TNEA 2025 Random Numbers Released; TN Engineering Admission Counselling Ongoing at tneaonline.org

The TNEA 2025 Random Number has been released as part of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process. The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) in Tamil Nadu has issued a 10-digit random number to the candidates who have completed the TNEA registrations by paying the application fee. Now, candidates can find and download their unique 10-digit random numbers from the official website, tneaonline.org. 

These random numbers are essential to help break ties in the rankings of candidates. To see the random number, candidates have to log in with their registered email ID and password.

It's important to note that the TNEA rank list will be released on June 27. The certificate verifications of the registered candidates are ongoing at the TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) and will end on June 20.

Use of TNEA Eandom Numbers 2025 for Tie-Breaking

The TNEA 2025 merit list is determined based on a total mark of 200. In cases where multiple candidates achieve the same marks in the common merit list, the inter-se-merit among these candidates is determined based on the following priorities:

1. Percentage of marks in Mathematics
2. Percentage of marks in Physics
3. Percentage of marks in the optional subject
4. Percentage of total marks in the 12th Standard Examination
5. Date of birth (with preference given to the elder candidate)
6. Random number (higher value will be given preference)

Five days will be given to redress the grievances in the TNEA rank list, from June 28 to July 2.
