AEEE previous year question papers are not released by the Universiry on the website. However, candidates can check some sample papers/model papers and a few previous year question papers collected here. Solving previous years’ papers helps students to get accustomed to the marking scheme,  AEEE exam pattern, types of questions, weightage of chapters, etc. Students also get an idea of recurring topics over the years. This way aspirants can have an idea about the questions most likely to appear in the AEEE.

Q:   How to score well in AEEE?
A: 
  • Refer to Previous Years Question Papers and Attempt Mock Tests: The full proof method to score well in AEEE is to practice a lot of questions. Previpous year question papers, mock tests and sample papers are the best way to get access to questions. Solving questions will lead to improved speed and accuracy.
  • Solve As Many Numerical Problems as Possible: AEEE exam focuses on testing the candidates comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability. The questions asked in the three subjects of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics are of advanced level and focus on the application of the concepts rather than the concepts themselves.
  • Keep Track of Strengths and Weaknesses: For scoring perfect marks, candidates must be prepared perfectly as well. This means keeping an eye on their strengths and weaknesses and trying to avoid making the same mistake twice. Errors occur when one is unsure of himself/herself, and uncertainty is the last thing any candidate would want while attempting questions in the exam.

AEEE 2026 exam pattern has been released. Students can check the details of exam pattern below:

  • Questions are based on syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. 
  • There will be Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
  • Students can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Answers marked can be changed later, before final submission of all the answers.
  • 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer.

How to include the AEEE Sample Papers and Previous Year Papers in the study plan?

Following are a few tips with the help of which students can utilise the previous year papers for better preparation for the exam:

  • Try to include solving one paper daily in the study schedule
  • After completing a chapter, refer to a book that has related MCQs asked in previous years. This way, students can solve the previous year questions and revise the topic just learned

There is no such minimum marks criteria in AEEE. All the questions in AEEE are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers. 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.

Q:   Where can I check the AEEE answer key?
A: 

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham do not release any answer key after the AEEE exam is over. Once the AEEE CBT is held, mrita releases the scores of the exam with the AEEE result on the official website.

No, for unattempted question marks will not be deducted in Athe EEE 2026 exam. However, 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers.

Yes. A new section of 'Quantitative Aptitude' has been added to the AEEE syllabus. However, the syllabus for this section has not been mentioned by Amrita.
