It has a good gender ratio along with a green campus, great alumina, and good sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but some teachers are strict in their subjects which is a good point for students' better performance. All professors are highly qualified from IITs and NIT, and some other top universities with high teaching experience. For semester exams students must study properly, and pay attention from 1st day of the class itself. As we often hear that after going to IIT or NIT we didn't have to study maths, which is not true. If students want to be different from others and make...

It is a prestigious college with poor placements.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. But few of them are extraordinarily bad. The teaching quality is good. The course is outdated, and it doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams are way too tough. The pass percentage in online mode is 95%. Some teachers are brilliant. The mechanical branch is very reputed here.

Placements: In the year 2020, around 67 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6...

Review of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.

Faculty: Almost all the professors are helpful and highly educated. Their teaching quality is good. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. Pass percentage ratio is above 95. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for industry.

Placements: The final placement of 2019-2020 at VNIT, Nagpur concluded with a total of 522 job offers collectively in both UG & PG programs. The number of recruiters is 136 and the number of students who got placed is 458 from the UG program and 46 from the ...

I am unsatisfied because of online mode but overall it is a good college.

Faculty: Yes the teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. HoD's have more than 35 years experience and they visit to many foreign institutes regarding research works. In college we have many instruments but in my opinion course should be get relaxed and more on practical works and on innovation. Yes semester exams are really of good level. Especially of Electrical in 1st year. Also CP paper is set very brilliantly by the professor. Pass percentage is 40.

Best place to enjoy nature along with getting knowledge and placements.

Faculty: One who has a key should probably know how to open the lock, to know the use of a key. Similarly, one who knows how to learn from faculty members can get a lot of information from the faculty members here, who are always ready to answer all the challenges of the students, solve their every question, every problem. Be it related to studies or to personal life they will always help you to come out of a problem and find a solution. The curriculum is excellent along with the correct exam pattern whi...

If you want to do architecture, then I suggest you opt for this college.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful and approachable whenever you are in need. They are also very considerate towards students. You can get personal attention and feedback quite often, which helps you to improve your academics. The course curriculum is also interesting and relevant.

Placements: B.Arch is not a course where companies come and offer you a job. Some companies would come, but they are very less in number. You have to set up your own firm or work in some other firms.

The college is good and suitable for studying.

Faculty: The teachers are good. They are well-trained, and they also teach very well, except for a few of them. They are not concerned about teaching, and they come for only income. Other than that, our college is good, and all staff members are also good and understandable for students. Teachers use presentations for better understanding for students. They use a mic system for hearable sound.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for few branches. I am currently in the 2nd year, but based on the record, it ...

I am dissatisfied and disappointed with the college.

Faculty: The course curriculum is quite hectic, but it is relevant. Teachers and professors are maximum doctorates and possess good knowledge of the subjects. But they lack teaching qualities. Some faculty members are good but some are bad at teaching. The teaching quality is decent. Some professors are very strict, and some are lenient. Maximum professors are Marathi and Telugu speaking, but the teaching is in English and Hindi.

Placements: Placements at VNIT are below average not only in the civil engineering department but overall as well. Being a national level college it is expected that the placements would be good, but when compared to other NITs the placements here are worse than the lower NITs. The highest salary package offered in civil engineering in the year 2021 was 10.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 5 LPA - 6 LPA, with only 37% of the students getting placed. It has a good infrastructure, quality education and suitable environment.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good at the department level. Many professors here have their research work getting published, and you can work with them and do a research intern. Courses are designed with an object of overall development. Professors are ready to help if someone is willing to learn out of the box.

Placements: For chemical engineering, the top salary package offered is 10.87 LPA in the core, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. This year placements are a bit low due to pandemic as fewer comp...

Satisfied with the curriculum and the faculty. Placements are not too good for our department.

Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified and really helpful. Some of them have experience of about 20-25 years. Teaching quality is average in the first year but when we go to the department, core subjects are taught very well. The curriculum is well designed and the courses included are relevant. We can also choose extra courses.

Good placements, college life and amenities. Good quality food but bad taste.

Faculty: The professors here are very helpful in studies and guide well and even appreciate individual doubts after and in the class. All the professors are qualified and hold Ph.D. qualifications mostly from top IITs and NITs. The teaching is done in depth and smartly using all the amenities available to make best out of it. But honestly, the teaching methodologies of all the teachers are not that impressive. Few teachers are unable to connect with students, but some are really very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, there are almost 3-5 professors in each class. One main professor, two assistant professors. , and there are supporting Ph.D. staffs for a good transfer of knowledge. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. Course curriculum is new and updated very frequently.

Faculty: Faculty are highly qualified, supportive and interactive. We are also having labs in our course which provides us the better understanding and make us industrially ready. It provides more learning opportunities and extracurricular activities. The senior faculty is more interactive and faculty advisors are provided so that it will be easy for the students in case of any trouble.

Faculty: Some teachers are very good, but some have the ego of their teaching experience. Some of them are not well aware of the ongoing trends of technology, and they teach the old ones. The teachers should not just go on teaching because they get the salary, but they should teach in a good way.

SNVIT's average package in 2022 was 15LPA for CSE branch (44LPA the highest) and VNIT's average package was 10LPA and 34LPA the highest. SNVIT has more number of companies for on campus drives so SNVIT is better than VNIT in comparison of placements.

But if you are Home State student of particular NITs or IITs you may get a seat .
You will surely not get any seat in Josaa rounds . So you need to opt for CSAB special rounds so that you may get seat in some NITs or IIITs or GFTIs for some branches . CSE is not a sure thing but sometimes you will get due to luck. It depends on the number of persons who have more rank than you appearing in CSAB rounds and number of seats left in those colleges in those particular branches .
As you mentioned 195050 category rank the chances are really low , you may not get a seat . So try giving JEE again and prepare well this time .
You have three options now:
Join in some long term institutes and prepare for best JEE work hard and give your best.
Join in some engineering college and prepare for you sems and next JEE and give your best ,work hard.
Join in some engineering college and work for you sems .
