AKTU to introduce BPharma, MBA courses soon

So far, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) only has a research institute: Centre for Advanced Studies on its campus.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is all set to have two new departments — pharmacy and management on its campus. Pharmacy and management aspirants must note that these new departments will offer BPharma and MBA respectively. AKTU authorities took the decision in the University academic council meeting held on May 5. So far, the Technical University only has a research institute: Centre for Advanced Studies on its campus.

Talking about the introduction of new courses in BPharma and MBA at AKTU, The vice-chancellor of the varsity PK Mishra shared his views on how these two departments are going to benefit students. “Students would benefit a lot from these two courses. There are good job opportunities in both the pharma and management sector hence the University decided that its campus should have these two departments,” the VC said.

AKTU to introduce PG Diploma in Geo-Informatics

According to AKTU vice-chancellor, both the departments will be established from this academic session of 2022-23. Meanwhile, the varsity is also planning to commence a new course of Post Graduate Diploma in Geo-Informatics. This new programme will commence in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, the VC informed. The Academic Council also approved the decision of making question banks that will be designed by appointing subject experts of higher educational institutions, course wise and branch wise committees will be formed.

AKTU Semester Exams 2022 to begin on May 25

Students must note that AKTU will conduct undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) semester exams for both regular and carry-over candidates between May 25 to June 15, 2022, in offline mode.

The official release by AKTU said, “the even semester exams for regular and carry-over candidates will be conducted from May 25 to June 15, 2022, in offline mode at various exam centres across the state. The tentative exam centre details for the semester exams can be checked now on the AKTU ERP student login portal, erp.aktu.ac.in. “In case of any query, students can send an e-mail to dcoe-a@aktu.ac.in on or before May 12, 2022."
