NIFT application form 2023 - The online registration process for NIFT 2023 is now CLOSED.
Online registrations with late fees of INR 5,000 was open from 1-8 January 2023. Meanwhile, registrations with regular fees were open up to December 31, 2022.
The application edit window was OPEN from January 9-12, 2023.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) opened applications for NIFT 2023 exam on November 1, 2022.
To fill out the form, eligible candidates had to get registered, fill in personal, academic, and contact details, upload documents, and pay the application fees.
The NIFT 2023 entrance exam will be conducted on February 5, 2023.

How to Fill NIFT Entrance Exam Application Form 2023
The direct link to fill out the application form for NIFT 2023 was provided on NIFT official admission site (niftadmissions.in).
To fill out the form, you needed to follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Put your AADHAR Number and create login ID
Click on the application tab. A registration form would open asking you to enter the AADHAR Number.
After successful verification of your AADHAR number, NIFT 2023 aspirants had to fill in the following details:
Entering the following details:
- Parent's name
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
Once the details were submitted, an acknowledgment was sent to the registered email address. Note that details provided at the time of creating the login ID were not allowed to be modified later.
Note: The email id and mobile number shared by the candidate at the time of registration can be used for future correspondence related to the online application, admit card, etc (till the admission process is over).
Step 2: Fill in the Application Form
The candidate next had to log in to the newly created account and fill in the following details:
- Test center - Select a test center (city) from the drop-down menu.
- Personal information - including the name of one's parents, gender, nationality, domicile, etc.
- Address for correspondence.
- Academic Qualification
Step 3: Upload documents
The candidate had to next upload their signature and photograph as per the prescribed format (refer to the table below).

Note: Candidates seeking reservation need to upload the Valid Caste Certificate.
Step 4: Pay the application fee
This is the final step in the application process.
The application fee has to be paid online using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Netbanking. The category-wise application fee for NIFT 2023 is given below.

NIFT 2023 Application Correction Window
The application correction window for NIFT 2023 is from 9-12 January,2023.
As part of the application correction process, the candidate is allowed to edit some of the information submitted in the application form.
How to make corrections in NIFT Application Form 2023?
- Visit the official website of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)
- Click on the 'Admissions' tab
- Navigate to the ‘Log In Edit Application/ Registration Details’ tab

Candidates are not allowed to change their test city as part of the application correction window. Aspirants are only allowed to make rectifications with respect to the information provided by them in their application form for the NIFT exam.
Authorities state that if any NIFT application form is found to be incomplete or incorrect after the correction window ended then the NIFT application fee paid by such candidates would not be refunded. Also, the candidature of candidates who provide incorrect information in their application form for the NIFT exam would be canceled.

- Visit the official website - https://nift.ac.in/
- Click on the registration link
- Enter email ID, date of birth and roll number
- Click on Submit
- Follow the prescribed steps for registration
- Choose a date for online interview from the given options
