Review of UID - Unitedworld Institute of Design.

Placements: Regarding placements, students can hope for the best, but they have to prepare for the worst. The placement cell is situated inside the college, but good placements are not provided yet. We hope it will be better in future, and there are plenty of chances to grow better.

Infrastructure: The college campus is good, and it is better than many other colleges. There are huge classrooms and workshops so that all the students can be accommodated. Canteens are also huge. Basketball courts and badminton courts are avail...

Review of UID Karnavati University.

Placements: They only charge money, there have been no college placements as of now, and you will have to rely on your portfolio. Most of the students privately apply for internships, and these students get in huge companies, compared to NIFT, NID and the fees that we pay, is an ultimate failure.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility of the college is not free, only 15 GB for a month is given to students, which is less than what Vodafone and Airtel offer. Labs are limited to the number of students studying. The software of the ins...

It is a great college for fashion designing course in Gujarat.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good, but they invite local companies. The major plus point is faculty members arrange us as volunteers for fashion shows as well as an exhibition of famous designers like Umang, Hutheesing and Anju Modi.

Infrastructure: College is very good. It is well-equipped with all the facilities that are required by the students. The college provides air-conditioned classrooms, a sufficient amount of laboratories, Wi-Fi and multiple college canteens and very good stationery for students...

One of the best design colleges in India.

Placements: We don't need to worry about our placements as UID aid known for its DESIGN courses & placements. This year, the students of 4th year got placements into well known & established companies. Around 150 companies visited the college for placements. Some companies visited the campus, while the others called the students to the companies.

Infrastructure: Classes are well-equipped with the amenities & fully air conditioned, which makes our survival possible during the summers. Hostels are upto the expectations with ...

Good infrastructure with best facilities. No college based placement.

Placements: There are no placement in designing field. They help us to make best portfolio so that we get best internships and placements. Every students get nice placement offering above 50,000 and depends on the students work. Students generally get appointed as lead for designing projects. No college based placements are there. The stipend provided to students are mostly around 4-10,000.

Infrastructure: College has a nice building with every facilities in studios. Also they have different studio for different activities...

I am satisfied with the college in all aspects.

Placements: About 70% of the students got placed from college, whereas the remaining 30% opted out as either they wanted to continue family business or have their own start-up companies. During our course duration, Byju's, Tanishq, FabIndia, Titan, and Tata Motors visited the campus for recruitment. Most of the profiles were about product development design, customer engagement & some more similar. The average salary package offered ranges from about 10 LPA - 12 LPA. Internships were quite well, and some of...

I don't want to visit the college again.

Placements: Placements provided in our college were the worst. Students of my senior batch and my batch were not placed through campus placements. We, students, made efforts to get placed and also to get internships. The average salary offered was about Rs. 10,000 per month. Mostly, companies ask the students to pay money or to do an internship without any stipend. Only 1% of the students got placed with the help of faculty members.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good enough. Now, they are making it b...

United world institute of design : reviews from batch 2012 to 2017.

Placements: There were no placements provided since we were the first batch. However, it was promised that the placements would be provided. Based on our internships, which was self-selected from the students, now has been displayed on the website as a part of placements provided by the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is simple yet impressive. The students will fall in love with the place. The students must make sure to see the course structure and facilitie...

Absolutely satisfied with the college. Beautiful landscape, and great infrastructure.

Placements: The companies who got into my college for the placement interviews were good. Many of them were placed, however most of them applied for jobs on their own. Not really sure of the salary offered but most of them were designed the post of junior/senior designer based on their skills. Incase of internships, everyone applied on their own, however college helped the one's who could not manage it on their own.

Placements: Olie lighting in Bangalore as a lighting and print designer. Placement was not provided by the college and that is way better than getting one of their options though they have ok options Salary 18000/- job not found on campus found the job on my own.

The college is good and had the open working environment.

Placements: I am doing my graduation project internship at a place recommended by the college, and it is a great place for exposure and work. However, our seniors weren't provided with the options as their batch was among the first ones to study at UID. Now, there is a placement cell which researches the places we could work at, though it is not very much into the specific areas of design and is open to suggestions from our side.

Infrastructure: The whole campus had Wi-Fi connectivity and equipped with all kinds of labs and...

It is a good college but I am dissatisfied with the management.

Placements: Lifestyle accessories design is a blend of jewellery, ceramic, leather, and home decor. The faculty of LSA provides guidance regarding these materials. Companies like Titan, Tanishq, Vinod Steel, Farah Khan Atelier, etc., visit our campus for placements. Although there are good companies coming for the placements, one cannot entirely depend on the college placements. Building a strong portfolio is more critical where faculty members guide the students.

Infrastructure: The lifestyle accessories design course incl...

The college has good infrastructure and faculty, but it is a bit expensive.

Placements: As I am still pursuing the course, I haven't got placed yet, but many of my seniors said that the placements are average. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS etc. Top roles offered in my course are project design manager, designer etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is jaw-droppingly beautiful and well-maintained all the time. The hostel services are average, but the mess food is amazing and much better than most of the colleges with 3-4 canteens. Sports persons have a great sc...

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements from our seniors batch have been really good. People have received packages upto 50,000. the lowest have been around 7000. Companies don't usually visit our college because according to our dean it's a little demotivating for all the students. He believes that every student's skill is unique and every student should get their best chance. Our college helps bridge between the company a student wants and helps them get their desired position in the college. Every student got an internsh...

The college has skilled faculty members and awesome infrastructure.

Placements: Almost everybody gets an internship in our college. The placements purely depend on your skills. In every design college, skills are the only thing that'll get you placed in the industry. I don't know the statistics, but necessary skills for placements are provided very efficiently and effectively.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautiful, and the campus has a lot of greenery. The environment is soothing for a college. There are a lot of material labs and workshops for every course offered on the campus. ...

I am disappointed with this college.

Placements: Management is very disgusting and doesn't support in campus placements. They would show multiple companies which offer placements. However, students got an internship on their own efforts without any help from college and also got placed on their merit.

Infrastructure: Food tastes the same every day, and they have no sense of cooking and preparing good quality of food. They have a lot of pest infestation. Conditions of the room are just fabricated to look good, but they have leaking problems, cleanliness issues ...

Placements: The first batch is yet to be placed but the college has good connections with many companies. The first batch of Automobile design will pass out in 2021 as this course is quite new. We can expect a package of 4-5 Lacs. A good number of students got internships last year.

Infrastructure: The lifestyle in college is average but the good thing is that everything is changing very fast in a positive way. Wi-Fi is provided to the students on monthly basis. Labs are properly equipped and we can work in the labs efficie...
