DU Exams 2022: Delhi University Exams 2022 have been in limelight for some time now. Students have been protesting against the varsity's decision to hold the exam offline mode, they even took to social media platforms asking for #DUOBEExams (DU exams in OBE mode). However, in the fresh development, the matter has now reached courtrooms. A plea has been filed in Delhi High Court, challenging Delhi University's offline exams.

The plea has been filed in the Delhi HC against DU Exams 2022 challenged the notification issued by DU on February 11, 2022. The plea also seeks to hold all the exams in the Open Book Exam format for all the ongoing semesters.

Students now approached the high court after their requests were left unheard by the varsity. The plea has been filed by eight students of DU. The petitioners have alleged that many colleges had continued online classes, despite being directed to hold them offline. Students had earlier argued on social media that after attending classes in online mode for the last two years, the decision to hold offline exams by varsity is not wise and not in favor of many students.

The plea also raised the concern over the spike in COVID-19 cases in the national capital and offline exams by the DU will increase the risk of students getting infected by the deadly COVID-19 virus.

Meanwhile, even Delhi University has not come up with any official statement on this entire issue. However, students will continue to raise their concern over on social media.
