SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released SSC Stenographer 2025 notification on June 6, 2025. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on June 5, 2025. A: 

SSC Stenographer admit card for CBT exam has been released. The link to download the admit card is made available on the official website. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates need to carry the printed copy of their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.

SSC Stenographer exam: The computer-based test of SSC Stenographer comprises three sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. The test paper carries a total of 200 objective-type questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The duration of the test is two hours. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Marks scored by candidates are normalised to determine the merit list and cutoff marks. On the basis of the marks of the computer-based tests, candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test. Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments are made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the computer-based test and the preference of posts given by them at the time of document verification.

Declaration of result: The result is announced online on the official website separately for different stages of recruitment. SSC Stenographer result is made available in PDF form. The scores of both qualified and non-qualified candidates are made available a few days after the declaration of the result. The pay matrix ranges from INR 4,200 or INR 4,600 for Grade C to 2,400 for Grade D. In addition to the base SSC Stenographer salary reflected in the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D salary slip, employees are eligible for various allowances associated with their positions.
