Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: Companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys, and others come to college for placements. There are rounds for placements and if a person gets selected for a position, then he/she cannot appear again for other companies in college. In the 6th semester, students have an option for an internship or can opt for a project which will be done in college itself.

Infrastructure: SICSR has one college building. It has 7 floors, and on each floor, there are separate washrooms for males and females. On the ground floor, there is a canteen. All sizes classrooms and computer labs are available, Hostel is available for girls in the building named ELTIS Girls Hostel. The hostel starts from the 4th floor to the 8th floor. The 9th and 10th floors are for staff. On the 4th floor, the mess is available and a common room is provided where daily attendance is taken at night. The roo...

Our college provides good teachers and a fairly good crowd.

Placements: I have no idea about the percentage of students get placed. But I do know that some companies come for entry-level jobs in the college. Top roles which are offered in the college are jobs like system administrator and such. Some internships are offered to students throughout the year. But I don't know much about them as I didn't apply for any of them. Top recruiting companies are some service-based companies.

Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are small, but the main two labs are huge enough. There is not much of infrastructure. The campus is just a 7 level building. Wi-Fi is available in almost all the classrooms, and the signal strength is fine. However, the internet is restricted and has blocked any social media websites. The library seems to be fairly equipped, but I have not used this facility, and the reading room has around half a floor dedicated towards it. The quality of food served in the mess is fa...

Dissatisfied only because of campus area and the attendance percentage criteria.

Placements: 1. 60% of students were placed 2. The highest package was 4.8L and the lowest was 1.5L 3. Concentrics, l&t and other 2-3 companies were there for recruitment. 4. Executive, assistant, dept. head roles were offered. 6. All students were placed or doing internships.

Infrastructure: 1. College infrastructure is okay but the campus is really very small as compared to other colleges of Symbiosis. Wi-Fi, labs and other facilities are provided. 2. Quality of canteen food is good, the medical institute of Symbiosis is...

SICSR: A college of future.

Placements: The placement is quite good with various companies coming for the placements such as Tavisca, Deloitte, Byjus, Capgemini, SKP, VMware, Vodafone, Redhat, IBM to name a few. The highest package is around 18 Lacs and the average placements is around 6 Lacs.

Infrastructure: The college is located at S. B. road in Pune which is good location of Pune. The class has wi-fi connectivity. The college has world class facilities such as the library, gym and computer labs. Also, the quality of food served to us is good. So, ...

The college is not up to the mark. The only advantage for the students is its reputation.

Placements: I don't know much about placements, but I recently heard from our seniors that a student from the BCA department got a great package of around 18 LPA after the completion of her course. However, I heard that the girl who got placed was highly skilled when compared with others. Overall, the placements are not that great here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pathetic. Although we have labs, we don't have efficient computers. The campus life is very poor. Since we only have a 7-storey building,...

This college used to be the best one earlier.

Placements: As per our seniors, we don't really get placements here. But a few excellent students have still got placed directly after the completion of their course. As we are the students of the first year of our course, we aren't really informed anything related to this yet, so we are even going with the opinion of our seniors.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very old. It really needs some improvement to match its reputation. The basement is poorly constructed and requires a lot of renovation. You ca...

Best circulam for IT management aspirants with good faculty members.

Placements: Placements from last five years are drastically going down, before of the competition which SICSR is facing with SCIT in IT placements. 85%placement with 6 lacks heights and 4.5 the lowest, only startups and medium companies visit, roles like business analyst and data analyst are entertained.

Infrastructure: Only one tall building with 7 floors very congested and we have problem with class room available when we have all the programs functioning at the same time. Only few seats are available in hostel that to a...

Best college to study IT courses, well equipped with all the facilities and the placements are good.

Placements: SICSR offers 100% placement for courses such as BCA. It has a good record of placement and has tie-ups with various companies such as Deloitte. The college has a separate placement team which Is responsible for bringing various companies to the campus. The average salary offered for a BCA graduate is around 4-5lakh per annum. It can be much higher as exceptions are always there. The jobs offered to BCA graduates are usually of the software developer or controlling big data or even as an associat...

I expected high from Symbiosis college but this was a very bad college as compared to other college.

Placements: In our college, the placement cell is nice. Before the placement, there are some placement cell activities as well. But it only depends on the mood of the placement coordinator. Most of the companies, nowadays, do not come to the placements. Tthe startup companies are the only ones that come to the placements. We got a company like Amazon, but we have to go out of the campus to get the placement. At an average, we got a stipend amount of around Rs. 2.5 lakhs. But it can depend on the class resul...

I would like to say that if you want to do your UG aur PG in IT field, SICSR is a good option.

Placements: Symbiosis is known for its good placement statistics, and SICSR of the Institute of SIU is also the best in its placement. It offers good placements for both UG and PG courses. Around 90% of the students get placed in the campus placement. In MSc-CA batch of 2014-2016, one of the students (a fresher) got Rs. 15 lakhs package and for MBA-IT, the highest package offered was Rs. 10 lakhs. The average package offered for MSc-CA and MBA-IT was Rs. 5 lakhs each. The students from MSc-CA got placed as ...

The college offers a good course curriculum, and there is a lot to learn. Placements are the worst.

Placements: Maximum of the students were placed, but not in a good company. The placement quality has been degraded badly. The TPO was behind just providing students with internships and not actually bothered about final placements. One of the companies invited by the college was the worst company to work with, and almost 14 people were recruited, but no one was offered a job as the company was not capable of providing the CTC promised.

Infrastructure: The college is sufficient enough. The canteen and library are good. Ther...

Placements: All reputated companies come for the campus recruitment, college has 99% placement, average salary is 5.5 lacs per annum the highest was 8.70 lacs per annum, students can go for IT or management, college also provide internship, the highest stipend is around 25000 per month and the lowest is around 5000 per month.

Satisfactory college with good placements.

Placements: The placement officer handles the placement in SICSR. He gets the best of companies. The student can crack the interview and get a good job. MBA-IT every year gets admission of 100 students approximately, and all students get the internship from college. That is a great achievement for SICSR.

Infrastructure: SICSR is currently working on the internal infrastructure of college as it doesn't have anything much to offer in infrastructure. It has a new library, a spacious reading room for students and indoor games s...

Placements: Placements are up to the mark in this college. Top-notch companies like Deloitte, Infosys, LTI, Capgemini and a few others have already conducted their placement drive for SICSR this year, and students who sincerely appeared for the same got selected without any issue. Apart from this, various startups and Tier-II companies including companies from the same city have also selected students this year. Good course but management has to plan and co-ordinate better to keep students informed.

Placements: The placements would be considered below average. It offers packages from 2 LPA to 3 LPA while other Symbiosis institution which offers only BBA offers starting salary at 3.5 LPA. In SICSR, companies like L&T and Infotech for 2-year training and jobs, Amazon (customer care and BPO), Justdial had offered jobs last year (2017) and HSBC 2 years before that. The companies differ every year, and there are not many options for placements just 2 or 3 companies come for placements. The student percentag...

Placements: Placements are not really good. There are companies coming, but a very few companies are good. For MBA-IT also, the placements are very poor. But still, I got placed during by BCA. For masters, the package they provide isn't that good. During my graduation, the companies that came were Deloitte, L&T, ZS Associate and Vodafone visited for placements. Placements: 100% of the students were offered the internship from the college itself. The placement was dependent on the candidate's work performance in the internship. A few companies gave direct placements and the average package offered was around 5 lakhs per anum. Companies like HSBC and Bajaj Finserv visited the campus.

Good course, average placements and poor faculty.

Placements: The placements are good. Good companies are visiting this year. Even I got placed at Deloitte with a package of 3 lakhs/yr . Apart from this, many other companies also hired from our college like Vodafone, ZS Associates, Tata Consultancy Services and many more.

Infrastructure: Our campus is small as compared to the other colleges in Pune. You cannot expect such a huge campus in the heart of the city. Apart from this, we have labs which use all free and open source software, which sometimes makes it difficult for a student to execute tasks. But if we see it for the long run, we learn a lot many things just by learning operations in the labs. Wi-Fi facility is highly secured and is provided with a good speed. We have most of the books related to the courses in the libra...

It feels like you are in a government college. The faculty is awesome, but the management and placement are in wrong hands. By the way, the course structure is to train you for business analysis but there were hardly any company offering freshers the post. If you really want to be in touch with IT and go for management, frankly, go for SCIT.
