
GATE 2025 Question Papers: IIT Roorkee has activated the GATE 2025 result link at the GOAPS portal. The GATE 2025 question paper (official) is now available on the website. Candidates can check the previous year's GATE question paper through the portal. The last date to raise objections to the GATE 2025 answer key was March 1, 2025. Based on the objections submitted by the candidates, the authorities had released the GATE 2025 final answer key. The GATE 2025 scorecard was released on March 28 and is now available for download.

IIT Roorkee has revised the last date of the GATE 2025 application form. The last date to submit the application form with regular fees was October 3, 2024, and October 11, 2024 (with late fees). For more details candidates can visit: www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-application-form. Candidates can make the payment of the GATE application fee via through online banking/credit card/debit card/UPI.
IIT Roorkee has REVISED the GATE 2025 application form dates. As per the revised schedule, GATE 2025 registrations had started on 28 August, 2024. The last date for GATE 2025 registration have been extended to October 3, 2024 (without late fees). Earlier, candidates had to submit the application form by 26 September 2024, with regular fees. Candidates will be able to submit the GATE 2025 application form with late fees until October 11, 2024 (extended).

To enroll for the GATE exam, candidates have to pay a requisite fee of INR 900 (for female/SC/ST/PWD candidates) and INR 1800 (for other candidates) during the regular period. A late fee of INR 500 is charged for candidates applying after October 3, 2024.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern
The GATE 2025 exam pattern contains the number of questions, types of questions, and marking schemes for all 30 GATE papers. IIT Roorkee released the branch-wise exam dates on which the GATE 2025 exam was conducted on the scheduled dates.
In all the papers, there were a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying 15 will be of General Aptitude (GA). The papers bearing the codes AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MN, MT, PI, TF, XE, and Engineering Mathematics will carry around 15% of the total marks. The General Aptitude section comprised 15% of the total marks, and the remaining 70% was devoted to the paper's subject. In the papers bearing the codes AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, and XL, the General Aptitude section carried 15% of the total marks, and the remaining 85% was devoted to the paper's subject.
Since a candidate can appear in two papers out of the 30 papers for which the GATE 2025 exam was held, they had to choose the paper they wished to attempt carefully. A candidate is expected to appear in a paper appropriate to the discipline of his/her qualifying degree. However, he/she can choose any paper from the options available from the GATE two-paper combination (new and old) and GATE 2025 eligibility criteria. Registrations and correction facilities for the GATE exam are now over. How to Download GATE Previous Year Question Papers?
Candidates can download year-wise GATE question papers (2009- 2024) from the official website. Here are the steps below to download the GATE last 15 years sample papers -
- Visit the official website of GATE 2025 - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the "Download" option and select the required GATE question paper (year-wise) from the drop-down menu
- Check for the subject code and download the GATE question paper PDF
