RRB NTPC 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) released RRB NTPC admit card 2025 for the June 15, 2025, exam. Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) CBT 1 admit card can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials. Railway NTPC CBT 1 exam for Graduate Posts is being conducted till June 24, 2025. According to the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam analysis 2025, the overall difficulty level of the exam held till date was moderate

RRB NTPC exam dates 2025 for Undergraduate Posts have been announced. The exam will be conducted from June 29 to July 21, 2025. RRB NTPC hall ticket will be made available from June 25 onwards. RRB NTPC city intimation slip will be released from June 19 onwards.

RRB NTPC 2025 exam recruitment is being conducted to fill up a total of 11558 vacancies. A total of 12,167,679 applications were received for RRB NTPC exam. Q:   My RRB NTPC application form has been rejected due to invalid photograph. What should I do?
A: 

RRBs reject the RRB NTPC application form if the photographs of candidates are not valid. The photograph should be in JPEG format and the size of photograph should be between 30-70KB. Candidates are advised to upload their photographs correctly to avoid rejection in the application form. The photograph should be uploaded as per the specifications prescribed by the examination authority. The reasons for rejection of RRB NTPC application are given below:

  • Invalid photos on account of Black and White photo, photo with cap or wearing Goggles. Photos which are disfigured, small size, full body, showing only one side view of the face, unrecognizable photos, photostatcopy of photo, group photo,
    selfie photo, photo taken by mobile, morphed photo and online application without photo among others.
    Signature in capital/block letters
  • Not possessing the prescribed qualification for the post(s) as on the closing date of registration
  • Over-aged or under-aged or Date of Birth wrongly filled

This facility is available only to SC/ST candidates. While filling up online RRB NTPC application form, such candidates, should choose ‘Yes’ from the drop down under ‘Do you wish to avail free rail travel pass for the exam and fill up ‘Nearest Railway Station’. RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for various non-technical level posts in Indian Railways. The educational qualification is prescribed by RRBs for undergraduate and graduate posts. There are two stage Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by Computer based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable. The Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master and the Typing Skill Test is held for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist. For Goods Train Manager, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, there is only two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination. RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT is done at the rate of 15 times the vacancies. The short listing for Computer Based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test is done to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT. When a candidate is qualified in 1st stage CBT & shortlisted for subsequent stages as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD he/she will continue to be.

The exam is conducted for recruitment to the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master. The selection of Station Master and Traffic Assistant comprises CBT 1, 2, CBAT, document verification, and medical exam. The selection of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper comprises CBT 1, 2, Typing Skill Test, document verification, and medical exam. The selection process for the post of Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice comprises CBT 1, 2 followed by document verification and medical examination. 

Q:   Does RRB NTPC also conduct interviews for level 2,3,4,5 and 6?

According to government notification, there will be no interviews at the Group C and Group D level post recruitment. The RRB NTPC recruits for Group C level posts in railways; there will be no interviews for the RRB NTPC at levels 2, 3,4,5, and 6. The selection process for NTPC is as follows: 1. First Stage Computer Based Test, 2. Second-stage computer-based test 3. The third stage is a typing skill test or a computer-based aptitude test, depending on the post. 4. Finally, document verification and a medical examination will be done after shortlisting aspirants.

A: 
RRB Group D is the entry-level job in the Indian railway while RRB NTPC comes under the category of group C jobs, which are next to Group D posts. For RRB Group D posts, the educational qualification required is a Class 10th pass. For RRB NTPC undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12th.
