The authorities has commenced the VITEEE 2025 counselling registration process. The official VITEEE 2025 counselling dates has been released at vit.ac.in. The process will be conducted separately as per the ranks obtained by the candidates in VITEEE 2025. All candidates will have to participate in the counselling process as per the ranks that they have secured. Before registering for the counselling process, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. 

Yes. The authorities will conduct VITEEE counselling as an online process. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the preferred courses and campuses. During the VIT counselling process, the candidates will have to register and complete the choice filling process. The authorities will announce the VITEEE seat allotment result online and the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to check their allotment result.

VITEEE 2025 admit card was released online. The authorities released the VITEEE 2025 hall ticket 48 hours before the booked exam slot.  After downloading the admit card, the candidates had to check it carefully for any mistakes. While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will be required to bring certain important documents for verification. Along with the VITEEE admit card, the candidates will have to present their original valid identity proof. Candidates who have secured a rank upto 1 Lacs will be eligible for B.Tech admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai. The counselling dates for different ranks varies as per the authorities. For those candidates with a rank above 1 Lacs, admissions will be open only for VIT Bhopal and VIT Andhra Pradesh. They will not be eligible for VIT Vellore and Chennai admissions.

VITEEE is a highly competitive examination. Every year, it is expected that over 2-3 Lacs students appear for VITEEE. No. There is no domicile requirement for VITEEE. All candidates will be able to apply for the entrance examination, if they have met the basic eligibility criteria. VITEEE is open for all eligible candidates belonging to any state. Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holder candidates will also be eligible for admissions.

While filling out the VITEEE application form, the candidates will be required to pay the fee. All Indian nationals will have to pay INR 1,350 (inclusive of GST) as the VIT application fee. The payment of the application fee has to be done online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. The authorities will not accept any other mode of payment. For test cities abroad, the VITEEE application fee is 90 USD, to be paid through credit card.

Yes. Candidates will be able to skip questions while attempting the VITEEE mock test. The skipped questions will be marked white in the question palette of the mock test. Candidates will be able to return to the skipped questions and attempt it later during the exam. However, the questions have to be answered within the allotted examination duration. Through the mock test of VIT 2025, the candidates will be able to prepare for the upcoming entrance exam. Yes. During the VITEEE mock test, the candidates will be able to navigate the sections. As per the VITEEE exam pattern, the paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will have four options and the candidates will be required to select the correct response. It is to be noted that the VIT cutoff for the reserved categories may be lesser than the general category. Allotment of seats will be done based on the applicable cutoff and preferences submitted during the VIT counselling. 

The authorities do not release the VITEEE cutoff online. If the candidate has secured above 118 marks, they are likely to be ranked between 1 to 250. Marks 113 - 117 (Rank 251 to 500), 90 - 113 (Rank 501 to 2,500), 81 - 90 (Rank 2,501 to 5,000), 72 - 81 (Rank 5,001 to 6,500), 60 - 72 (Rank 6,501 to 8,500), 43 - 60 (Rank 8,501 to 11,000), 31 - 43 (Rank 14,001 to 20,000) and Less than 31 marks (Rank 20,001 to Last Rank).

Yes. VIT offers various scholarship opportunities to candidates with a bright academic record. Under the give School Development Programme (GVSDP), the toppers of each state and central board are given a 100% tuition fee waiver for all four years. VITEEE rank holders of 1 to 10 will also be provided with 100% tuition fee waiver for all four years. Similarly, rank holders of 11 to 50, 51 to 100 and 101 to 500 will be given 75, 50% and 25% tuition fee waiver for four years, respectively.

The authorities have not yet released the choice filling dates for VITEEE 2025 counselling process. Candidates will be able to access the VIT 2025 counselling choice filling link online at vit.ac.in. After registration, the candidates will have to fill out their choice of colleges and campuses in the order of preference on the dates that will be allotted to their obtained rank. No. The authorities will not deduct any marks for unattempted questions in the VITEEE paper. The questions will just be seen as unanswered and not taken into account. The candidates will also not experience negative marking for VITEEE. No marks will be deducted for wrong answers, so the candidates are encouraged to answer as many questions as they can in the paper. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded one mark.

No. If the candidates meet the VIT cutoff, then they will not be guaranteed admission. Candidates will have to answer 125 multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics Chemistry Aptitude and English . The total duration of the mock test will be 2 hours 30 minutes. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. For every correct answer, 1 mark will be provided. There will be no negative marking. Candidates will be able to check their correct and incorrect responses and accordingly prepare for the entrance examination.

No. Offline payment were not accepted for the VITEEE 2025 application fee. To make the payment, the candidates had to use the online method i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment were accepted by the authorities. If the candidates failed to make the payment before the final date, then their application was not accepted and they will not be allowed to participate in the entrance exam.

Candidates are required to scan and upload their passport size photograph and signature in the VITEEE application form according to the specifications mentioned by the authorities. If the specified dimensions, size and file types are not met, then the photograph and signature will be rejected while uploading.
