
LUMET 2025 application process for MBA/MTTM is underway. The online registration process started on April 24, 2025 and the last date to apply is July 7, 2025. Earlier the deadline to submit the application form was June 15, 2025 but it was extended till June 30, 2025. The form submission deadline has been extended again. Candidates can register for the entrance exam by filling the online application form at the Lucknow University website. Eligibilit criteria for LUMET is graduation with 50 percent marks from a recognised university (45 percent for Reserved category students).
LUMET 2025 will conducted for admission to MBA programmes offered by colleges affiliated to Lucknow University. Candidates having CAT 2024 or CMAT 2025 score are eligible to apply directly for admission. They are not required to appear in LUMET. Read below, all about LUMET 2025 application process.
Any candidate who has completed graduation with 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent for reserved category) can apply for LUMET. Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply. However, the average score of first and second year of the bachelor's degree course should meet the minimum score requirement.
Yes, Lucknow University accepts CAT and CMAT score for MBA admission. Candidates who wish to apply through CAT or CMAT score are not required to appear for LUMET. They can fill the Lucknow University application form and directly participate in the Personal Interview round.
The SC/ST/OBC candidates from Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation while the category candidates from other states will be treated as general.

How to Apply for LUMET 2025?
LUMET 2025: LURN Registration
Candidates are required to create a login ID to be able to access the LUMET 2025 application form. They need to generate a Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN). Check below the process to create LURN 2025.
- Go to lkouniv.ac.in and click on the Samarth website link: https://lkounivadm.samarth.edu.in/
- Click on ‘new registration option’ and fill relevant details
- Use a valid email ID to create a login ID
- Use the OTP shared in email ID to confirm registration
- Login again and create candidate profile
- Pay INR 100 as registration fee to complete the process

The LUMET application fee is not refundable under any circumstances. Once submitted the fee will not be refunded. Thus, candidates must not make any mistake in the form or ensure the fee amount is successfully transferred and the receipt is generated. If the amount has been paid and not credited to the university account, then the amount will be refunded by the bank.
There is no provision to edit the LUMET application form after submission. Candidates can make changes in the form only until they haven't submitted it and paid the fees. If they make any mistake in filling the LUMET form, they will have to register again, fill a fresh form and pay the application fee again.

LUMET 2025 Application Form: Important Points
LURN Registration: It is mandatory for all aspirants to register and generate LURM at the https://lkounivadm.samarth.edu.in/ website before filling the LUMET application form. The duly filled LURN form will be required at the time of admission so candidates must take a print out of the same.
LUMET Application: Applicants have to fill all the mandatory fields of the application form to be able to submit it successfully. These fields cannot be edited later. Applicants will receive their login details in the mobile number and email ID provided at the time of registration.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants have to fill their educational qualifications. (enter the marks of all the subjects mentioned in the mark sheets). Those applicants who have appeared for their final year graduation examination in 2025 have to fill the name of their University and their roll number. All such applicants have to submit their UG marks at the time of Counselling.
Admission Mode: Applicants have to select their mode of admission at the time of filling of the LUMET application form 2025. Applicants who have a valid CAT/CMAT score and do not want to appear for LUMET can opt for admission on the basis of CAT/CMAT score.
Application Fee: If all the entries in the application form are correct the applicant can submit the LUMET 2025 form and proceed for payment of the application fees using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

Lucknow University MBA admission process includes LUMET (CAT/CMAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round. The entrance exam score carries 70 points, PI carries 30 points. The final selection will be done on the basis of the candidate's performance in these two rounds. The seat will be allotted through a common counselling.
