What is NIFT Entrance Exam?
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts the NIFT entrance exam to shortlist aspirants for admission to its design programmes such as Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech). Considered to be a pioneer in fashion education, NIFT has its headquarters in New Delhi. Apart from New Delhi, NIFT has campuses in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Patna, Shillong, Raebareli, Srinagar and Panchkula.

NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2021
The eligibility criteria for NIFT admissions vary from course to course. Candidates need to meet NIFT eligibility criteria 2021 in order to appear for the NIFT entrance exam.
NIFT BDes Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates should have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with passing marks to be eligible to appear for the NIFT entrance exam 2021. Aspirants should be below 23 years of age for NIFT admission 2021.
NIFT BFTech Eligibility Criteria 2021
Aspirants should have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board wherein they have studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates should have secured passing marks in their Class 12 exam.
NIFT MDes Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates should have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognised institute of the university. There is no age limit criteria for NIFT admission in the MDes course.
NIFT MFTech Eligibility Criteria 2021
Aspirants should have pursued BFTech course at the undergraduate level to be eligible for MFTech course admissions. There is no age limit criteria for NIFT admission in MFTech course.
NIFT MFM Eligibility Criteria 2021

NIFT Admission Process and Selection Criteria
The final admission round for the BDes course is a Situation Test and that for MDes is GD/PI round. For, BFTech course admissions candidates have to take the GAT exam only whereas for MFTech and MFM programmes, candidates have to appear for GAT and GD/PI admission round. NIFT Exam Centres 2021
NIFT Entrance Exam 2021 test centre details are released before the exam is conducted. The design entrance exam is usually conducted in 32 cities across India. Candidates can select only one exam city at the time of filling the NIFT application form. However, the official website of the exam informed that NIFT reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres without any prior notice. In such a case, an alternate centre, which is locationally and administratively convenient, was to be allotted to an aspirant.
