Good teachers and curriculum, could work more on the facilities for students.

Placements: Internships opportunities and Certificate courses are plenty. There are several credit courses as well, although time consuming but quite enriching. Around 85% students get internships in the final year. Around 65 % students get placed in the final year with the starting package of 3 lacs and so on.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and the classes represent a classic pink British style. There is a central lawn and auditorium as well. The well decorated arches and intricately designed pillars add to the charm. There is a canteen with coffee and juice shops as well. There is a sports club also with a basketball court on campus. Wi-Fi is there in the library and in the hostel as well. But the hostel infrastructure is quite old and there are little to no developments. Students do not have much privac...

It is the best college for graduation in Mumbai.

Placements: There is a placement cell in Sophia College, which conducts placements for the students irrespective of their fields. The top roles that were offered in these internships were mainly digital marketing, HR, and many more. A lot of well-known recruiting companies, as well as well known NGOs, visit the campus. Many graduates from our college were able to get placements in these companies. Most of them were paid internships. Placement cell is very dedicated to their work and would also be used to fo...

It is a college that builds you as a person. You can gain experiences beyond academics and grow.

Placements: In the year 2021, Sophia was considered the second-best college in Mumbai for arts. It is still one of the best. Most of the arts courses do not yield an immediate job after graduation, still, Sophia has got its placement cell that provides internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Sophia is quite famous for its canteen as told by people who got to attend offline classes before the pandemic. The building is beautiful. I am not sure but I had heard that it used to be a palace before. However, the hostel has a ver...

Placements: Sophia College has an amazing placement cell, which provides with job and internship opportunities for students of all years. They also conduct various resume-building workshops which helps a lot for better placement chances. They have partnered with various MNCs and domestic companies.

The college life at Sophia College is the best.

Placements: There is a placement cell which offers many internships and volunteer opportunities. It has started recently. Many internships are offered with roles like a content writer, HR and social media marketing roles in various companies. Some of them are top companies.

Infrastructure: Our campus is beautiful, with excellent infrastructure and canteen. It is probably the best canteen in Mumbai. You will never feel bored at any time as always different and interesting events are organised every day. There is a vast library with a huge and varied collection of books. Many rare books which are not found in many places are available in our library which you need to look into during your assignments and projects. Many sports are available. The college also organises industrial trips to provides first hand experience about the industry.

Placements: There is no placement cell yet in place. They are working towards having one. They've send surveys to students asking them about the kind of organisations and companies they want to have on board. However they still offer internships to some courses. I'm looking forward to what the placement cell has in store for us.

Infrastructure: As a Science student, I feel the laboratories are very well maintained and updated. The students have access to the library as well as computer lab. We are given proper and modern eq...

A good college for BMM with amazing faculty and well maintained infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell just started this year (2020). I can't talk about the placement cell unless it is fully established. But I'm pretty sure they will bring really good companies on board. They've started with survey on the kind of companies students are interested in. Everybody is very positive about getting placements.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is simply amazing. Students have access to well maintained libraries and labs (Computer as well as Science labs). There is a gym in the college. The college encourages various sports from cricket to basketball. There are so many talks and seminars held that allow students to enrich their knowledge or express themselves on the selected issue. The B.M.M. department itself organises movies every friday. These movies are from across the countries from Japan to India. Satur...

Sophia College for Women always work towards its goals and successfully achieve it.

Placements: I did my B.A in history, and there were 30 students in our course during our tenure. To join in this course, we need to have at least a B grade in our academics. History students opted for museum work or became teachers, or most of them further opted for PG.

Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure and developed classrooms. Some classrooms are equipped with projectors. The library consists of almost all the books which we required in our course. There was good hostel and canteen facilities as well. T...

The college is a great in terms of most of the things.

Placements: The batch for B.A. Economics has around 80 students with 2 sections that is 40 students per section. Around 10% students were placed. The placement opportunities were not that great in the college. There were not enough companies for placements. Since, not enough companies were there so there was no knowledge of salary package. The internship opportunities were also not that good.

Placements: The college doesn't have a personal placement cell but they do get recruiters from out who keep visiting and taking interviews and hiring candidates. Apart from this there is a notice board in the canteen where they have all the important notices and all the vacancies and placement centre list.

Infrastructure: The college has gym, Huge library, medical facilities, sports game room, huge garden and is located at a very calm and serene place. Placements: Placement cell is student run and mostly gives internships more than jobs. Placement has to be done by yourself. When you finish you gain a lot of experience in organising college festivals and other college events which become a huge plus point for your CV. Lots of student run initiatives to add to your CV.

Infrastructure: Beautiful campus, one of the best in Mumbai. For a city as crowded as Mumbai, campus is lovely with a large central garden and greenery. Hostel is in the same building. Literally just a floo...

Placements: Our college moulds us to make us extremely fit for the industry. We are taught not only the basic requirements, but also the practical applications of our studies. Most students went forward with their education in related fields, while some got jobs. Both categories found it very easy to do so since we were well-equipped.

Placements: Sophia College is vastly known for its arts courses. Science students do get placed but they opt for PG courses after UG companies like Wipro and Piramal do come for placement with packages of about 2-3 lakhs. Internships are also offered in the vacations up to 4,000-5,000 stipend. 40% of the UG students do get the jobs as others prefer doing PG courses and 80% PG students are placed as few do opt for doing PhD.

Project and assignment given during the three-years prepares the student for the future. The campus, no doubt is mesmerizing. In between the nature. You just might get to discover the 'new you' in your college days.
