Review of St. Xavier's College Mumbai.

Placements: Placements are offered only for students who choose the major subject as economics or have a double minor with economics as one of the two subjects. Many students opt for further studies and don't opt for placements. Between 50%-60% of the students get placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Internships are comparatively easy to get from the second year as our college placement cell plays an important role in providing internships.

Infrastructure: The campus of St. Xaviers College,...

Review of St. Xavier's College.

Placements: In St. Xavier's Autonomous College, Mumbai, placements are usually held for the students of economics, BMM and BMS. Only 3% of the students got placed, requiring their GPA to be above 3-3.5 out of 4. The salary package offered to them was 6-7 LPA, and the companies that visit are mostly MNCs from Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.

Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities like labs, museum, multi-media rooms and library. Quality of food served in the canteens is very good, and students us...

Placements: There is a widely variant for deserved students. Here all the company come together to provide a different type of jobs according to deserved students. They all should must capable of them so the company, when the evaluating were quite sharp and understand itself.

Infrastructure: Everything is quite decent. All the faculty members are extremely well and educated. When I came to this college, I had no any index about college. It was not at all look like an education place, and it was like a historical monument. T...

I am satisfied with this college in all aspects, students can learn many things in 3 years.

Placements: Placements are very good. More than 50% of students are placed in companies with different work profiles. The lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA in LTI. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA in Lynk Global. The average salary ranges from 5.5 LPA - 6 LPA. BMS and B.A. students get a good package. The major recruiter for IT is Deloitte, and other companies which visit are PWC, MX player, EY, JP Morgan, etc. It has the best placements among degree colleges in south Bombay.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. I would 4 stars because this college is not big, but it has every possible thing like a basketball court. The college canteen is neat. Gym khana which can be used in free time, for leisure activities. It has 2 libraries in one student can issue books, and read and other is a reference library which just for reading. Both libraries are great. The college has a xerox facility inside the college which gives xerox and print at a cheap price. College also counseling center...

In St Xavier's college, you feel like you are at your home.

Placements: For placements, companies start visiting our college in the second year only. Our college provides a placement cell which plays an intermediate role between students and companies. Companies schedule their pre-placement talks with students. Interested students further initiate the process to get selected in the organisation.

Infrastructure: It is a very old and known college so to maintain its aura and name. Our college always focuses on its infrastructure. The basic infrastructure model is the same which was ma...

Very good placements in 2021.

Placements: A large majority of the students get placed every year through placements. Top recruiting companies are mainly consulting firms like McKinsey, Brain, Accenture, Kearney etc. The highest package offered in 2021 was 24 lpa. The average package is around 7 - 8 lpa.

Infrastructure: The quality of the classrooms and library is very good. Being an old historic college, they have maintained to preserve its infrastructure. Hence major improvements are not made in terms of infrastructure. The quality of the Wi-Fi and net...

I am absolutely happy and lucky to have gotten a chance to study in this institute.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college. However, I was not a part of it. There are seminars organised for biological sciences wherein the representatives from various companies come and tell us about the kind of jobs available for us. They give their email id so as the interested candidates can contact them. Also, foreign universities do come to St. Xavier's College to select students for the PhD programme. Besides, the professors of the life science department keep us updated with the job ope...

Placements: I have no idea about this at the moment cause this is my first year so I am some what more towards enjoying college life than getting into placement and stuff but Xaviers has a great brand value so considering that I guess the no. Of placements and other questions that are asked must be at an above average level.

The best thing about this college is co-curricular activities. One can take part in any of those activities and gain knowledge about the corporate world. I think St.Xaviers is the best college to make the student one for another. It teaches us to help others. And about the campus it's good enough to play games.

Opting between Xaviers and Delhi University, what can your criterion be.

Placements: Placements occur throughout the year, and offers are rewarded to all the streams. McKinsey recruits from Xavier's, and eco-stats is the most sort after by recruiters. 20% of the batch got placed. Most offers range from 2 to 10 lacs. Except for McKinsey, the roles are offered as Analysts mostly.

Infrastructure: Xavier's has a student-run placement committee. The exposure at Xavier's is the highest through interaction with creative and off-beat people. It is limited in space...

College is very nice. It has very nice faculty. You will feel no regrets after taking admission in this college. Crowd is just average and infrastructure is awesome. Fees structure is also very reasonable. College even provides scholarships for students. College also organizes job fare every year that leads to plenty of placements.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty. Average placements.

Placements: Placements were good in economics and statistics but placements weren't that great for mass media and were not 100 percent. The highest was 10 lakhs offered by Citibank and the lowest around 3 lakhs. E&Y also came. The internship was compulsory but we need to find it on our own.

Infrastructure: Every room has a projector. It is equipped with Wi-Fi with an amazing and well-stocked library. Rare books are also available. A medical Kit was there in the college. Sports included were basketball, hockey, football and volleyball. The extracurricular part is amazing. Labs are having computers with up to date software. Amazing food is there in the canteen with north Indian, south Indian, veg, non-veg, Chinese, chat, ice-cream i.e. almost everything. The hostel is only for boys, especially the d...
