The CET Cell has not notified any exact date for release of MHT CET Answer key 2025. It is expected that the answer key will be available in the second week of May. The tentative MHT CET 2025 answer key date PCM and PCB is May 20.

The MHT CET admit card 2025 has been released for both PCM and PCB groups. The Maharshtra CET Cell released MHT CET hall ticket online on the website mahacet.org. Candidates will need to login to the website to download their admit card. MHT CET PCM group hall ticket was released on April 9 while PCB admit card on April 3.

The MHT CET 2025 exam date for engineering (PCM) and Pharmacy (PCB) groups have been announced. As per the schedule, MHT CET 2025 PCB exam date is April 9 to 17 and the MHT CET 2025 PCM exam date is April 19 to 27. The MHT CET admit card for PCM and PCB groups will be released tentatively in the first week of April.

As per the Maharashtra CET Cell, the difficulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Main. The exam conducting authority has stated that the exam will be quite similar to JEE Main in terms of difficulty level. Additionally, the difficulty level of Biology has been at par with NEET UG exam.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the difficulty level of MHT CET is moderate to difficult, with a slight edge towards being on the harder side. The syllabus of MHT CET 2025 is not same as JEE Main 2025. Candidates must note that MHT CET and JEE Main are two different exams meant for different purposes. MHT CET is conducted for admission to BTech courses in institutes of Maharashtra while JEE Main is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs across India. 

In terms of syllabus, although both MHT CET and JEE Main have class 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, there are some topics which are a part of JEE Main syllabus but not in CET. Also, the difficulty level of JEE is way ahead of MHT CET. Students preparing for any of these exams can download the syllabus from the Shiksha page.

There is no minimum qualifying marks in MHT CETs exam. Candidates gets all India rank in MHT CET on the basis of the score they get in the exam. Admission to the institutes is given on the basis of all India rank of candidates. After the release of result, Maharashtra CET Cell releases the merit list which is formulated by considering marks of class 12 and MHt CET. The merit list serves the purpose of admisison in the institutes.

The exam is open to all Indian nationals, including candidates from other states. However, please note that reservation policies are applicable only for candidates belonging to Maharashtra. Also, candidates from outside Maharashtra/All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT CET 2024 as Score of JEE Main is preferred over MHT CET for admission to BE/BTech course. 

To apply for MHT CET, candidates need to register online and fill out the application form. The application form will be released tentatively in February. MHT CET 2024 exam is likely to be held in May.

Maharashtra CET Cell conducts MHT CET exam only once a year in April/May. The details about exam date and registration process is released in January on the official website. The facility to raise objections in MHT CET answer key 2025 will open once the answer key is released. Candidates need to login to the official website mahacet.org using their registered email ID and password for raising the objection. After login, candidates will see the answers to all the questions given by the CET Cell as well as the answer marked by the candidate. If any candidate wish to raise the objection to any answer, they need to select the respective answer and click on the raise a dispute option. Candidates should note that they will also have to pay INR 1000 per question for raising the objection.

The facility to raise objections is not provided for the final answer key. The application form of MHT CET 2025 was released on December 30, 2024. The application form was available online on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates who are interested in applying for BTech admission in Maharashtra had to fill the application form and appear in the exam. Candidates are advised to keep checking this page for regular updated on the application dates as well as schedule of other important events related to the exam. The last date to apply without late fees was February 15 and with late fees, the registration last date was February 27.

As per the MHT CET eligibility criteria released by the MAHARASHTRA CET CELL, there is no age limit to apply for MHT CET. Candidates of any age can apply and appear in the MHT CETs exam. The only condition is that candidate should have passed class 12 or appearing in the exam on the year os apply for MHT CET.

The last date to apply for MHT CET 2025 was February 15, 2025 without late fees. With late fee, candidates MHT CET Application form 2025 last date was February 27, 2025.

MHT CET 2025 Registration started on December 30, 2024. MHT CET application form form was available online on the official website portal.mahacet.org. MHT CET 2025 exam date for engineering is April 19 to 27, 2025. For Pharmacy courses, the exam will be held from April 9 to 17, 2025.

To participate in the MHT CET counselling, candidates will need to upload the following documents at the time of registration.

The original copy of all the above listed documents will have to be uploaded while filling the counselling registration form and also have to be submitted to the institute for verification at the time of admission to the allotted institute.

The MHT CET counselling 2024 will start on July 14, 2024. The MHT CET counselling will be conducted by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. The counselling and seat allotment process will be done in three rounds. Candidates who have appeared in MHT CET or JEE Main can participate in the counselling for the allotment of seats in BTech courses in Maharashtra.

Candidates who have not appeared in MHT CET exam can participate in the counselling based on their JEE Main score, if appeared. Candidates who did not appeared either in JEE Main or MHT CET can participate in the counselling based on their class 12 percentage.

Admission in BTech courses in Maharashtra is given on the basis of three exams

• MHT CET
• JEE Main
• Class 12 Marks

A certain number of seats are reserved under Home-State quota and All India quota. All India quota seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main scores while Home-State quota seats are filled on through MHT CET scores. At the end of counselling/seat allotment on the basis of MHT CET and JEE Main, seats that remain vacant are filled on the basis of class 12 marks.

At the time of registration for MHT CET counselling, candidates need to provide the detail of applying for admission on the basis of JEE Main/MHT CET or class 12.
