GPAT 2023 exam was held on May 22, 2023. NTA released the GPAT admit card on May 19 and the GPAT advance city intimation slip on May 15, 2023 through which candidates were able to find out the city of the GPAT test centre. The GPAT application process concluded on March 13. NTA closed the GPAT application correction facility on March 16, 2023. NTA started the GPAT application correction facility soon afterward on March 14 to enable the candidates to do necessary changes in the GPAT application form. Earlier, NTA extended the deadline for GPAT registration on March 6, 2023. The GPAT application forms were available from February 13, 2023 in online mode. National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the GPAT registration dates through an official notification release on the official website, gpat.nta.nic.in.

The entire GPAT admission process was organized and managed online by the NTA (the prime body responsible for releasing the exam schedule for the GPAT exam) at the NTA-GPAT website. Candidates were allowed to apply for the GPAT exam by filling out the GPAT application form last on March 13, 2023 till 5:00 PM. As a consequence, the GPAT application correction window was also extended to March 14 to March 16, 2023 from the earlier designated dates i.e. from March 7, 2023 to March 9, 2023. The GPAT 2023 application correction window facilitated candidates to make necessary changes in the GPAT application form at a later stage. The GPAT 2023 application forms were available only in online mode.

How to fill GPAT Application Form 2023 ?

Step 1: Register online and note down the system-generated application number

  • Go to the official website - gpat.nta.nic.in
  • Click on "New Registration"
  • Candidates can alternatively click on the direct link to access the GPAT 2023 application form (DIRECT LINK -https://examinationservices.nic.in/ExamSys23/Registration/Instruction.aspx
  • Enter details such as Email Id, mobile number, etc.
  • Create a password
  • Choose security question
  • Note down your password, security question and its answer
  • Note down the system-generated application number

Step 2: Complete the GPAT application form

  • Login using the application number and password
  • Proceed to fill out the application form
  • Check all the details before submitting the Form

Step 3: Upload scanned images

  • Upload a scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph
  • Upload a scanned copy of the signature
  • Check the photograph and signature before the final submission

Step 4: Pay GPAT application fee

  • Choose the desired mode of payment (Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ e-challan)
  • Print the confirmation page

How to Make Corrections in GPAT 2023 Application Form?

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to make corrections in GPAT application form 2023:

  • Visit the official website of GPAT – gpat.nta.nic.in

  • Click on the tab ‘Correction For GPAT 2023’

  • Enter the Application Number, Password, and Security Pin

  • Click on ‘Sign In’ tab

  • Make necessary corrections and changes

  • Click on the agreement checkbox and make the final submission

GPAT Registration 2023: Important Points to Remember

  • If a candidate fails to complete all the four steps mentioned above, their GPAT 2023 application form will be considered incomplete.
  • The application fee is non-refundable.
  • Candidates need not send the GPAT application form confirmation by post to the NTA.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Regarding GPAT Application Process

Q: How do I register to fill out the GPAT application form?

A: NTA is the prime body that is responsible for organising and releasing the exam schedule and exam registration for the pharmacy entrance exam. Candidates need to visit the official website, GPAT. NTA. Nic. In of NTA GPAT to register. Thereafter, online registration and was required to be done through which a system-generated application number is generated. After filling in important details, upload scanned images such as a passport-sized photograph and a scanned copy of the signature. After completing all these steps, application fee payment is the next important and mandatory step. Choose the desired mode of payment (Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ e-challan). At the end, a confirmation page will appear on the screen. Download the copy of that page for future reference.

Q: Can I pay the GPAT application fee by demand draft?

A: No. The application fee can only be paid through online mode. You can pay the application fee through the following methods available online such as:
1. Credit Card
2. Debit Card
3. Internet Banking
4. UPI
5. Paytm
It was recommended by NTA-GPAT to make the application fee payment using Canara/ICICI Bank through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. Candidates are informed that the 'Confirmation Page' of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway.

Q: What type of details do I have to enter while filling out the GPAT 2023 application form?

A: Initially, the candidate had to provide Email Id and Mobile No. To generate Application Number. Once the application no is generated, the applicants will have to enter their personal details such as name, father's name, address, contact number, email address and academic details such as class 10 and class 12 marks along with graduation marks and certificates. Candidates shall ensure that the information entered by them in their respective online Application Form is correct. Any request for change in such particulars after the closure of correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.

Q: What documents need to be uploaded while filling out the GPAT application form?

A: You need to upload your passport-size photograph and signature images while filling out the application form. The passport-size photograph should be in JPG format and between 10 kb to 200 kb. The passport-size signature should be in JPG format and between 4 kb to 30 kb. As per the NTA guidelines, a legible scanned images of: a recent photograph, file size 10Kb to 200Kb should be either in colour or black & white with 80percent face, without mask visible including ears against white background; and candidate's signature file size: 4kb to 30kb, PwD Certificate file size 50kb to 300kb.

Q: What is the last date to apply for GPAT 2023?

A: The last date to apply for GPAT 2023 was extended from March 6 to March 13, 2023. No candidates or requests will be entertained after this timeline. Please note that a candidate can submit only one application form to apply for the exam. Multiple application form entry will not be accepted. After the registration process, application correction window will open to facilities candidates in making few changed to the GPAT application form. This facility provides applicants a chance to rectify an incorrect information entered in the application form. However, any request for change in information after the application correction facility closes will not be entertained.

Q: In case I fail to appear for the GPAT exam, will the GPAT application fee get refunded?

A: The GPAT application fee is non-refundable. Once the application form is submitted at the website, no refund will be given to the candidates by the exam conducting body. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate.

Q: Can I make changes in the GPAT application form once it is submitted?

A: The exam conducting body opens the Correction For GPAT 2023 window within which applicants can make amends to the GPAT application form by providing Application Number, Password and Security Pin. However, after the final submission, no further changes will be accepted. Candidates can download and install the SANDES application as a secondary channel to receive time-to-time notifications from NTA.

Q: What is the GPAT application fee?

A: NTA shares category-wise GPAT application fee through the official notification. The GPAT application fee for General/OBC category is INR 2200. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/TRANSGENDER the GPAT application fee was INR 1100. A candidates will have to pay applicable service/processing charges & GST over and above the examination fee via concerned Bank/ Payment Gateway Integrator.

Q: What is the size of the Scanned passport-sized photograph that needs to be uploaded at the time of filling the GPAT application form?

A: Candidates are required to upload Scanned passport-sized photograph and Scanned signature of size between 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG or JPEG format and size between 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG or JPEG format respectively at the time of filling the GPAT 2023 application form.

Q: Can I pay the GPAT application fee via cash?

A: The GPAT application fee can by paid in cash by filling the bank e-challan. For this, candidates are required to take the printout of challan format from the official website of GPAT. Later, visit the Bank and pay the required fee according to their category (SC/ST/General/OBC). Collect the Challan receipt and enter the challan number while filling the online application form. The GPAT application fee for General/OBC category is INR 2200. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/TRANSGENDER the GPAT application fee was INR 1100.

As per the directive of NTA there is no sectional time limit to attempt different sections of the GPAT question paper. Candidates will get overall 180 minutes (3 hours) to attempt the questions in the exam. Candidates can switch between the sections to attempt the questions.
