Candidates must be of minimum 18 years of age in order to be eligible for SSC GD exam. The upper SSC GD age limit is 23 years. However, the Commission provides a relaxation in the upper age limit for all the reserved categories such as OBC, SC, ST, ExS and others. Candidates have to appear for their respective SSC exams as per the details mentioned on their admit cards. It may be noted that each SSC exam is conducted in different parts/tiers/papers. For instance, SSC CGL is conducted in four tiers – two computer-based tests (CBTs), one descriptive pen-and-paper-based test (PBT) and one computer proficiency test/skill test/document verification round.
