GATE exam is conducted only once a year to offer admissions to master's and PhD programs at top institutions, such as IITs and NITs. Q:   Is Karnataka PGCET an online CBT exam or an offline pen and paper-based exam?

KEA conducts Karnataka PGCET as an offline exam using the OMR input system. Candidates have to attempt the exam in pen and paper mode at the designated exam centre. Candidates need to0 mark the answers in an OMR sheet provided at the test centre. Each question will have options. The most appropriate option will have to be selected and candidates have to mark the bubble corresponding to the most appropriate answer. For example if the answer to question 2 is C, then the bubble C has to be darkened.

Yes. The JEECUP 2025 syllabus will be different for every group. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus of their particular group carefully. The detailed JEECUP syllabus for every group will be available online at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. For Engineering admissions, the candidates will have to study topics and units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus will be similar to the topics studied by the candidates for the Class 12 standard qualifying examination. 

Q:   How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?
A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side.
