DCET Application Form: Karnataka Examination Authority will release the DCET application form online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates have to complete registration, form-filling, upload documents and pay the fee to apply for the exam. Students must check the eligibility criteria before applying online. The application form for DCET is expected in April 2026. Only registered candidates will be able to appear for the DCET exam. KEA will also allow a form correction facility after the registration concludes. Candidates who make any mistakes while filling the form can make corrections during this period. Karnataka Examination Authority will soon release the DCET 2026 application form on the website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates have to complete registration, form-filling, fee-payment and uploading of documents to submit the DCET application form.

Q:   What are the documents required to be uploaded in DCET application form?
A: 

Karnataka Examination Authority will release the DCET 2025 application form online at the official website. Applicants looking for admissions need to upload certain documents at the time of filling DCET application form 2025. The documents required to be uploaded at the of DCET registration 2025 are provided below.

  • Left Thumb Impression 

Q:   Can a non-Karnataka student appear for DCET?
A: 

DCET exam is only for Karnataka-origin candidates who have studied for at least 10+ years with Karnataka Technical Education Board. The authorities will ask for proof at the time of registration. When the candidate fills the DCET application form ID which is provided by the Department Of Technical Education has to be uploaded. It will be verified if the student has studied in Karnataka for at least of 10+ years.

How to Fill DCET Application Form 2025

  • Go to the KEA website and click on the 'DCET-2025 Online Application' link. Fill in basic details and generate your application number.
  • Registered candidates have to pay the fee through a challan. For this, select a bank from the list of available banks, download the challan and make the payment in the respective bank.
  • Fill out the application form with personal, academic and contact details.
  • Upload scanned photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and parents' signatures.

Q:   What is the DCET application fee for SC/ST students?
A: 

DCET exam is for Karnataka-origin students. Students who belong to the SC/ST category have to pay INR 500 for the application form. The DCET application fee has to be paid while submitting the application form. The DCET application form will not be accepted without paying the fee. The application form fee can be paid in online mode. 

Q:   What is the mode of payment for filling out the DCET application form?
A: 

The DCET application fee can be paid through e-challan. A student has to select a bank, obtain the challan and make the payment at the bank.  The application fee is Rs 650 for general and Rs 500 for reserved category applicants.

DCET Application Form Correction Facility 2025

After the conclusion of the registration process, the Karnataka Examination Authority will commence the DCET application form correction facility online at the official website. Applicants who made any mistake at the time of filling DCET application form can rectify errors through the DCET application form correction facility. KEA will allow candidates to access the DCET correction facility 2025 from the login window. Applicants will be allowed to make changes in certain fields only. Changes in personal details like name, email ID, mobile number and others will not be allowed through the DCET correction facility 2025.

Changes to the submitted DCET application form can be made through the correction facility. The application form correction for DCET will be available for a limited time. No corrections will be allowed to the application form after this period.

No, applicants are not required to pay any fee for DCET application form correction. KEA will allow candidates to make correctios in DCET 2025 application form from the login window. Candidates must note that only certain details will be allowed to be edited at the time of correction facility. Changes in personal details like name, father name, date of birth and email ID will not be allowed.

What After DCET Application Process 2025?

After the DCET application form 2024 is filled out and submitted, the candidates can download the admit card. KEA release the DCET 2024 admit card on the official website. Details regarding the examination such as date, timings, allotted exam centre and more will be released through the admit card. Candidates will have to present the admit card at the DCET 2024 exam centres otherwise they will not be allowed to attempt the examination.
