CLAT 2025 Revised Result: Following the SC order, the Consortium announced the CLAT 2025 Revised Result Today. The Consortium confirmed the SC that it will announce CLAT Result 2025 today; i.e. May 17, 2025. The CLAT 2025 counselling schedule has also been announced along with the CLAT Scorecard. Meanwhile, Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, who served on the Division Bench during the CLAT 2025 SC case, took Justice Sanjiv Khanna's position as India's 52nd Chief Justice.
The CLAT 2025 SC ruling was previously given on May 7, 2025. Six questions have been addressed in the CLAT 2025 SC ruling. Three of them have been removed, and the responses to one have been modified. As provided by the Consortium in the final answer key, the response to question 77 was accepted. The Delhi High Court's decision affirmed the answer to one of the queries. A candidate's rank and prospects of being admitted to a specific NLU can be significantly impacted by the SC ruling. The candidate's position on the CLAT 2025 merit list will alter significantly as a result of this score modification.
The CLAT PG hearing has been rescheduled by the Delhi High Court for May 26. It's unclear if issues pertaining to the CLAT PG exam will make it all the way to the Supreme Court.

CLAT 2025 Revised Result Live: Factors Affecting CLAT Cutoff
The CLAT 2025 Revised Cutoff will depend on various factors like:
- Number of Test Takers: A higher number of candidates can lead to increased competition, potentially pushing cutoffs higher.
- Seat Intake at NLUs: The number of available seats at each NLU has a direct impact. Fewer seats can drive the cutoff higher, especially for popular universities.
- Exam Difficulty Level: If the CLAT 2025 paper was tough (as raised in several legal petitions), cutoffs may be relatively lower due to lower average scores.
- Candidate Categories: Cutoffs vary significantly across categories — General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS — with reserved category candidates typically having lower cutoffs.
- Overall Performance Trends: The average and top scores achieved by candidates also play a role. A high-performing batch could push cutoffs upward.
