Based on the past year's trends, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to announce the WBJEE 2026 exam date this month. The authority conducts the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) towards the end of April. Those who seek admission to Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in West Bengal have to appear for the WBJEE exam 2026.

About the WBJEE Examination
The authorities conduct West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination annually for admission to engineering, architecture, and pharmacy courses in the state. Candidates have to attempt 155 MCQs for a total of 200 marks. The exam will be held in two shifts, paper one for mathematics and paper two for physics and chemistry. Students have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. More than 1 lakh students take the exam every year, making this a highly competitive engineering entrance examination.
The official WBJEE 2026 exam date has not been announced yet. However, it is expected to be held in the fourth week of April 2026. The authorities will announce the official dates online. Students are advised to refer to the WBJEE dates so that they do not miss any important event.
WBJEE 2026 seat allotment dates have not been announced yet. Students will have to log in to check their allotment status and to download the allocation letter for the admission process. Separate allotment results will be announced for the different rounds of counselling.
