Q: When will the GATE 2025 registration start?
IIT Roorkee has REVISED the GATE 2025 application form dates. As per the revised schedule, GATE 2025 registrations had started on 28 August, 2024. The last date for GATE 2025 registration have been extended to October 3, 2024 (without late fees). Earlier, candidates had to submit the application form by 26 September 2024, with regular fees. Candidates will be able to submit the GATE 2025 application form with late fees until October 11, 2024 (extended).
Candidates can complete information by clicking on the given link: GATE 2025 Application form. To enroll for the GATE exam, candidates have to pay a requisite fee of INR 900 (for female/SC/ST/PWD candidates) and INR 1800 (for other candidates) during the regular period. A late fee of INR 500 is charged for candidates applying after October 3, 2024.

IIT Roorkee has released the exam dates for the GATE exam 2025. The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. GATE 2025 will be conducted in 2 shift a day mode. The registration window for the GATE 2025 Application without late fees was available till October 3, 2024. However, candidates can apply online through the official GATE 2025 GOAPS portal with a late fee until 11 October 2024 (extended). Candidates must only register and fill out the GATE 2025 application form online at the GATE 2025 website.
The last date for applying with a late fee is 11 October 2025 (11:59 pm). Candidates must pay the application fee through the payment gateways given in the GOAPS 2025 portal and fill in the application form before the closing date to avoid paying late fees.

Candidates who made a mistake during the online application form-filling process will be given a correction window to edit the details. The GATE 2025 Application Form Correction facility will start on November 6, 2024. Candidates can edit Paper and Examination City, add a new test paper, and change personal details such as Category, Name, etc. Candidates must regularly check the application status and rectify the defects if found.

GATE 2025: Admit Card Release Dates
The GATE 2025 Admit card will be released on January 2, 2025, on the official GATE 2025 website. The official notification will also announce the actual admit card release date.
Candidates must download and carry their GATE admit card in the exam hall, or else they will not be allowed to take part in the exam. Candidates must check all the details on the admit card. In case any defect is found, immediately inform the authorities using the contact details given.
GATE 2025: Answer Key Release Dates
The GATE 2025 Answer key will be released within 1-2 weeks after completing the GATE 2025 exam. Candidates can also avail response sheet before the release of the answer key via the GATE 2025 website. Candidates can match their responses with the GATE answer key & challenge against any question for a fee. Candidates must know that they need to pay fees for every question challenged.
The GATE 2025 portal will open a window of about a week for challenging the questions. After successfully analyzing the challenged questions and answers, a revised answer key will be released on the portal for final reference.
GATE 2025: Result Date
The GATE 2025 result will be announced on March 19, 2025. Candidates can check their GATE 2025 results at the GOAPS portal, by providing their enrollment ID and password. The scorecard of GATE 2025 will also be available on the portal.
GATE 2025 Scorecard Availability: The official GATE 2025 scorecard will be free from March 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025. Later, the scorecards will be available for download by paying a fee of INR 500 per test paper from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Only qualified candidates can view and download their scorecards. The GATE scorecard will be valid for three years from the publication date of the results.
