UPES Dehradun is the best college to study marketing management.
Placements: Currently, I am doing an MBA in marketing management from UPES. They provide the best placements, they have 94% placement rates and the highest package is 29 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average is 7.70 LPA. They have top recruiting companies like Accenture, Parag, Decathlon, and Infosys. The marketing management program at UPES includes positions like brand manager, product manager, social media manager, and various marketing manager roles, including digital marketing manager.
Infrastructure: They have a well-maintained infrastructure with modern facilities, including Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and digital libraries. The university has separate boys' and girls' hostels, a gym, and sports facilities. They provide the best quality in the mess, canteen, and medical facilities for sports and games also.
Faculty: They are covering a comprehensive curriculum with specialized areas like digital marketing and strategic marketing. The faculty is experienced and supportive, and exams are manageable with pertinent course material. The semester exams are moderate level. UPES is 33% or 35% depending on the specific course and department.
Other: I love to communicate with people that's why I joined this course. I wish that it would be better if the course could give us more practical experience during our studies. They offer a dynamic campus experience with a mix of academic and cultural events, including annual festivals like Uurja and freshers' parties. The campus is located in a serene, chill environment, and provides connectivity through transportation services and Wi-Fi. Various extracurricular activities and clubs are available, along with student support services.

It is an amazing place to study.
Placements: Placements at UPES are great. In my batch, almost 90% of students who enrolled to sit for placement got placed. The average package is 3 LPA in decent companies. Many top companies come to the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies such as Accenture, E&Y, Amazon, Aditya Birla Group, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. I lived in the campus hostel for 2 years, and rooms are good. The food is well-prepared and delicious. Cleanliness is well-maintained. Wardens are also good. The library area is excellent with good reading space and all amenities. Wi-Fi works amazingly. Classrooms, playgrounds, and everything is good here.
Faculty: Professors are supportive and good in their fields. Most of them are from IITs and IIMs which brings them a lot of knowledge. They are very helpful. Exams vary based on subjects, and some are easy and some are difficult. It has the best faculty members ever.
Other: I chose this course because BBA is a rare field especially when we want to put ourselves in the business world, especially marketing which is base of any business. I would rate 10 out of 10 the course taught in UPES with a lot of practical learning and field exposure.

Dissatisfied with the management system.
Placements: In MBA analytics and big data placement is good but in graduation degree placement is not very good because specific company is not company for any particular one branch or one specialisation. In BBA companies of sales are coming more in upes college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well and good Wi-Fi is also working good quality of hostel is alo fine they are proving many facilities in campus hostel. Many sports activities are also organised by upes college like table tennis, basketball, football so the students will also explore different kind of sports.
Faculty: Faculty is good in our college they are friendly with students and they guide for future also. Curriculum is fine in many subject theory part is maximum as compared to particle part. In upes internal marks weightage is more than end term exams bit it's compulsory to clear end term exam and minimum passing marks for each subject is 35 marks.

Great college for law aspirants with excellent infrastructure and industry exposure.
Placements: A significant percentage of students from my batch were placed, especially those who actively participated in internships and extracurricular activities. Top recruiters included Dentons Link Legal, JSW, Tata, Hero, etc. The highest package offered was around 11 LPA, the average ranging between 4 to 5 LPA. Internship opportunities were available from the end of 1st year itself. Students are well guided through the placement cell and workshops.
Infrastructure: UPES has an impressive infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, smart boards, digital libraries, moot court halls, and modern labs. The hostel facilities are excellent, with clean rooms, regular housekeeping, and round-the-clock security. The food in the mess is hygienic with multiple cuisine options, and there is a cafeteria and food court for variety. Medical facilities, sports grounds, a gym, and recreational space make hostel life very comfortable and enjoyable.
Faculty: Faculty members at UPES are well qualified and experienced, many of whom hold PhDs or have substantial industry exposure. They are approachable, supportive, and encourage active student participation through case studies, moot courts, and debates. The curriculum is updated regularly to stay aligned with current industry trends and includes relevant electives like Criminal Law, IPR, Taxation, Institutional, etc. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty but require consistent learning. The pass percentage is high provided that students put in the required effort. Continuous assessment ensures that students stay engaged throughout the semester.
Other: I chose BBA LL.B. at UPES because of its unique specialisation options and strong reputation in legal education. The best part of the course is its practical orientation through internships, moot court sessions, and guest lectures by industry experts. The college regularly hosts national-level events, seminars, and fests like UURJA, adding vibrant energy to the campus. I wish there were more inter-university exchange programs or international collaboration, but otherwise, it's a fantastic learning environment. The campus is beautiful, located amidst hills, with great weather and modern facilities.

Great university in IPR with a vibrant environment and excellent exposure.
Placements: I am currently pursuing B.A. LL.B. hons with specialisation in intellectual property rights at UPES, and honesty it's been a journey full of learning and growth. Our course is very niche and well structured, especially for students who are clear about going into the IPR Sector. The university provides great assistance in securing internships and placements to safeguard your career.
Infrastructure: The UPES School of Law at UPES has modern infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms and digital library, a dedicated moot court hall, practice rooms, etc. The recent addition of AR VR legal lab is a great addition to digital immersion in legal learning. There are multiple canteens and cafes to cater to all kinds of needs. Also, our campus has a sports ground for football, cricket, and basketball along with an indoor playing space and a well-equipped gym.
Faculty: Teachers at UPES School of Law are very supportive, well-qualified, and most of them have industry experience. The teaching quality is good with real discussions, moot sessions, and guest lectures from legal professionals. The curriculum is well structured focusing on both theoretical and practical skills in IPR and related laws.
Other: I have always been interested in law and creativity and IPR offers a perfect blend. UPES is one of the few universities with structured IPR specializations and that really attracted me. The best part about the course is the regular internships, practical approach, and opportunity to attract legal professionals. The annual fests like UURJA and law-specific events like VidhiUtsav keep things exciting.

A lot of people view our university as one we see in movies, and somewhere that's true.
Placements: Less than 50% of the students get placed. Students mostly lack basics about the subject. Though teachers prepare you well for the interview, students tend to mess up. As a student, you cannot solely rely on campus placements only. You need to have a backup plan as well.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities provided by the college. This university has very nice infrastructure. You'd love to chill inside the campus more than chilling outside. Winters here are heaven. Classrooms are top-notch. Though ACs and heaters don't work, they are just for show. Wi-Fi too sometimes messes up, but it’s rare. Hostel food has a lot of variety. Hostel buildings and rooms are very well built as well as clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are polite and open-minded (of course, there are some exceptions). Overall, they are really helpful, encouraging, and motivating. Exams, though, for law students are a bit more challenging than the rest.
Other: I chose law as my family’s background was in law, so I have always been inclined towards law. Feasts are not that great, like a good 6/10.
