Here I want to question you about one aspect of the admission process for universities abroad. Unlike indian universities admissions abroad are not based exclusively on the academic performance of the student but is based on the 360 degrees appraisal of the student. In view of this I would strongly advise you to approach an agency which is dealing with sending students abroad for graduation since these agencies are fully aware of different requirements that the students must meet for making a successful attempt. Getting admission in in directly second year of engineering wire lateral admission process is quite simple. you need to register yourself on the portal of the directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra. they will form a merit list based on the marks obtained by the students in their diploma examination and then based on this merit list the seats will be allotted to them in due course of time. however a student can perhaps seek admission directly in the deemed to be universities or private engineering colleges under their management quota seats.

As per the UGC guidelines, The distance B.E. /B.Tech is not valid for employment and higher education purpose. So never be pursue. AMIE, B.Tech lateral or Part time regular B.Tech are the best options.
