NEET MDS 2025 result was declared on May 15, 2025, approximately a month after the conduct of the exam.NBEMS has released the NEET MDS result 2025 in the form of a merit list for 30,435 registered candidates. Out of this, 1,215 candidates did not appear for the exam, making the total number of test-takers 29,220. The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff has also been released for each category. The NEET MDS 2025 scorecard will be available for download from May 23, 2025, onwards. Candidates have to login with their registration credentials to download the scorecard.

NBE has released the NEET MDS 2025 All India 50% Quota Merit List on May 23, 2025. Individual NEET MDS 2025 scorecards for 50 per cent All India Quota seats will be released on or after May 30, 2025. As many as 16,225 candidates have qualified for the NEET MDS 2025 exam.

The NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025. Candidates whose Roll Numbers are included in the NEET MDS 2025 merit list, or those who qualified for NEET MDS 2025 by meeting the cutoff marks, will be eligible for the counselling process. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the counselling authority of the exam, will conduct the NEET MDS counselling tentatively from June 2025. Q:   How can I download NEET MDS scorecard?
A: 

NEET MDS scorecard can be downloaded online once NBE releases it on the official website. Candidates have to enter login ID and password to download the scorecard which comprises details such as roll number, application ID, marks scored All India Rank etc. The scorecard for NEET MDS must be preserved as candidates will need it at various stages of admission process such as counselling and institute reporting or document verification. The scorecard is available only in online mode and NBE will not send the hardcopy of the NEET MDS 2025 scorecard by post.

NBE declared the result for NEET MDS 2025 on May 15, 2025. The exam was conducted on April 19, 2025. The merit list for the 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats has been released initially. The individual scorecards will be released on May 23, 2025. Only those candidates, whose names will be there on the merit list are considered to be eligible for the NEET MDS 2025 counselling process. The result has been uploaded on the official website in a PDF format. Candidates can download the scorecard from the official website with application ID and password. NEET MDS result PDF comprises details such as roll number, application ID, marks scored, percentile and rank. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. Candidates have to follow the steps given below to check the NEET MDS 2025 result.

  • Select "NEET-MDS"
  • In the important announcement section, select "NEET MDS 2025 result".
  • NEET 2025 Result PDF will open on the screen
  • Scroll through the list or use Ctrl+F to find NEET MDS roll number or Application ID

  • Visit the official website of NEET MDS – nbe.edu.in or directly enter https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetmds
  • Click on the NEET MDS tab
  • Click on the Result Link and click on ‘Login’
  • Enter the User ID, Password and Captcha and click on Login
  • Click on the Scorecard tab at the top left side of the page
  • Download the Scorecard in PDF format

Q:   Is the NEET MDS result same as the scorecard?

No, NEET MDS result is different from the scorecard. The NEET MDS result is declared in the form of a merit list as a PDF file with the marks and ranks of all candidates. On the other hand, the scorecard contains detailed information about the individual candidates and their performances. The NEET MDS result is also referred to as merit list, where candidates can check their overall score along with the All India Rank. On the other hand, the NEET MDS scorecard gives candidates their individual scores along with qualifying status. 

Q:   Does NBE send the MEET MDS scorecard by post or email?
A: 

No, NBE, or the exam conducting authority for the NEET MDS exam does not release the NEET MDS scorecard by post or email. Candidates will have to check the result online by visiting the official website of NEET MDS, via the merit list and downloading the scorecard. The step-by-step process to check the NEET MDS result is given below:

  • Visit the official website of NBE or NEET MDS
  • Visit the NEET MDS exam from the Examinations tab
  • Click on the Result tab
  • A press release will open wherein candidates will have to click on the link for the merit list
  • Once the scorecard is available for download, candidates will have to click on the Scorecard tab, enter the NEET MDS application number and password or date of birth and click on submit
  • Download the NEET MDS scorecard in PDF format. 

Candidates must visit the NBE website for downloading the NEET MDS merit list and scorecard and not wait to receive the scorecard via post or email. 

Q:   Can I Get NEET MDS result in offline mode?
A: 

No, the NEET MDS result will not be available in offline mode. NBEMS, or the NEET MDS exam conducting body releases the result in online mode, on its official website. It does not release the result in offline mode, such as in newspapers or notice boards of institutes or its office. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials to download the merit list as well as the scorecard. In the merit list, candidates can check their overall scores and All India Rank or the merit position. While the NEET MDS scorecard will give them the access to their subject-wise as well as overall scores, percentiles and ranks. The NEET MDS scorecard is an important document which is verified during the counselling process.

Types of NEET MDS Merit Lists

The following three types of merit lists will be released after the announcement of the NEET MDS 2025 result:

  • NEET MDS 2025 rank: Overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who have appeared in the NEET MDS 2025 examination.
  • All India 50 per cent quota rank: Overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who have appeared in the NEET MDS 2025 examination and are eligible for the All India 50 per cent quota.
  • All India 50 per cent quota Category Rank: Overall merit position of the candidate in the category (OBC/SC/ST) as opted by the candidate in the NEET MDS 2025 examination.

Q:   What is the difference between the NEET MDS scorecard and merit list?
A: 

NEET MDS merit list provides the overall record of the exam for all candidates. The merit list is released in a PDF format for all candidates. On the other hand, the scorecard is an individual document which is accessible only to the test-taker and carries detailed information regarding his/her exam performance in terms of subject-wise score, percentile and rank. Both the documents are prepared by NBEMS, the exam conducting body. The NEET MDS scorecard is issued only to candidates who can download it by logging in through their registration credentials and nobody else can access it. NEET MDS merit list, on the other hand, is released publicly and includes the candidates' Roll Number, scores and All India Rank.

Q:   What are the information carried in the NEET MDS merit list?
A: 

NBEMS releases the NEET MDS merit list along with the result. The NEET MDS merit list carries the following information:

Q:   Who releases NEET MDS merit list for 50% All India Quota seats?
A: 

NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body, releases NEET MDS merit list for 50 per cent All India Quota seats. Candidates included in the merit list, fulfilling the qualifying criteria, will be eligible to participate in the NEET MDS counselling process. While declaring the result, NBEMS also releases the NEET MDS cutoff, which is the qualifying criteria for the exam. Although the NEET MDS merit list mentions the complete list of candidates who appeared for the exam along with their score and status (in case of absentee or cancelled candidature), the students have to verify their scores and crosscheck with the cutoffs to ensure whether they have qualified for NEET MDS or not.

NEET MDS Result 2025: Tie-Breaker Criteria

On recurrent occasions, it is found that two or more candidates obtain the same marks as the result of NEET MDS. In such cases, the merit position is determined using the following tie-breaker criteria:

  • Candidates with a lesser number of incorrect responses in the overall paper (Part A & B) will be placed in a better merit position
  • Candidates with a higher score in Part B of the question paper will be placed at a higher merit position. 
  • Candidate having lesser number of incorrect responses in Part B of the question paper will be placed at better merit position. 
  • If all the other criteria fail, a candidate older in age will be placed higher on the merit list.

Qualifying Percentile for NEET MDS 2025 Result

The qualifying percentile for NEET MDS is the minimum percentile a candidate needs to score to become eligible for the counselling process. This percentile is set by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and varies for candidates belonging to different categories. NEET MDS Cutoff Scores for Previous Years

NEET MDS cutoff 2023 was revised by the Ministry of Health. The qualifying cutoff of NEET MDS 2023 denotes the minimum marks required to participate in the counselling process. Earlier, the NEET MDS 2023 cutoff was 50 percentile for General category candidates, 45 percentile for the Unreserved PWD category candidates and 40 percentile for the reserved category candidates.
