School of Modern Media, UPES Scholarships
The School offers more than five merit-based scholarships under all programmes. Candidates can get up to 100 per cent tuition fee waiver under these scholarships depending upon their marks. Below mentioned are the details regarding School of Business, UPES scholarships:
Scholarship for BBA students:
BBA students are awarded two scholarships on the basis of merit. Details of the same are mentioned below:
- Merit-Based Scholarship:Â This scholarship is offered on the basis of Class 10 and Class 12 scores. Candidates, who have secured 75 per cent aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12, can get a tuition fee waiver of 50 per cent tuition fee waiver. This scholarship is awarded for 10 per cent seats of each programme in the first semester for CBSE, I(Hons), Computer Science and Engineering, and state board students.
- Uttarakhand State Board Toppers Scholarship:Â This scholarship is provided to the candidates who have completed Class 10 and Class 12 from UK State Board with 80 per cent aggregate. 150 toppers from UK State Board will be awarded this scholarship. One student from each programme will get this scholarship based on merit. A tuition fee waiver of 25 per cent will be given to the boys and 35 per cent to girl students in the first year.
Scholarship for BA:
BA students are awarded a scholarship on the basis of Class 10 and Class 12 marks. Candidates, who have secured a minimum aggregate of 75 per cent, can get a tuition fee waiver of 50 per cent in the first semester. This scholarship is offered for only five per cent seats.
Scholarship for MBA students:
Scholarship to MBA students will be given on the basis of CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/UPESMET or any other national-level management entrance exam. A minimum of 80 percentile is required in CAT/XAT exam and 90 percentile in MAT, NMAT, UPESMET or any other entrance exam. A tuition fee waiver of 25 per cent will be awarded for the 10 per cent seats in each programme in the first year. Below-mentioned are the details of scholarships provided on the basis of CAT percentile:

Scholarship for MA students:
Students pursuing MA programme are awarded a scholarship based on their Class 10,12 and graduation score. A minimum of 60 per cent aggregate in Class 10,12 and graduation is required. This scholarship is offered for only five per cent seats.

Placements: The School of Modern Media is new. It's only been 3 years now. So next year, the students of the 3rd year are going to get placement. But then again, there are a lot of big companies that recruit from the other schools of UPES like School of Business, School of Engineering, etc.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are extremely good and there's studio, editing room, Podcast, makeup room, etc. All these rooms are newly build and amazing. The Wi-Fi of our campus is a bit slow. Food court and HOD is amazing. There were ...
Placements: Don't know much about the placements as not a single batch of this course have been passed out till now. But we think that the placements will either be average of above average as the faculty which teaches here is very experienced and we'll renowned. Some are the editors of the times network, some are at a very reputed position in voot, etc.

Placements: The internships which are provided in the course are good for an individual to gain good experience. The placements are well as the whole placements depend on the grades students' score that's the only drawback as they only see the bookish knowledge and the experience they gain.
Infrastructure: The hostel campus is good, and they provide the facilities that are valued for money the campaign is well-equipped with Wi-Fi 24X7. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, and the laboratories are well-equipped ...
Placements: About 70-90% of students from our curse get placed. Top recruiting companies like NDTV and Times of India visit our college to hire students from our course. I think above 80% of students from our course get an internship in the best companies like Aaj Tak. Top roles like photojournalists and a reporter are offered here.

Exclusive scholarship for all girl students:
- 25% Scholarship on tuition fees for all girls taking admission in any of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate for 2020 Intake
- This scholarship is applicable for the full duration of the program
- Renewal of this scholarship is on yearly basis
