
UCEED Result 2025 -The UCEED 2025 Score Card was available for download from March 10 to June 11, 2025. The scorecard for UCEED 2025 contains Part A and category-wise qualifying marks. Candidates will be issued common merit ranks (All India Rank), Part A marks, and UCEED 2025 scores. Candidates can participate in UCEED 2025 counseling using their results. The validity of the UCEED 2025 scorecard will last one year from the date of its issue.
IIT Bombay declared the results for the UCEED 2025 exam on March 07, 2025. The result was announced for candidates who took the exam held on January 19, 2025.

It is mandatory for candidates to get shortlisted to be included in the merit rank. Note that only such candidates who qualify Part A will get shortlisted.
IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A around the 2nd week of February 2025. All candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get shortlisted.
Further, only shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in the UCEED 2025 couneling process.
The results for the UCEED 2025 exam will be announced online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The direct result link will be provided in this article.
Note that the result will not be sent by post or any other means, including by email.

The results of UCEED 2025 will be declared on March 7, 2025. IIT Bombay will release the draft answer key on Janaury 21, 2025, while the FINAL key will be released on January 29, 2025.

The results for UCEED 2025 were declared on March 07, 2025, for all candidates by IIT Bombay. The UCEED 2025 exam was conducted on January 19, 2025.

The total score is determined based on marks obtained in Part A (objective-based) and Part B (drawing-based). A final merit list is prepared considering category-wise cutoffs.
Final Score Calculation Formula
Total Score = (Part A Score*Weightage)+ (Part B Score*Weightage)
- The weightage for Part A and Part B is determined by the exam conducting authorities (IIT Bombay).
- In previous years, Part A has been given more weightage than Part B.
Candidates are ranked based on their total score (Part A + Part B). Category-wise cutoffs are applied and the final rank list is prepared based on the highest scores and respective reservations.
Note that the Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A will be shortlisted and allocated a merit rank.
This means if the candidates fails to qualify Part A of UCEED 2025, they will not be issued any merit ranks. The scorecards of such candidates will merely includes Part A scores. In contrast, the screcards of shortlisted will include a merit rank, total and sectional scores. Further, all shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2025 and seat allotment.
The exam analysis for the UCEED 2025 exam will be made available on this page within a few minutes of the conclusion of the entrance exam. The exam analysis will include the following elements: section-wise and overall difficulty level, types of questions, topic-wise weightage, and expected cut-off. It will also notify candidates if any technical glitches were observed during the exam.
The candidate can go through the detailed analysis and compare their performance and thus access their chances of admission. Note that analysis done by leading coaching institutes will also be updated here.
IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am – 12 noon). The exam had two mandatory parts: the computer-based Part A and the offline Part B. The UCEED 2025 admission portal was uceed.iitb.ac.in, which hosted all key updates including the information brochure, eligibility criteria, syllabus, candidate portal, and downloadable resources like previous years' question papers and answer keys.
IIT Bombay will declare the results of the UCEED 2025 exam on March 7, 2025. However, the scorecards will be available for download only from March 10, 2025.
So, you will not be able to download the scorecard on result day.
The last date to download the scorecard is June 11, 2025.
The candidate needs to download and take a printout of the scorecard. Note that screen shots of the results will not be accepted in palce of the scorecard.

UCEED Result 2025 Tie-Breaker
In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, a tie-break policy is used for awarding UCEED 2025 ranks to candidates, as mentioned below:
- A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B.
- If the criterion given in (1) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
- If criteria (1) and (2) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
- If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
Candidates must note that securing a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission to the BDes course. Aspirants who make it to the UCEED merit list need to participate in a joint seat allocation process/counseling.

No, UCEED does not allow for re-evaluation or rechecking of scores as the evaluation process is carefully conducted and verified multiple times before the results are released.
Candidates who appeared for UCEED 2025 can download their Scorecards from the official UCEED website between March 10, 2025, and June 11, 2025. All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2025. The UCEED score is valid for one year and can only be used for admission in the academic session immediately following the exam.
IIT Bombay usually doesn't make any arrangements like baggage counters. So, it is a good idea for candidates not be bring any unnecessary stuff with them to the exam centre. Also, if the candidate has any doubts, he or she must go through the exam-day guidelines published by exam officials to check if any special arrangements are being made. Since it is unlikely that there will be a baggage counter, the candidate can not afford to bring valuable items and leave it unattended outside the exam hall. It is because if any valuable item is lost, IIT Bombay will not take any responsibility.
The UCEED 2025 exam will have two sections - Part A and Part B. While the syllabus has been revised for the exam, there are still some topics that overlap. For instance, Part A still continues to have the Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Observation and Design sensitivity, and a few other topics from the various edition. So, candidates can use the previous years papers to practice these topics. For the other topics, the candidate can try out sample papers.
In addition to the syllabus, IIT Bombay has also revised the UCEED 2025 exam pattern.
Part A will now have 57 questions (down from 68), while Part B will have two questions (instead of 1).
Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2025 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2025 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

The UCEED application process 2025 for BDes programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur started on March 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and will close on March 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM. To participate in UCEED 2025 counseling, the candidate has to meet the following conditions:
Age limit - The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2000
UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualifed in the UCEED 2025 exam.
Qualifying exam - The candidate must have passed all five subjects in 10+ 2 or an equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible.

UCEED 2023 question paper included a total of 68 questions. The section-wise questions asked in Part A was: NAT (18), MSQs (18), and MCQs (32). Part B included a solitary Drawing-based question. The section-wise difficulty level of UCEED 2023 is given below.

UCEED 2025 Rank List
The UCEED 2025 rank list is prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined) secured by candidates in the exam. All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2025.
It may be noted that only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each section of the exam and minimum total marks will be included in the UCEED 2025 rank list. The minimum marks that candidates belonging to different categories had to score overall and in each section of the exam are mentioned in the table below:

The candidate needs to ensure that they follows the prescribed spefications when uploading the documents. If the prescribed specification is not followed, either the candidate may face difficulty in uploding the documents or there is a chance the documents may be rejected and the candidate may be disqualified. Only such candidates who successfully complete the document verification process will be considered for admission to the B.Des program.

IIT Bombay doesn’t release any exam analysis for the UCEED exam. It simpy conducts the exam, and releases the draft and final answer keys. Consequently, no official analysis is available for the UCEED 2025 exam.

The UCEED 2025 application form may be filled by candidates seeking admission to the B. Des programme. Also, UCEED 2025 scores is not considered for admission to the M.Des programme. So, the candidates must instead fill out the application form for CEED 2025. Note that both the CEED and UCEED exams are conducted by IIT Bombay.
