Teachers, Parents and Students demand ‘Cancel Board Exam 2022’

In the wake of rising COVID-19 cases across Delhi-NCR, many students, teachers and parents have been demanding ‘Cancel Board Exam 2022’ on social media platforms. Here are some of the tweets from teachers and students:

A student said in a tweet, “The idea to create 2 term exams was to use the result of 1 in case covid cases rises. When you already have term 1 result and most likely cases will be at peak in early or mid-May 2022 then kindly cancel term 2 exams.”

A Twitter user asked CBSE, “The pressure of the board can’t be handled once and you are forcing the batch that is at home since 10th board to take the exam twice in different ways?”

Another student tweeted, “as the corona cases are rising daily so request you to cancel the board exams and give numbers on the basis of the first term and the practicals taken by CBSE.”

“No one takes our responsibility rather than our parents. So, please cancel the board exam 2022 because the life of students matters to their families. But not to the business of the government, CBSE and ICSE,” said another student in a tweet.

Another student wrote on Twitter, “I am myself a student. I am not running away from examinations. I am running away from Covid which might end up causing trouble for my mom. You people are feral. Reasoning, rationality, common sense, honesty, integrity do not exist In India for sure.”
