I am dissatisfied with college placements. It has good faculty, good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Due to COVID, we did not have campus interviews, and I do not know individually about students who got placed or not. But before, our batch placements were good. I hope the future batches get placed in good hotels and other hospitality industries.

Infrastructure: The college and hostel infrastructure is very good, with excellent faculty members. Our college provides huge air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs, a practical kitchen and bakery, a mock bar and a front office lab. Paid Wi-Fi facilities are availab...

The review of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal.

Placements: The placements on the campus are excellent with all the major companies recruiting for the better positions. 100% placements are done on the campus for the students. All the students have got the internship through the college. Rahul Shedbalkar sir is helpful and co-operative with the internships and the placements. We are allowed to perform all kinds of roles happening in the industry.

Infrastructure: There are the proper and spacious classrooms with all the facilities. There are the spacious labs with the prop...

A perfect step to start your career as a hotelier.

Placements: The college guarantees 100% placements. Many companies like Taj, ITC, Oberoi, Hyatt, Marriott, etc., visit the campus for the placements. The students have full support from the faculty to prepare for the interview, and from now onwards airline company like Vistara also visit the campus for the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college has a library, two restaurants for food and beverage service practical, three kitchens, and one bakery for the food and beverage production practical. It...

Really got more than what I expected

Placements: The placement companies are huge and reputation. Salary starts from 4 LPA. But it also really depends on the students, as now a days, hotels are looking for both physically and mentally fit chefs. Communication skills, general knowledge and the very basics are given much importance during the interview.

Infrastructure: I can vouch that the infrastructure is among the best. Some say that it is even better than many top notch hotels. Two libraries, separate hot kitchen and c...

You won't regret joining this college.

Placements: We have great placement opportunities in our college. A lot of our seniors got really good jobs in multinational hotels and 5-star properties across the country. Also, it's a 4-year course, unlike other colleges, and that helps in getting more hands-on experience which is really important to get a good job.

Infrastructure: WGSHA has a world-class campus. It is the best private college in India and ranks 32 in the world according to a survey. There are really good and helpful faculty. There are three buildings fo...

Review of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA).

Placements: Our college provides the best placements, and almost all the big companies visit here for the campus. You have to be the best at academics to score a management trainee position. ITC, Oberoi, Accor, Taj, Marriot and retail chains such as McD are amongst the top companies coming for placements to the institution.

Infrastructure: As it is the best private hotel management college in India, you will get top infrastructure and facilities. Wi-Fi is paid, but it is very decent. All classrooms are air-conditioned. Mess...

Absolutely satisfied with the course and college.

Placements: The placements at our college are pretty promising. They train us on the basis of practical knowledge and the requirements of the industry. They make sure that we are well prepared for the best hotels around the globe. Placements here are in the best 5-star luxury hotels.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty compact as compared to the other colleges. The technologies and the administration are amazing. The kitchens, bakeries, restaurants are just perfect to get ready for the industry. Plus...

A great college with wonderful faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are really good. All the faculty members are helpful, and our new principal, Chef Thiru sir is taking placements and internships to the next level by inviting many more companies and hotel chains. Many students got selected through campus placements.

Infrastructure: The whole campus and hostel are enabled with Wi-Fi facility. The college has a great sports centre for engaging ourselves in almost more than 20 sports. The college has a centralised air-conditioning system. Classrooms are c...

WGSHA best decision of my life till date.

Placements: Well, a lot of companies come to Wgsha to appoint them as their future managers. But the real truth is that they only heir a few people for example if ITC comes to WGSHA out of a batch of 250 people only 2-4 people have the chances to get pass through phase 1 of the placement process.

Infrastructure: The architecture and the facilities provided are too good as compared to other colleges. We have a wast collection of books which really help in improving the quality of knowledge a person can achieve. Due to so ma...

Really the best college in India to study hotel management and culinary arts.

Placements: WGSHA is known for its reputation and it's ranking for number 1 Pvt. College in India and no.36 in world rankings for hotel management college. The companies visiting campus for placements are Taj, Oberois, marriot, Fairmont etc. Most of the students get placed in various companies as management trainees.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Wgsha is one of the best I have seen compared to other hotel management colleges. It has various restaurants for students to practice service and management, front office labs, housekeeping labs, kitchens with up to date technologies. The mess is equipped with AC, Wi-Fi and offers amazing food, air conditioned classrooms with projectors and white boards. Hostel has both AC and non AC rooms. Air-conditioned library is also there with textbooks to enrichment your brain and no. Of...

WGSHA - There's no college like mine.

Placements: The college had no placements for master's courses. But it gave a good recognition for the companies to offer us a well-paid job. Hotel management students had brilliant opportunities through the college placements. The internship offer from various recognised hospitals for our course was great. We got a good exposure during our internship period. The college had many tie-ups with hospitals, hence finding an internship was not a difficult task. However, no incentives were paid to the interns.

It is the best college in every aspect.

Placements: Taj, ITC, and Mariott are the few companies that recruited students. Most of the students got selected except for a few. About 80% of students got selected and all directly started to work as manager or station chef. Most students are to undergo a lot of tests and go through some challenges.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good hostel facility and quality mess food is provided. Marena is the sports place to try any sport. The classrooms are also very spacious and air-conditioned. The mess is also air-condition...

I'm satisfied with the college.

Placements: The college placements are pretty good. There's a very tough competition for getting a good placement from the college itself. As far as I know, only 4 out of the whole batch got selected for the trade test that happened in our college. The top companies would be Taj, Marriott, ITC, and Oberoi.

Infrastructure: Our college offers world-class learning spaces with perfectly equipped libraries. The college has its own hostel. The hostels are pretty decent. The food is excellent, and it's really good. There are event...

Really good infrastructure .

Placements: The students with 65% and above were given admissions here. There a lot of recruiting companies like ITC, TAJ etc. Around 85% of the students get selected to work in the companies after recruitment. Some of them also just decided to start their own restaurant chain or a cloud kitchen.

Infrastructure: We have all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, huge classrooms with AC. We have a great library. We also have a gym in the hostel. There a volley court outside your hostel. We have a mess and a canteen. The mess food...

Review of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

Placements: I am not much aware of placements here as I'm about to get into 2nd year, and I haven't been a part of the placement process yet. But many companies like Taj, Qatar, ITC, etc., offered internships. I feel the interviews and selections could give students a tough time, but WGSHA prepares you for that.

Infrastructure: The course is very good, just hectic. Hostels are good. There are washing machines. Caretakers are very sweet. Curfew is a little early in the hostel compared to other hostels. But overall, it's good...

Placements: There are about 200 students in my batch. The packages offered are good after graduation. Top recruiting companies are ITC, Oberoi Groups, Taj etc. All kinds of chef and hotel jobs are offered but with low packages at the start. Gradually, it will increase. It is a great course.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good. Food is good. Wi-Fi is bad. It has good hostel and rooms. The campus has a great infrastructure. Volleyball and table tennis are available. A canteen is also available. It is a great place t...

WGSHA is the best college.

Placements: I have no idea what about the percentage of students who got placed. The salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Taj, ITC, Marriott, etc. Almost 100% of the students got an internship. Management trainee is the highest course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered may be Rs. 20,000 pr month. We are offered roles like a trainee but not like an engineer, so it is different to what others get.

It is the best hotel management college in India.

Placements: We have placements from both national and international hotels. Few of the names are Ritz, Carlton, Marriot and Oberoi. Our college has been ranked 36th in the world top 50, so, surely, such hotels want students from our college. Overall, the placements are perfect.

Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure with a newly-made culinary arts building in 2017, and we have pretty decent hostels. Our mess food is considered as one of the best in Manipal as most of it is made by students.
