Yes you can go for applying form for private colleges after CMAT exam also I have one suggestion for you please do find whether the college you are applying for ie private one may be it's affiliated with CMAT.

CMAT is an examination in which you shouldn't think about passing marks but on scoring higher. Good colleges may lie in the percentile of 95+ and decent colleges in 90+. It's easier than CAT and a saviour to good applicants to get admission in Tier 2 or 3 colleges.

CAT is the most acceptable test score then CMAT. XAT and GMAT are accepted by many b schools. If I have to choose one then CAT.

You can do MBA in Pharma Management from NIPER, IIHMR, Jamia, NIMS, IIPM Lukhnow etc. You need test score of CAT MAT CMAT GMAT or GPAT with minimum 50%.. .
