The seat allotment will be provisional and will be confirmed by the admitting institutes only after the requisite fees are paid, the documents are duly verified, and their formalities are completed.
If any of the steps are left incomplete, the seat allotment can be cancelled.
In such a case, the vacant seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.
As per the information given in the UCEED 2025 information brochure, 10% of seats in every course will be reserved for Gen-EWS category.
Note that to apply under this category, you must meet the conditions given in the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated January 17, 2019 issued by the Ministry of Social
Justice and Empowerment.
When applying for UCEED 2025, you can select your category.
The evaluation of Part-B will be done manually by at least two expert evaluators separately and independently. Following is the scheme of evaluation for each question
in Part-B.
- If the difference in marks awarded by the two evaluators <= 10 marks, a simple average of the two evaluations will be considered.
- If the difference > 10 marks, the answer sheet of Part-B will be evaluated by a third expert examiner (and so on until the difference of marks <= 10).
- A simple average of the closest of two evaluations will be selected as the final marks.
- If the difference in marks of the closest of two evaluations is >10 after several evaluations, a moderator will be invited to examine the answers.
- If the difference in marks between the moderator and either of the examiners is the same, then the higher average will be considered for calculating the score.
The candidate has to pay the seat-acceptance fee only once. If the candidate is allotted another seat (because they chose the ‘float’ option), they aren't required to pay the fee again.
However, the seat-acceptance fee will have to be paid within the given deadline. Or else, the allotment will be cancelled.
