SSC Application Form 2025, Registration: Know How to Apply Online @ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL 2025 notification on June 9, 2025 on its official website. The candidates will get less than a month to fill out the SSC CGL 2025 applications. The last date to apply for the SSC CGL online application 2025 is July 4, 2025. The SSC CGL 2025 application correction facility will be available from July 9 to 11, 2025.

The SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam will be conducted from 13 August to 30 August 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CHSL Tier 1 application form on June 23, 2025. The Commission will release the SSC CHSL 2025 notification on the same date. The Commission released these dates in its official exam calendar for 2025-26. The last date to apply online for the SSC CHSL 2025 will be July 18, 2025. The Commission will conduct the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam 2025 from September 8 to 18, 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC MTS online applications on June 26, 2025, with the release of official notification. The Commission will provide 30 days to fill out the SSC MTS 2025 online applications.

The last date to apply online for the SSC MTS 2025 exam will be July 24, 2025.

The SSC GD apply online 2026 link will be activated by the Commission in October 2025, along with the release of official notification. The Commission will release the official notification and application form for the SSC GD 2026 session on its official website. Candidates are required to fill out the SSC GD Constable application form 2026 in order to appear for the exam. The SSC GD last date 2026 to fill out the online form will be of November 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission activated the SSC CGL 2025 online application link with the release of official notification at ssc.gov.in. The candidates are advised to read and understand the eligibility conditions and the important dates mentioned in the official SSC CGL notification 2025. Candidates do not need to upload scanned images of their photographs on the SSC CHSL application form 2024. The new application module on the website- ssc.gov.in captures live photos of candidates. For capturing SSC CHSL live photo, candidates need to have a webcam on a computer/ laptop or an Android device for capturing live photo. Candidates need to fulfill the following requirements for live photo.

• Find a place with good light and plain background.
• Camera should be at eye level.
• Position yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight.
• Do not wear a cap, mask, glasses or spectacles.

However, candidates need to upload the scanned image of their signature on the form.

SSC CPO 2025 application form will be released on June 16, 2025. Interested candidates can fill out their application forms till July 7, 2025. Only online applications will be accepted for the exam. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of their application forms. The application fees can be paid online. 

The SSC GD apply online 2026 link will be released along with the official notification in October 2025. Candidates will be given over 30 days to fill out the SSC GD application form 2026. It is compulsory for candidates to fill out the online SSC GD application form 2026 in order to appear for the exam. The last date to apply online for the SSC GD Constable 2026 exam will be in November 2025.

No, the SSC CGL application fee, once paid is non-refundable. The fee once paid cannot be refunded at any point in time. The Commission mentioned that the application fee will not be refunded even when the candidates withdraw their applications. The Commission does not refund the application fee under any condition. There is no provision provided for the refund of application fee. Such facility was provided by UPSC earlier under the application withdrawal scheme.

Candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree can apply for the SSC CGL exam. The Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for the exam. The candidates who are in the last year of their graduation can apply for the exam under the 'result awaited category' but they need to acquire their graduation degree before the last date of application which is considered as the cutoff date. There is no bar of minimum percentage in the Graduation exam. Candidates with any percentage can apply for the SSC CGL exam. The Commission provides a level playing field to all the candidates.

As per the revised exam calendar, the SSC CGL 2025 will be conducted from August 13 to 30, 2025.

Once all the details are filled in, candidates can click on the Save button to proceed further.

The SSC CHSL application fee 2024 is different for reserved and unreserved category candidates. General category candidates need to pay INR 100 as the application fee for the exam. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories and women candidates of all categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

The Commission activated the SSC MTS Havaldar 2024 apply online link with the release of official notification. The SSC MTS 2024 Notification was released on June 27, 2024. The last date to apply for the exam is August 3 now. The SSC MTS 2024 application correction dates as mentioned in the official notification are August 16 and 17. The candidates can see here the steps to apply online for the SSC MTS exam: Once successfully registered, candidates were re-directed to the SSC MTS application window. Thereafter, candidates could follow the below-mentioned steps to fill the SSC MTS application form:

The Commission activated the SSC MTS 2024 apply online link with the release of official notification. The last date to apply for the SSC MTS 2024 exam was extended by the Commission and the last date to apply online for the SSC MTS 2024 is August 3 now. The Staff Selection Commission will also provide the facility for SSC MTS 2024 application correction on August 16 and 17.

The Staff Selection Commission also increased the SSC MTS vacancies from 8,326 to 9,593 vacancies. The SSC MTS 2024 exam is expected to be conducted in October/November 2024.

The candidates will be required to pay the SSC MTS application fee with the online application. The Commission accepts the SSC MTS application fee in online as well as in offline mode through bank challan. The candidates are required to pay the SSC MTS application fee. The details of the category-wise application fee are given below:

The SSC MTS Havaldar application correction facility 2024 will be available on August 16 and 17. The candidates will be required to submit the application correction fee to avail this facility. The candidates will be required to submit the application correction fee of INR 250 for the first time editing. For second editing, the candidates will be required to submit the fee of INR 500 for secodn editing. The second editing will be considered as final. The Commission will considered the finally submitted application only.

The SSC MTS 2024 will be condicted in October/November 2024.

Candidates can apply online for the SSC GD Exam through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates can fill out the SSC GD application form by following the given steps:

• Visit the official SSC website- ssc.nic.in.
• Click on SSC GD application link
• Complete the SSC GD online registration form
• Upload the scanned photo and signature
• Fill out the SSC GD application form
• Pay the SSC GD application fee
• Submit and save the confirmation page.

Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognised Board/ University to apply for the SSC GD exam. Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible to fill the SSC GD application form. The result of requisite educational qualification should be declared by the Board/ Institute/ University by the specified date.

Yes. Registration is mandatory for applying to SSC CPO exam. Before filling SSC CPO application form, candidates need to complete the one-time registration. On completion of one time registration, candidates can apply online for any examination of the Commission. One-time registration forms a permanent database for candidates. The unique registration ID and password can be used by candidates for all the examination. This facility is available for candidates throughout the year. The process for one-time registration is given below:

• In the home page of ssc.nic.in click on ‘Apply’ tab then select ‘Apply Link-1’ Or you can directly go to site ssconline.nic.in
• On clicking ‘Registration’ the one-time registration page opens
• Candidates need to fill up the specific inputs-candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender and the text
• Select enter to proceed further or click on the ‘Close’ button to move out of the page
• Enter personal details, basic details and contact details
• Enter all required fields and then click ‘submit’ button
• Get the provisional Registration Id and Password and upload the photograph and signature

Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),  Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

SSC CPO application fee is INR 100 for General and OBC candidates. All female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe, Persons with benchmark Disabilities (Divyangjans) and ExServicemen candidates eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. After filling the online application form, candidates can pay the fees online only through net banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards. Earlier, candidates could pay their application fees through challan. However, the process of fee payment through challan has been discontinued by SSC. The application fees once paid by candidates will not be refunded. After fee payment, candidates should take the printout of the fee transaction receipt.

 

Candidates can refer to the instructions for uploading photograph and signature for uploading SSC CPO application form:

• The digital size of the file of the photographs must be more than 4 kb and less than 12 kb with resolution of 100 pixel width and 120 pixel height
• The signature must be uploaded in jpg format. The digital size of the signature file must be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb with resolution of 40 pixel width by 60 pixel height

Candidates should upload the photograph and signature as per the format prescribed by SSC or else the application form is rejected. 

As per the annual calendar released for 2025-26, the SSC JE 2025 application process for Paper 1 will begin on June 30, 2025 , and will end on July 21, 2025. Candidates who will be interested in appearing for the exam need to fill out the application form as per the dates announced.

The minimum educational qualification for the SSC JE (Junior Engineer) exam can vary depending on the post applied for. Generally, the educational qualification required for SSC JE is a three-year diploma in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) from a recognized university or institute.

• Junior Engineer (Civil):

• Junior Engineer (Electrical):
  • A three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute, or
  • A qualification equivalent to a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Armed Forces.
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
  • A three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute, or
  • A qualification equivalent to a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Armed Forces

• Confirmation Email/SMS: After submitting the application form, check your registered email address and mobile number for any confirmation email or SMS from the Staff Selection Commission. The confirmation message will typically indicate that your application has been successfully submitted.

The application fee for SSC JE exam is INR 100. However, the fee is exempted for females of all categories and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD/ ExS. The candidates can pay the SSC JE application fee through online mode. However, the SSC provides multiple modes of online payment that are given below:

• Visa Card , MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card

Earlier, the SSC used to accept the application fees online and offline both but from 2023 onwards the SSC JE application fees can only be paid online.
