RRB NTPC CBT 1 city intimation slip 2025 has been released for Graduate Posts. Registered candidates can download RRB NTPC city intimation slip by logging with the required credentials. RRB NTPC city intimation slip comprises details related to the allotted test cities.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card for graduate posts is being issued from June 1, 2025. The admit card is released on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. The application fees is accepted only online. RRBs have withdrawn the facility to pay the application form offline. RRB NTPC application form 2024 was released on September 14, 2024. The application fees can be paid from October 21 to 22, 2024. The application fee is INR 500 for general category applicants, while it is INR 250 for Women, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen.

RRBs reject the RRB NTPC application form if the photographs of candidates are not valid. The photograph should be in JPEG format and the size of photograph should be between 30-70KB. Candidates are advised to upload their photographs correctly to avoid rejection in the application form. The photograph should be uploaded as per the specifications prescribed by the examination authority. The reasons for rejection of RRB NTPC application are given below:

• Invalid photos on account of Black and White photo, photo with cap or wearing Goggles. Photos which are disfigured, small size, full body, showing only one side view of the face, unrecognizable photos, photostatcopy of photo, group photo,
  selfie photo, photo taken by mobile, morphed photo and online application without photo among others.
  Signature in capital/block letters
• Not possessing the prescribed qualification for the post(s) as on the closing date of registration
• Over-aged or under-aged or Date of Birth wrongly filled
• Multiple applications to different RRBs or to same RRB. In such case, all applications will be rejected and such candidates will be debarred from future RRB/RRC exams
• Candidate's name figuring in the debarred list of any RRB/RRC
• Incomplete or incorrectly filled application
• Any other irregularities which are observed and considered as invalid by RRB

In RRB NTPC registration form, candidates need to enter their name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, Aadhaar number, SSLC/Matric roll number, year of passing, mobile number and email-ID. RRB NTPC age limit for candidates applying for the undergraduate level posts should be 18 to 33 years. The age limit for graduate-level posts is 18 to 36 years. RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for various non-technical level posts in Indian Railways. The educational qualification is prescribed by RRBs for undergraduate and graduate posts. The educational qualification for undergraduate posts is that candidates must have Class 12 from any recognised board. RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT is done at the rate of 15 times the vacancies. The short listing for Computer Based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test is done to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT. When a candidate is qualified in 1st stage CBT & shortlisted for subsequent stages as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD he/she will continue to be.

RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT is done at the rate

Yes, there is a minimum qualifying cut off in RRB NTPC exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent. • The evaluation of the passage typed by the candidate will be done as follows:
• The mistakes will be classified as full mistakes and half mistakes. 5 per cent mistakes of the total words typed may be ignored. Accordingly, the total number of mistakes will be calculated as under:

• The typing speed of the candidate will be worked out by the following formula:
• Typing Speed= No. of total words typed – (Final count of mistake x 10)/Time

The Computer-Based Aptitude Test is conducted for Station Master and Traffic Assistant while Typing Skill Test is held for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper. The shortlisting for Skill Tests such as the Computer-based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test is done 8 times the number of vacancies based on the merit of second stage CBT. The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This applies to all candidates irrespective of community or category and no relaxation in the minimum T- Score is permissible. The CBAT will have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi There will be no negative marking in CBAT. Merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the CBAT, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in CBAT.

RRB NTPC cut off is calculated based on the following factors:

• The number of candidates appearing in the exam plays a major role in deciding the cutoff marks. If the number of candidates appearing in the exam is high, then the cutoff increases
• The difficulty level of the exam is another determining factor for RRB NTPC cutoff marks evaluation. If the exam is difficult, then the cutoff is low
• The number of vacancies decides the zone-wise cutoff marks. If the number of vacancies in a particular zone of RRB is more, then the cutoff marks are low

RRB NTPC cut off is calculated based on the normalised scores. This process is followed to adjust the difficulty level of questions since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The scores are normalised using the equi-percentile method. For eg: If the negative marking is 1/3 and candidates have answered 80 questions, out of which 12 were wrong, then the raw score will be 80-12-12 * (1/3) = 64. Therefore, 64 is the raw score.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 cut off is released based on the marks scored in General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The cutoff for CBT 1 is calculated out of 100 marks. 

RRB NTPC Cut off for CBT 2

RRB NTPC CBT 2 cut off is calculated out of 120 marks. Candidates who will secure RRB NTPC Cut off in CBT 2 are shortlisted for document verification, Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (As per the posts).

RRB NTPC Cut off for CBAT

This stage is conducted for Station Master (SM)/Traffic Assistant (TA) posts. Candidates eight times the number of vacancies based on their performance in CBT 2 are shortlisted for this stage. The qualifying marks prescribed for this stage are 42 which candidates need to secure in each test battery. To shortlist candidates for document verification, the examination authority will fix the cut-off marks for this stage.

RRB NTPC Cut off for Typing Skill Test (TST)

The typing skill test is conducted for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST) posts. To qualify for this stage, candidates need to secure the cutoff marks.

Candidates are called for document verification based on their performance in CBT 2 and CBAT/TST (as per the posts). RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary for undergraduate posts ranges between INR 19,900 to 21,700. RRB NTPC salary for graduate posts ranges between INR 25,500 to 35,400. RRB NTPC salary for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk is INR 21,700. RRB NTPC salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900. The basic salary of RRB JE is INR 35,400. The pay band for this post is INR 35,400-1,12,400 and the grade pay is INR 4200. The basic RRB NTPC salary for 12th pass posts ranges between INR 19,900 to 21,700 (varies as per posts). The basic RRB NTPC salary for graduate posts ranges between INR 25,500-35,400 (varies as per posts).. .

The undergraduate posts are Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, and Trains Clerk. RRB NTPC salary structure for undergraduate posts is given below. Under RRB NTPC undergraduate-level posts, the maximum salary is offered to the post of Commercial cum Ticket Clerk. Under the graduate-level posts, the maximum salary is offered to Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. The starting basic salary for undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. RRB NTPC salary for graduate posts is INR 25,500 to 35,400.

The full form of NTPC is Non Technical Popular Categories. This exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board to appoint candidates as Commercial Apprentice, Goods guard, Traffic Apprentice, Traffic Assistant, Assistant Station Master, etc. All over India. The eligibility criteria prescribed for RRB NTPC is given below: Age limit: The age limit for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for graduate posts is 18 to 33 years. Educational qualification: For undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12. RRB NTPC Salary Railway Recruitment Board decides RRB NTPC salary structure. The basic pay of RRB NTPC Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19900 per month. RRB conducts the RRB NTPC exam to recruit candidates for various vacancies in the Indian Railways.

The Indian Railways hold the RRB NTPC examination for non-technical positions. The exam is currently being conducted in four stages for more than 35,000 vacancies in railways. 1. The highest cutoff typically goes to the senior clerk/typist post because of the position's popularity at Level 2. 2. With this job, you can work in the division's DRM office and balance your work and personal lives better. Your work will be office-based with no field visits and a fixed holiday. 3. After this post, station masters and commercial apprentices are preferred in Level 6. These posts offer a comparatively better salary and supervisory authority. 4. The salary of both posts is Rs. 35400 per month, whereas the salary of the senior clerk/typist is just Rs. 29,200 per month. 5. The senior clerk/typist is the best option in levels 2 and 3, which are for the 12th grade. The Station Master or Commercial Apprentice is the best option for a graduate-level post among levels 4, 5, and 6.

RRB NTPC vacancies are announced depending upon the requirements of the concerned departments in Indian Railways. According to government notification, there will be no interviews at the Group C and Group D level post recruitment. The RRB NTPC recruits for Group C level posts in railways; there will be no interviews for the RRB NTPC at levels 2, 3,4,5, and 6. The selection process for NTPC is as follows: 1. First Stage Computer Based Test, 2. Second-stage computer-based test 3. The third stage is a typing skill test or a computer-based aptitude test, depending on the post. 4. Finally, document verification and a medical examination will be done after shortlisting aspirants.

RRB Group D is the entry-level job in the Indian railway while RRB NTPC comes under the category of group C jobs, which are next to Group D posts. For RRB Group D posts, the educational qualification required is a Class 10th pass. For RRB NTPC undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12th. RRB NTPC admit card is released on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. You need to download their admit cards from the region they have applied for. To download the admit card, you need to enter user ID and password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to you. RRB NTPC admit card is an important document without which you cannot appear for the exam. The topics are basically Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation levels, keeping in view the nature of the post.
