Here are a few factors you may want to consider:
Interest and aptitude: Do you have a strong interest and aptitude for either mechanical engineering or GI? It's important to choose a course that aligns with your strengths and interests to ensure that you will be motivated to study and succeed in it. Future career prospects: Do you have a specific career in mind? It's important to research the career prospects and job opportunities for both fields before making a decision. Mechanical engineering has a wide range of career options such as designing, manufacturing, research and development, maintenance, and management, while GI can lead to careers in sectors like aviation, defense, and space exploration. Campus location and facilities: Do you have a preference for a particular campus location or facilities? West campus may be closer to your home or offer facilities that you prefer, while the main campus may have better infrastructure and resources. Availability of resources and opportunities: Are there any specific resources or opportunities that you are interested in, such as research opportunities, internships, or extracurricular activities? It's important to research what resources and opportunities are available in both campuses and fields. Ultimately, it's important to weigh the pros and cons of each option and make a decision that aligns with your goals and interests. You may want to talk to current students or alumni in both fields to get a better understanding of what the courses and campuses are like. Please upvote if it was helpful.

Here are some tips to help you get started:
Understand the exam format: The JEE consists of two papers JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is a computer-based test while JEE Advanced is a paper-pencil test. Both papers have multiple-choice questions, and JEE Advanced also has some numerical answer-type questions.
Create a study plan: Make a study plan that includes all the topics covered in the exam syllabus. Divide your time between learning new concepts and practicing problems. Allocate more time to the topics that you find challenging.
Focus on basics: Make sure you have a strong foundation in the basics of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. If you find any topic difficult, try to understand the underlying concepts thoroughly.
Practice regularly: Practice is key to succeeding in JEE. Solve as many problems as you can from different sources. Also, attempt previous year's papers to get an idea of the exam pattern and difficulty level.
Take mock tests: Take mock tests regularly to analyze your strengths and weaknesses. This will help you to identify the topics you need to work on and manage your time during the actual exam.
Time management: Learn to manage your time effectively during the exam. Allocate time wisely to each section and avoid spending too much time on any particular question.
Stay motivated: Stay motivated and positive throughout your preparation. Surround yourself with like-minded people who are also preparing for JEE. Seek help from your teachers or mentors whenever required. Remember, preparing for JEE requires consistent effort and dedication. Focus on understanding the concepts and practicing regularly to achieve your goal.

Typically, admission to the mechanical branch is more competitive and requires a higher rank than other branches. However, admission criteria may vary from institution to institution and also depend on the category you belong to. OBC category candidates may have some reservation in certain institutions, but the eligibility criteria and cutoff marks may still be high.
Therefore, I suggest that you check the eligibility criteria and admission requirements of the specific institution you are interested in and see if you meet the criteria. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you may have a chance of getting admission based on the availability of seats and the competition level.

Alternatively, you can contact the admission cell or the concerned department of the university for the latest information regarding the cutoff for the CSE branch for Muslim girls.

However, the exact cutoffs for admission to good government colleges vary from year to year and from college to college. To get an idea of the required percentage, you can check the cutoffs of previous years for the college and branch you are interested in. However, as a rough estimate, you can aim for AJEE Mains score of around 80-85 percentile or above to have a good chance of getting admission into a good government college. It's important to note that the competition is high and the cutoffs can vary each year, so it's recommended to prepare and score as high as possible to increase your chances of getting admission into a good government college.
