VITEEE 2024 seat allotment for Phase 5 (Ranks above 1,00,000) is now available online at vit.ac.in. The allotment of seats for VITEEE 2024 counselling has been done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. The selected candidates will have to confirm their admissions by paying the required fee before the final date. If the candidates fail to confirm their payment, then their allotment will be cancelled. Q:   Where can I check the VITEEE 2024 counselling dates?

A:

The authorities have announced the VITEEE counselling 2024 dates. The candidates can now access the VIT 2024 counselling registration link online at vit.ac.in. The process is being conducted separately as per the ranks obtained by the candidates in VITEEE 2024. All candidates will have to participate in the counselling process as per the ranks that they have secured. Before registering for the counselling process, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. 

 

Q:   How many rounds of VITEEE counselling will be held?

A:

The authorities are conducting VITEEE 2024 counselling in different phases. The candidates will be allocated the counselling dates as per the ranks that they will obtain in VITEEE 2024. Therefore, the candidates are advised to carefully check the dates before participating in the counselling process. The authorities will conduct five rounds of counselling. Fresh registrations and choice filling will be accepted for every round. Candidates will be allotted as per their rank, preferences and seat availability. 

 

Q:   When will the classes commence for the qualified VITEEE 2024 candidates?

A:

The authorities have announced the tentative dates for the commencement of classes for the VITEEE 2024 qualified candidates. After the counselling process is over, the classes are expected commence in the 3rd week of July 2024 for all of the candidates who have been allotted into the BTech courses offered by the campuses. Important information and details will be sent to the allotted candidates by the authorities. 

 

Q:   What is the VITEEE 2024 result date?

A:

VITEEE 2024 result has been announced. Candidates can now access the VIT 2024 result online at vit.ac.in. No other mode will be used to release the VITEEE result 2024. The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination are available in the VITEEE result 2024. The authorities will not accept any objections against the result of VITEEE 2024. 

 

VITEEE 2024 Counselling - Rank-wise Eligibility

VIT have their separate BTech admission eligibility criteria for different campuses. The candidates must meet the below-given eligibility to apply for courses offered by their preferred campus.

  • Candidates with a rank between 1 and 1,00,000 in VITEEE 2024 will be eligible to take part in counselling for admission in Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal (MP)/VIT-AP.
  • Candidates who will be ranked above 1,00,000 will be eligible for admissions only in VIT AP and VIT Bhopal.

Q:   Is it possible to get admission in the Vellore campus of VIT with 10822 rank in VITEEE?

A:

Yes. You can apply for admissions into the VIT Vellore campus with a rank of 10822 in VITEEE. Candidates with a rank between 1 and 1,00,000 will be eligible for admissions into the VIT Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal/Andhra Pradesh campuses. However, candidates with a rank above 1,00,000 will not be eligible for Vellore and Chennai campuses. These candidates can apply for admissions into the Bhopal and Andhra Pradesh campuses. 

 

Q:   Which ranks are eligible for admission into VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses?

A:

Candidates who have secured a rank upto 1 Lacs will be eligible for B.Tech admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai. The counselling dates for different ranks varies as per the authorities. For those candidates with a rank above 1 Lacs, admissions will be open only for VIT Bhopal and VIT Andhra Pradesh. They will not be eligible for VIT Vellore and Chennai admissions.

 

Q:   Can a student participate in the VITEEE counselling more than once?

A:

No, the candidates will not be permitted to participate in the VITEEE counseling more than once. During the counselling process, the candidates will have to report as per the date allotted to their rank. If the candidates are not satisfied with their allotment, then they will be able to participate in the next round of VIT counselling. The official dates for VITEEE 2024 counselling as per the ranks will be announced soon online at vit.ac.in.

VITEEE 2024 Counselling Process

VITEEE 2024 counselling/seat allocation will be conducted as per the ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. All eligible candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the campuses. The detailed VITEEE 2024 counselling procedure is mentioned below:

  • Payment of counselling fee - In the first step, the candidates will have to visit vit.ac.in and click on the VIT 2024 counselling registration link. After logging in, the candidates will have to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 5,900 (inclusive of GST). Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The payment has to be done before the due date specified for each phase of counselling. If the candidates are unable to make the payment, then they will not be allowed to attempt the examination.
  • Choice filling - Next, the registered candidates will have to fill in their choice of course and campus online. The choice filling has to be done in the order of preference. Candidates are advised to select more than 25 choices to have a higher chance of allotment in their preferences. The candidates need to select their choice of course and campus as per their preference since it will be considered for the VIT 2024 seat allotment.

Q:   What are the choice filling dates for VITEEE 2024 counselling?

A:

The authorities have released the choice filling dates for VITEEE 2024 counselling process. Candidates will be able to access the VIT 2024 counselling choice filling link online at vit.ac.in. After registration, the candidates will have to fill out their choice of colleges and campuses in the order of preference on the dates that will be allotted to their obtained rank. Candidates are advised to check the counselling schedule carefully and fill out their choices only on their allotted dates. 

 

Q:   Will VITEEE 2024 counselling be held in online mode?

A:

Yes. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2024 counselling as an online process. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the preferred courses and campuses. During the VIT 2024 counselling process, the candidates will have to register and complete the choice filling process. The authorities will announce the VITEEE 2024 seat allotment result online and the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to check their allotment result.

 

Q:   Can I pay the VITEEE counselling fee through e-challan?

A:

Candidates will have to pay the VITEEE 2024 counselling online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. After allotment, the candidates will be required to pay the advance fee payment until the provided final date. Then the candidates will have to pay the balance tuition fee. The payment has to be done through the online portal provided by the authorities.

 

Q:   What is the registration process for VITEEE 2024 counselling?

A:

VITEEE 2024 counselling registration process is now open online at vit.ac.in. To register for the counselling of VIT 2024, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. After the candidates check their rank obtained in the entrance exam, the candidates will have to carefully read all of the counselling guidelines and instructions before proceeding. The candidates will have to participate in the counselling process as per their obtained ranks and the respective timelines. VITEEE 2024 Seat Allotment

VITEEE 2024 seat allotment result has been declared online for Phase 5 counselling. Candidates can check their VIT 2024 seat allotment status by logging in with their application number and password. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment result. Allotment of seats will be done as per the candidate's obtained VIT 2024 rank, preferences, and seat availability. To confirm their admission, the candidates will have to pay the tuition fee before the final date. If the candidates are not able to confirm their allotment before the final date, then their admission will be cancelled.

Q:   When will VITEEE 2024 seat allotment result be announced?

A:

VITEEE 2024 seat allotment result for Phase 5 has been announced. Candidates can access their VIT 2024 seat allotment result online at vit.ac.in by logging in using the required credentials. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. All of the allotted candidates will have to confirm their admissions before the final date. Separate seat allotment result will be announced for different rounds.

 

Q:   Are candidates allowed to change their branch after confirming their previously allotted seats in VITEEE counselling?

A:

After the candidates have confirmed their allotted seats and paid the fee during the VITEEE 2024 counselling, they will not be allowed to change their branch and campus under any circumstances. The authorities will not entertain any requests for a change of campuses or courses from the candidates. Since the candidates will be given enough time after allotment to make their decision, they are advised to carefully consider their decision. 

 

Q:   How will the candidates be allotted seats during the VITEEE counselling process?

A:

Candidates will be required to fill out and submit their choice of courses and campuses in the order of preference during the VITEEE 2024 counselling. The candidates are advised to select as many preferences as possible, so that they are able to be allotted to their preferred course and campus. Allotment of seats will be done as per the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status online at vit.ac.in.

The following documents in original are required to be submitted at the time of admission. If the candidates are not able to submit the documents within the allotted timeline, then their allotment will be cancelled.

  • Provisional Admission letter (photocopy)
  • VITEEE 2024 admit card
  • VITEEE 2024 counselling letter
  • VITEEE 2024 result
  • Class X Board Certificate as proof of date of birth or any other age proof certificate
  • Qualifying examination mark statements of all attempts
  • Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (if issued by the board)
  • Community Certificate (For SC/ST only)
  • Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)
  • Student Profile (if not submitted at the time of counselling)

Q:   Which documents are required during the VITEEE counselling?

A:

During the VITEEE 2024 admission confirmation process, the allotted candidates will be required to submit documents to the authorities for verification. If the candidates are unable to submit the documents before the final date, then they will not be allowed to take admission. Therefore, all candidates are advised to keep two photocopies of the documents ready for the VIT 2024 counselling process.

Q:   How do I know if my documents have been submitted during the VITEEE 2024 counselling?

A:

Candidates will be able to check their VITEEE 2024 counselling status online at vit.ac.in. The authorities will inform the candidates in case any problems arise in the document uploading process. Candidates are advised to be careful while uploading the documents as they will have to meet the specifications mentioned by the official authorities. The documents which do not meet the official specifications will not be accepted by the authorities.

 

Q:   What if a candidate cannot report for the VITEEE counselling on the assigned date?

A:

The authorities will conduct the VITEEE 2024 counselling process online. Therefore, all candidates are required to participate in the VITEEE counselling process for admissions. The authorities will not accept any requests for change in the date/time of the counselling. Once the candidates are allotted, they will have to pay the required fee and report to their allotted campus. In case the candidates are unable to report to their allotted institute before the final date, then their admission will be cancelled.

To get into VIT, Vellore campus for B.Tech CSE, your rank should be under 6000. It means you need to score more than 81 to fall under 6000 rank. The counselling for VITEEE is going on.

The fee for CSE is INR 7.8 Lakh. A total of 1080 seats are available for this course.

No, you cannot get admission to CSE branch with this rank. You can get admission to ECE, ME, and Civil Engineering easily.
