The minimum relevant work experience for the programme is 3 years. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to apply first and then the final selection is based on an interview. Best wishes.

As per past years' exams decision-making part of XAT is challenging and confusing. Verbal is also a bit difficult in XAT. CMAT/MAT/ATMA on the other hand are have basic level quant (mostly formula-based), verbal is also easy. A good practice for quantitative aptitude, DI/LR will easily get you through CMAT/MAT/ATMA. For CAT and other exams, you need to practice a bit more. G. K is also part of exams like SNAP TISS and IIFT.

If you prepare for the exam well then you can easily crack otherwise you will find an easy exam hard also. For an MBA entrance, there are several exams such as CAT MAT XAT university's own exams such as LPU NEST VITEE, etc. I did an MBA programme at LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things-
The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. Placement: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. The highest package offered for the management programme is 21 LPA. Specialisation offered in MBA: Agribusiness Management, Human Resource, Marketing, International Business, Financial Markets, Digital Market, Hospital and Healthcare, Business Analytics, Banking and Financial Services, Operations, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Ranking:
1. Ranked 1st for Focus on Affordable and clean energy in India
2. Ranked 2nd for Decent Work and Economic Growth in India
3. Ranked 62nd Universities in India
4. Ranked 37th business management schools in India
5. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021
6. It is among the top 20 Indian organizations that have filed the highest number of patents in India in the last 10 years.

For Operation Management & SCM, Nitie is the best institute in India. XLRI's core strength is in HR & IR. However, XLRI's Business Management is at par with other premier B-Schools.

I want to know if I can get a seat in XLRI, I have not written any competitive exams.

Is it better to pursue online certified courses? Can you suggest some best management courses? I am a communication engineer.

It is highly recommended for you to go in for online courses because you can learn at your own pace without disturbing your time-tied schedules.

Yes you can but that shall not be considered equivalent to MBA degree. Leadership course from EdX is the best. Project management, digital marketing, business analysis from simplilearn is great. CFA from CFA institution is best. Also you can check out providers like Udemy, Edupristine, Edukart.
