Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is planning to commence the online registration process for the admissions in the non-Common University Entrance Test (CUET) courses in May. Candidates willing to apply would have to register via MP Online. Except for a couple of courses, DAVV admissions will be conducted on merit basis for all the non-CUET courses.
According to TOI, the chairman of DAVV's admission committee, Dr Ashutosh Mishra informed that the admission committee will commence with the registration process in first week of May if the advertisement comes out in time otherwise by the second week of May. The registration window will remain open for almost the end of the month. The admission process will be followed by counselling process in June and the varsity is planning to begin with the new academic session for these courses from the first week of July, he added.
Registration will not be done in the conventional mode for any of the courses. DAVV has decided not to hike the registration fees for the non-CET courses, said Mishra.
No applications will be accepted without the application fee of INR 750 per course for general candidates and INR 400 for the SC/ST candidates of MP domicile per programme via virtual mode. Admission will be given only in the first year/semester of the courses except for the lateral entry in B. Pharmacy.
