INI CET result 2024 July session was released online on May 25, 2024. The result PDF comprising the list of qualified candidates was uploaded on the official website. It must be noted AIIMS doesn't send the result to individual candidate and he/she will have to download INI CET July 2024 result cum merit list. Qualified candidates will be able to download the scorecard from the official website with login details. Candidates will have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET PG 2024 exam. The minimum cut off is different for different category. The qualifying INI CET 2024 cut off is 50 percentile for general category while for the reserved category, the cut off is 45.

INI CET is the abbreviation for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. Q:   What is the qualification for INI CET?

A:

A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognised by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training in certain period of time. They must have scored the minimum marks in MBBS/BDS or equivalent examination. Minimum marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories is 50% while for all other categories including OBC/EWS Category, the minimum mark is 55% in aggregate.

 

Q:   What is the frequency of INI CET?

A:

INI CET or Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test is conducted twice a year, once for admission to the January session, and another for the July session. The exam is held in computer-based mode. INI CET 2024 July session is scheduled on May 19. Candidates must note that the result is valid for that particular session only. Q:   What is the difference between INI CET and NEET PG?

A:

Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test or INI CET and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate NEET PG both are national-level postgraduate medical entrance exams. Q:   How many times can I take CET exam?

A:

There is no capping on number of attempts for INI CET exam. At the same time there is no age limit. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply online for INI CET exam for admission into PG courses such as MD, MS, MDS etc. AIIMS releases INI CET application form online and candidates have to fill and submit it there only. No offline and other modes of application is accepted. It must be noted INI CET application process comprises basic and final registration. Candidates have to complete the basic registration first to proceed for the final registration. The exam is conducted bi anuallly in computer-based mode.

Q:   What is the minimum cut off percentile to qualify INI CET?

A:

Candidates have to score the minimum marks to qualify for the AIIMS INI CET exam. The minimum marks vary for each category of students in the exam. Q:   If I have been allotted a seat in round one of INI CET counselling, can I participate in round two for upgradation?

A:

Yes, you can participate in INI CET 2024 round two counselling for upgradation but there is a condition for that. For upgradation, you have to choose option 2 where you provide willingness to participate in second round. After seat allotment in round-1, candidates have to login and actively choose out of two options. Option 1 says that you accept the seat and don't want to participate in further rounds while option 2 says you accept the seat but you want to participate in second round of seat allocation.

 

Q:   Can I use NEET PG scores during INI CET counselling?

A:
No. NEET PG score will not be valid for INI CET counselling. Candidates will have to qualify INI CET exam with the minimum cut off percentile to participate in the counselling round. Candidates will have to do registration online to participate in the counselling. Apart from registration, INI CET seat allotment includes choice filling, seat processing, allotment result, and reporting for document verification. 4 rounds of counselling will be held for INI CET seat allotment.

INI CET 2024 Syllabus

INI CET syllabus is released by AIIMS Delhi along with the information brochure. The question paper is based on the choice of the institute and selected course while filling the application form. Though the subject/topics and question papers are different on the basis of the choice, the core syllabus is based on the course curriculum taught during the MBBS course. Q:   What is the syllabus for the INI CET?

A:

INI CET syllabus includes three sections including Pre Clinical, Para clinical and clinical. All three sections have many subjects which must be prepared throughly to qualify for INI CET exam. Candidates must note INI CET exam is one of the toughest exams. Keeping this in mind, candidates should focus on concept and preparation must be done in such a wy so that candidates have complete hold of every topic.

Yes. As the INI CET entrance exam is one of the toughest exams and questions could be concept-based, candidates have to focus on every subject and topic in the syllabus. One can't afford to neglect any of the topic in the exam. Plan in such a way so that every topic is covered well before time and you have enough time for 2-3 times revision. In addition, focus more on those areas where you are weak. Do analyze your performance on regular basis.
 

Q:   How many subjects are there in the Pre-Clinical section?

A:
Pre-Clinical section comprises subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry. They are further divided into subtopics. Candidates need to plan well to complete the syllabus well on time. They need to make a time table, divide the topics in strong and weak areas and allocate time accordingly, and take regular revision to take stock of the situation.
 

INI CET 2024 Pattern

Q:   What is the format of INI CET exam?

A:

INI CET exam format is 200 multiple choice questions and total allotted time is 3 hours. The exam is held in computer-based mode once a year. The meium of INI CEt exam is English only. AIIMS releases INI CET pattern along with the official information brochure. The exam pattern comprises details such as mode and medium, total number of questions, allotted time, marking scheme etc. According to the existing marking scheme, candidates will get +1 mark for right answer and -1/3 for each wrong response. Due to negative marking, candidates are advised to attempt only questions where they feel confident of correct response.

 

Q:   Do questions repeat in the INI CET exam?

A:

At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. At least two revisions are required before the exam date. After finishing the INI CET syllabus, candidates should appear in a mock test and solve previous question papers. Appearing in the mock test and analyzing their performance will boost their confidence.

 

Q:   Is INI CET exam held in online mode?

A:

Yes, AIIMS conducts INI CET exam in computer-based mode. The exam is being held in online mode since its inception in November 2020. Each candidate will be provided a separate desktop at the exam centre. They will be allowed to login as per the time schedule given on the admit card. Candidates are advised to reach exam centre an hour before the reporting time. According to INI CET exam pattern, the question paper comprises 200 objective questions and candidates are given 3 hours to answer them. There is a provision of negative marking in the exam.

 

INI CET 2024 Admit Card

INI CET 2024 July session admit card has been issued to candidates who successfully complete the application process. The admit card link for AIIMS INI CET 2024 has been  activated online. The admit card/hall ticket is of vital importance during the entire admission process and must be preserved until the whole admission process gets over. INI CET admit card comprises important details like name, date of birth, exam date and timing, address of exam centre, and exam day guidelines. Candidates will have to download the admit card 2024 from the official website by providing the login details generated during the registration.

Q:   How many times can I download the admit card for INI CET exam?

A:

There is no limit to the number of times a candidate can download the INI CET admit card. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website by providing login credentials. Candidates can download the admit card till the exam day but they are advised to download it in advance to avoid last minutes technical glitches. Candidates are advised to check the admit card thoroughly to ensure there is no discrepancy in any details.

 

Q:   Will INI CET admit card be sent by post?

A:

No. INI CET 2024 admit card will not be sent by post to any candidate. The hall ticket has to be downloaded online from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates have to login and enter registration ID, password and Exam Unique Code (EUC) to download the admit card for INI CET. Candidates are advised to download the admit card and check all details carefully. In case of any error, candidates are advised to contact the exam conducting body immediately to get the error rectified. INI CET 2024 Admission Process

The admission process for various postgraduate courses for July session begins with exam registration. Once candidates complete both the basic and final registration process, they are issued admit cards. After this, candidates have to appear for the examination, which is conducted online at various test centres in India. Those who qualify for the stipulated cut-off become eligible for admission to various masters-level programmes such as MS, MD, MDS, DM, and MCh.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for the INI CET?

A:
Candidates must have completed, or have appeared for the final exam of MBBS/BDS from a recognised medical college. The minimum aggregate to be obtained by General/OBC/Gen-PwD category candidates is 55 per cent and for the SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD, the minimum aggregate is 50 per cent. There is no age limit for candidates. There is also no capping on the number of attempts.
 

Q:   I will be completing my internship in August 2024. Can I appear for INI CET 2024 July session?

A:

You will not be eligible to appear for INI CET 2024 July session as the deadline to complete the internship is July 31. AIIMS has released the internship date for INI CET July 2024 exam along with the other crucial details with the official information brochure. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying online for INI CET exam. It must be noted, candidates who complete their internship after the deadline are not eligible to apply for INI CET exam. 

 

Q:   What is the minimum marks criteria for INI CET exam?

A:

Candidates should meet the eligibility requirements set by AIIMS Delhi to become eligible for INI CET exam. The minimum marks varies from category to category. For an example candidates who belong to SC/ST categories should have 50% marks in aggregate while those who fall into category of OBC/EWS, should have scored 55% marks in aggregate. It must be noted there is no age limit for INI CET exam held for admission to 20 INIs including 16 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. Candidates can appear for any number of times to qualify the exam.

 

INI CET 2024 Application Form Process

The first step of the INI CET 2024 July session application process is basic registration. Candidates will have to submit basic candidate information as part of the registration. They will have to register themselves on the official website of AIIMS Delhi through a valid email ID and mobile number. Then they have to check the provisional status of their registration as well till the given deadline set by AIIMS. After the basic registration, candidates have to fill INI CET application form. 

The next step is code generation and final registration. The Examination Unique Code (EUC) is generated only to those candidates whose basic registration is accepted. This code is a mandatory requirement to proceed with the final registration. After the generation of the code, candidates will have to complete the final part of the application form and submit the application fee.

Q:   What is PAAR facility for INI CET?

A:
PAAR stands for Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration. As AIIMS group of Institutions offer various courses in different stream, candidates likely to choose more than one course at a time. For that, they have to register separately. To ease the whole process of registration, PAAR facility was introduced where a unique registration code is generated for each candidate. As per the PAAR facility, INI CET 2023 application form has to be filled in two stages, basic and final registration. Those who complete basic registration are eligible to generate Exam Unique Code (EUC) and proceed for the final registration.
 

Q:   What is the upper age limit for INI CET?

A:

There is no upper age limit to appear for INI CET exam. At the same time, there is no capping on number of attempts in the exam. Candidates should have completed an undergraduate degree in medical field from a recognised institute/college. They must have scored 55% marks (general category) in qualifying exam.
