NEET 2025 Final Answer Key (Released): Download OMR Sheet PDF for Codes 45, 46, 47 and 48

NTA released the final answer key for NEET 2025 on June 14, 2025. Result for NEET 2025 will be declared soon. The provisional NEET 2025 answer keys was released on June 3, 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. Candidates were given an opportunity to submit challenges or objections against the provisional answer keys within June 5, 2025. There will not be any opportunity to review or challenge the NEET final answer keys. The NEET 2025 result will be computed based on the NEET 2025 final answer keys. 

NEET answer keys were released on the official website of NEET, neet.nta.nic.in. For the provisional answer keys, candidates had to log in to the NEET website with their NEET 2025 application number, password and Security Code. After that, they have to download their response sheets and the provisional answer keys. The final answer keys will be available on the NTA and the NEET website, which candidates can directly download, without having to log in. Candidates and stakeholders can download the NEET 2025 final answer keys by NTA by clicking on the link and download it in PDF format.

The NEET OMR response sheet refers to candidates' answer sheets or OMR sheets where they have marked their responses. On the other hand, the provisional answer keys refer to correct answer options according to NTA experts. The NEET OMR response sheets of candidates are scanned and uploaded on the official website of the exam which candidates can download and check for discrepancies. Candidates are also advised to note down their own responses or answer options marked to calculate their estimated scores. 

NEET answer key, be it the official, or unofficial one, helps candidates calculate their estimated score in the NEET exam attempted by them. By doing so, they will have a fair idea about their qualification chances and can plan or predict the future course of action. In case a candidate calculates a high score in the exam based on the NEET answer key, they may shortlist their choice of medical colleges with a high rank. On the other hand, if their estimated score appears to be low, and chances to get admission to their dream college seems to be low, then they can explore other alternatives in terms of course and colleges where they may pursue their higher education based on their NEET scores. Moreover, if they find a particular question or answer option doubtful, they also have the chance to file objection against it, which may lead to revision of the answer keys, and make the NEET score more accurate and fair.  

The NEET answer key objection filing fee was INR 200. The amount remained the same as last year. The NEET 2025 answer key objection fee has to be paid online, through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. Unless a candidate pays the fee, the objection or the challenge would not be considered to be submitted, and would not be reviewed by the expert committee. The NEET answer key challenge fee is non-refundable, even if the answer key objection is found to be valid. 

In case a candidate wishes to file objections against NEET 2025 provisional answer key, he/she had to follow the procedure and instruction stated by NTA. It must be noted that the process was completely online. The step-by-step process is given below:

• Visit the official website of NTA NEET
• Login using the NEET 2025 application number, password and securty code
• Click on Key challenge tab
• Now select the test booklet code
• Select the question number and click on Submit
• Now select the answer that you think is correct and give a justification for it
• Click on Confirm
• Pay the objection filing fee of INR 200 online, through Credit/Debit Card and Net Banking
• Save the confirmation slip for future reference.

NTA sets up a special committee consisting of academic experts that review the objections and take decisions about the challenged NEET official answer keys. After the NEET provisional answer keys are released, candidates are given the opportunity to file for objections. The objections have to be raised within the stipulated date and the expert committee with assess the validity of the objections and then take a call on it. Candidates are also given the option to send files as proof to substantiate their objections.

NEET OMR sheet refers to the answer sheet or the answer booklet wherein candidates have to mark or shade the correct answer option. The fullform of OMR is Optical Mark Recognition. Unless candidates mark answers in the OMR sheet properly, those would not be marked. NTA states the following instructions about marking NEET OMR sheets, which are stated below:

• The OMR sheets will have to be marked with blue or black ballpoint pen.
• If a bubble is semi-filled, it will not be considered a valid response. Such responses will not be graded
• The marking must be confined to the circle only. Smudging or overfilled circles will not be graded.
• The correct way to mark the response is to fill the entire bubble. This will be considered a valid response.

Along with the provisional NEET answer keys, NTA releases the NEET OMR sheets of the test takers. Candidates could download those from the official website of NEET. Candidates had to follow the steps given below to download the NEET OMR sheet:

1. Visit the official website of NEET, which is neet.nta.nic.in
2. Click on the link indicating NEET OMR sheet download
3. Enter the login credentials
4. Click on ‘OMR Challenge’ tab
5. Click on ‘Click here to view your OMR Answer Sheet’
6. Check the scanned image of the answer sheet uploaded by NTA
7. Download and save the NEET OMR sheet for future reference

After downloading the NEET OMR sheets, candidates must check carefully whether it is in the same condition as the one they had submitted. In case there is any discrepancy, they can submit challenges or objections. In case there is no discrepancy, they can calculate their estimated scores by tallying their responses with the NEET provisional answer keys. 

The responses marked on the OMR Sheet of NEET are scanned and uploaded on the official website of NTA. The responses marked are read and captured by the machines, which can sometimes lead to smudging of the responses. Therefore, there can be errors in the scanned copy of NEET OMR sheet. If a student finds any such error in their OMR sheet, they have the provision to challenge them. Candidates have to pay a processing fee of INR 200 per response challenged. The steps for challenging the OMR sheet of NEET are given below:

1. Go to the official website of NTA NEET
2. Login using the NEET application number and password or date of birth
3. Click on “OMR Challenge”
4. You will see the questions in sequential order
5. Select Question (s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.
6. Once you select any Question for Challenge, you will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.
7. If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.
8. After clicking your desired option, for Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2023, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.
9. You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
10. Click on ‘Submit' and Pay Fee Finally’.
11. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee of INR 200 for each question/grade challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.
12. After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt

The official NEET answer keys were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body in two phases. The first phase is the provisional answer key. The NEET provisional answer keys are available only to those candidates who have appeared for the exam. On the other hand, the NEET final answer keys is released on the official website of NTA or NEET, which is accessible for all. It must be noted that NTA releases the NEET question papers and answer keys separately.   

Once the NEET answer key objection process is closed, NTA gets the objections reviewed by the expert committee. In case of any change in the provisional answer keys, NTA will release a press release or official notification stating the same. It will properly state whether the question or the answer key options are wrong, or if multiple answer options are correct. Accordingly, all candidates will be marked. 

NTA stated the resolution for situations wherein it is discovered in the NEET answer key that all answer options are incorrect, or a question has more than one correct answer. The resolutions are given below:

• If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options. 
• If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

 

The NEET official answer keys are released by NTA, or the National Testing Agency, the exam conducting body. The provisional answer keys are released by NTA and can be downloaded only by the candidates who had appeared for the exam. The provisional answer keys will state the particular question paper set of NEET, followed by the correct answer option. Candidates' OMR sheets will also be available for download along with the provisional answer keys. On the other hand, the final NEET answer key will be released as a single PDF document, which will carry the question-wise correct or the final NEET answer keys. The final answer keys will also indicate whether a question is dropped or if more there is more than one correct answer option. 

NTA released the NEET 2025 provisional answer key on June 3, 2025. The last date to submit objections was June 5, 2025. Till 2023, NTA used to release the provisional answer keys in the first week of June, within a month of conducting NEET exam. Last year, NTA released it in the fourth week of May. Along with the provisional anwer keys, NTA will also release candidates' OMR response sheets. Candidates may challenge either or both within the stipulated schedule by paying the requisite fee.  

NTA released the NEET 2025 OMR response sheet of candidates on June 3, 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. The NEET 2025 question paper was divided into four sets, 45, 46, 47 and 48. Unlike previous years, the NEET 2025 question paper sets were not alphanumeric but this year, the sets were only numeric. Moreover, till last year, a total of 24 question paper sets were given, as there were six subsets of each set. For example, NEET question paper set A had six subsets, A1, A2, A3.A6, and so on. However, this year, there were only four sets and no subsets. 

There will be bonus marking or extra marks awarded to NEET candidates only if there is a discrepancy in the NEET answer key. Clarifying the same, NTA has stated:

1. If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

2. If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

3. If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks  (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

Yes, the NEET examination pattern suggests that there will be negative marking. For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted and 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer. However, negative marking will not be applicable for the unattempted or extra attempted questions. Since there is a negative marking scheme for wrong answers, candidates must answer questions carefully and select the questions carefully which they are sure about the accuracy.

Candidates can calculate their estimated score by adding four marks for each correct answer and deducting one mark for each wrong answer by comparing their NEET response sheets and answer keys. The detailed marking scheme is given below: +4 for each correct answer -1 for each wrong answer 0 marks for unattempted questions 0 marks for extra attempted questions in Section B.

NEET provisional answer keys are those which are released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), approximately a month after the conduct of the exam. As the term suggests, the provisional answer keys are interim, or may undergo changes, if proven. For this, NTA gives candidates the opportunity to file for objection against one or more questions or answer keys of NEET, by paying a fee of INR 200 per question. NTA also releases candidates' OMR sheets along with the provisional NEET answer keys which can also be challenged. After reviewing the submitted challenges or objections, NTA releases the final answer keys of NEET, which forms the base of computing NEET result. Yes, NTA releases the NEET final answer key PDF along with the result. The final answer keys are computed on the basis of the final review of the objections received against the NEET provisional answer keys. The final NEET answer keys will be the basis of the NEET result. Hence, unless NTA releases the NEET final answer key, the credibility and authenticity of the NEET result will remain questionable. Hence, it is a must for the exam authorities to release the NEET final answer keys.

Yes, NTA announced that there was one question in the NEET 2024 question paper, which had two correct answer options. Hence, any candidate who had attempted that question and marked either of the answer options, have been given full marks. According to NTA, this year only one NEET answer key challenge was received which was validated. Based on the bonus marking, 44 candidates' scores turned out to be 720 out of 720, leading them to secure AIR 1.  However, during the Supreme Court hearing on NEET 2024 petitions, the apex court asked IIT Delhi professor's opinion on this question, and it was opined that the question had only one correct answer option. Accordingly, the bonus marks had to be revoked and candidates who marked any other option apart from the correct one, faced negative marking of one mark. Accordingly, NTA released the revised final NEET 2024 answer keys on July 26, 2024.

In case the Review Committee members confirm that the NTA NEET answer key 2024 objection against one or more provisional keys is valid, then that question will be excluded and marks for those questions will be given to all test-takers attempting that particular question. Explaining the same, NTA has stated in the NEET 2024 information bulletin, "If a question is found to be incorrect or the Question is dropped then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error. "

The format of the NEET final answer keys is a PDF document. The correct answer option of each question from each NEET question paper set is provided in a single document. At the footer of the page, comments are added as footnotes to indicate any changes brought in to the questions or answer key options. Candidates will have to refer to their individual question paper sets to assess the final answer keys of NEET. 

While NTA releases the NEET answer keys PDF, it does not release the detailed solutions or the answer-solving procedures and explanations. On the other hand, experts from coaching institutes release detailed NEET answer key solutions and candidates may refer to those to note the correct and effective way of solving a question. Hence, to understand if the answer solving methodology, test takers will not have any official source of reference, but would have to rely on the unofficial sources only.

No, the National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release NEET answer keys and question papers together. While releasing the NEET provisional result, NTA releases candidates' OMR sheets. The final NEET answer key is released in the form of a single PDF document, carrying the keys for all sets of the NEET question papers. The hardcopy of the NEET question papers are given by NTA on the day of the exam. Being a paper-pencil based test, candidates are allowed to carry the question papers outside the exam hall. In general, NTA releases the NEET question papers of previous years on its official website few months after the exam is conducted. NTA has released the NEET 2023 question papers of English and Hindi languages. However, the NEET 2022 question papers are not available on the official website yet. Yes, NEET unofficial answer keys are prepared by the experts at the coaching centres. They are reliable for calculating marks in NEET. However, even if there is no doubt about the accuracy of the answer keys, these cannot be considered to be official. Students may use the keys as a reference for calculating their estimated scores or to decide whether NEET objections should be filed or not. Apart from these there is no other role of the NEET answer keys released by the coaching institutes.

No, the NEET answer key challenge processing fee of INR 200 is non-refundable. NTA has specified the same on the information bulletin. As the answer key objection fee is non-refundable, candidates must crosscheck their challenges and be completely sure about the inaccuracy of the provisional answer key before sending out the objections. Given this information, candidates must not expect a refund of fee even if the NEET answer key challenges are found to be valid.
