigma, IBM, Capgemini, Accenture, State street and Deltax. Internships are not given at our college. The top role offered in our course is that of data analyst .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good at our college. The university provides a digital library to students. 24 x7 students Wi-Fi is available at the university. Facilities available in the hostel are a gym, a yoga room, and indoor games like tennis, chess and table tennis. Food is not good in a mess.
Faculty: Almost every faculty member is a Ph.D. graduate. Teaching is excellent. If we don't understand a topic in the class, we can go to the faculty cabin for an explanation. Semester exams are not that tough. Out of 100, we need to score a minimum of 30 marks to pass the subject.
Other: While I'm going to the university, there is a huge demand for artificial intelligence and machine learning. So I chose this course. Every year in May, management conducts a festival called INVINCIA, where they call singers and influencers as guests. A national scholarship is offered by the college.
