NEET MDS 2024 admit card was released on March 15, 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 exam was conducted on March 18, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 noon. Registered candidates had to download the NEET MDS admit card 2024 by logging in to the exam website with their registration credentials.

NEET MDS admit card is considered a crucial document which had to be carried to the exam centre otherwise candidates were not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates were apprised of the name and details of the NEET MDS 2024 exam centre on the admit card along with other exam information. Q:   When did NBE release NEET MDS 2024 admit card?

A:

NBE released the NEET MDS 2024 admit card on March 15, 2024. The exam was conducted on March 18, 2024. The admit card was released in an online mode. Only those candidates who completed the application process by paying the exam fee were issued the NEET MDS 2024 admit card. The admit card carries candidates' personal details and exam centre name and adress. It is a mandatory document to be carried at the exam centre on the day of the exam along with a valid photo identity card. 

 

Q:   What is the date of NEET MDS 2024?

A:

NEET MDS 2024 exam was conducted on March 18, 2024, which was postponed from February 9, 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 admit card was released on March 15, 2024. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences announced the revised exam date on January 20, 2024. The application form and along with the information brochure were released by NBE on January 30, 2024. The last date of application was February 19, 2024. The application process was reopneded from March 9, 2024, to March 11, 2024, for candidates completing registration between April 1 and June 30, 2024. The result will be declared by April 18, 2024. NEET MDS is a computer-based test of three hours duration, scheduled from 9 AM to 12 noon. 

 

Q:   When did the NEET MDS 2024 application process begin?

A:

The NEET MDS 2024 application process began on January 30, 2024. The last date of appliction was February 19, 2024, 11.55 PM. NBE reopened the NEET MDS application process from March 9, 2024, to March 11, 2024 for candidates who will complete their internship between April 1 to June 30, 2024. The application correction facility was provided in two phases, from February 22, to February 25, 2024, and March 5, to March 7, 2024. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 18, 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 application form was available only in online mode. Candidates had to fill the online application form, upload images and documents and pay the application fees in an online mode, with credit/debit card or net banking. Once the NEET MDS 2024 application form was filled and submitted, NBE sent an application confirmation to candidates. 

 

How to Download the Admit Card of NEET MDS 2024?

Candidates had to follow the steps given below to download the NEET MDS 2024 admit card.

Q:   How to download the NEET MDS admit card if I forget my login details?

A:

To download the NEET MDS admit card, candidates have to login with their registration credentials such as application number and password or date of birth. In case they have forgotten or misplaced the details, they will have to click on the Forgot Password link to retreieve the username or password. During this process, they should keep their mobile number and email id active as NBEMS will send the retrieving link through email or SMS. In case even the Forgot password option does not work, they have to contact NBEMS or NEET MDS helpline number. To avoid such a situation, candidates are advised to save the login details or registration credentials properly. 

 

Q:   What is the process to download NEET MDS admit card?

A:

The NEET MDS admit card was released online by the exam conducting body NBEMS. Candidates had to download it by visiting the official website of the exam and logging in with their registration credentials. The step-by-step process to download the NEET MDS 2024 exam is given below:

  • Visit the official website of NBE - nbe.edu.in
  • Click on "NEET-MDS".
  • Select "Click here to download your admit card"
  • Check the admit card for errors.
  • Download, save and print the admit card.

Candidates must take multiple printouts of the admit card and preserve it till the admission process is completed.

 

Q:   Will NBE send the NEET MDS admit card by post or email?

A:

NBE or National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the NEET MDS admit card in an online mode. Registered candidates have to log in to the official website of the exam and download it in a PDF format. NBE does not send the NEET MDS admit card by post or email. Hence, candidates have to download the document online prior to the exam date to know the exam centre allotted to them. The NEET MDS admit card is a crucial document which must be carried to the exam centre and without this, they will not be allowed entry and appear for the exam.

Contents of the NEET MDS Admit Card 2024

On the day of the examination, the NEET MDS 2024 admit card not only acted as the gate pass but will also act as an identity proof of the candidate. The details mentioned in the admit card of NEET MDS 2024 were matched with the details mentioned on the ID proof of candidates. If the details in these two documents did not match, candidates were not allowed to enter the examination hall. After downloading it, if a candidate finds out that there is an error or misprint of information on the admit card or hall ticket, he or she must contact NBEMS in its helpline number or email id and get it corrected at the earliest. Since there will be a gap of five days between the NEET MDS 2024 admit card release date and the exam date, candidates must act fast. In case NBEMS does not issue the corrected admit card on time, they will have to carry the original admit card, along with the copy of the email to substantiate their request or claim so that they do not face any hassle at the entry of the exam centre.

NEET MDS Admit Card 2024: What Next?

Candidate had to paste a recent passport-sized photograph in the space provided on the admit card of NEET MDS. Without the photograph, the NEET MDS admit card 2024 was not considered valid. Refer to the points given below for the specifications of the photograph.

Specifications for photograph:

  • The minimum dimension should be 35 mm x 45 mm with at least 75 per cent coverage of the face and head of the candidate.
  • A placard indicating the name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph should be there at the bottom of the photograph.
  • The photograph should have a white /very light-coloured background.
  • The photograph should display a complete front view of the face. 
  • The candidate must look directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
  • There should not be any reflection or shadow on the face.
  • The photograph should be printed on high-quality paper and must have a minimum resolution of 600 dpi.

Q:   What should be the specification of the photograph to be pasted on the NEET MDS admit card?

A:

After downloading the NEET MDS admit card, candidates will have to paste a recent passport size photograph on it. The specifications or details of the photograph are given below:

A:

Candidates must print the NEET MDS admit card 2024 on an A4 size paper. The paper should be white in colour. The print should be ideally in coloured ink. However, there is no restriction in terms of printing the admit card in black and white ink. The contents of the admit card should be clear and legible. In case the content or the photo or signature are not clearly visible, the exam centre authorities may restrict candidates from entering the centre and take the test. Also, candidates are advised to keep multiple copies of print out so that even if one of the copies is misplaced, there is a backup. 

 

Q:   Which photo identity cards will be accepted at the NEET MDS exam centre?

A:

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body has laid down the list of photo identity cards, that will be accepted by the exam centre officials are given below:

  • PAN Card
  • Driving License
  • Voter ID Card
  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card (with Photograph)

Candidates must carry the original photo identity card to the centre and not show the photocopy or the digital copy on the mobile phone.

Candidates must ensure to carry the following before the NEET MDS 2024 exam day.

  • An original and valid photo ID (any of the following)
    1. PAN Card

    3. Driving License

    5. Aadhaar card 

Prohibited items at the NEET MDS 2024 exam centre:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, etc.
  • Any electronic device like mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, wristwatch/health band, calculator, electronic pen/scanner, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, necklaces with pendants, badges, brooches etc.
  • Other items like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, gloves etc.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottles etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth devices, spy cameras etc.

Although there is no mandatory instruction regarding this, a coloured printout of the admit card of NEET MDS will be clearer and give a better view of the photograph. Even if candidates print the NEET MDS admit card in black and white, he or she must ensure that the text and photograph are clearly visible and the ink is not smudged. Also, the photograph that has to be pasted on the NEET MDS admit card must be in colour and within the given format and sizes.

 

Q:   What is the validity of the NEET MDS admit card?

A:

The NEET MDS admit card is valid for one year. Since NEET MDS exam is conducted once a year, the admit card is also valid for one year.
