CAT 2025 is all set to be held tomorrow. The exam will be conducted in three slots in 170 cities across India. About 2.95 lakh candidates will appear for the national level MBA entrance exam. The CAT 2025 will be conducted in computer based test mode and under strict vigilance. IIM Kozhikode has already shared important guidelines for candidates to follow at the test centre.

CAT 2025 Exam Timings
The exam will be held for 2 hours in every shift. There will be sectional time limit of 40 minutes. PwD candidates will get extra time.

CAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: Things to Carry
Apart from the CAT admit card 2025, candidates will have to carry any of the following documents to the CAT test centre tomorrow.
- Aadhaar card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- PAN card
- E-Aadhaar
- Ration Card
- College/University ID
- Driver's license
Other documents required (if applicable) are:
- Name change affidavit
- PwD certificate
- Scribe certificate
Candidates are also required to carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet and passport size photo. Diabetic students can carry fruits, with permission letter.
CAT 2025: Important Guidelines
- Candidates must reach the test centre as per the reporting time
- They must not carry any electronic item or blue tooth device
- They must not wear any jewellery/accessory having metal
- They must not wear any jacket or hoodie and big pockets
- They must not wear boots or closed shoes
- They must present the document for verification at the entry and inside the exam centre
- They must cooperate with the CAT test centre staff during the exam
- They must take their seat as instructed and complete the test on time
- They must carefully listen to instructions by the invigilator
- They must sign the attendance sheet and leave rough sheet at the test lab before leaving
- They must not disturb anyone or create ruckus in the test lab.
On CAT exam day, candidates have to follow a number of guidelines like cooperating with the exam centre staff during identification process, etc.:
CAT exam day dos:
- Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CAT admit card. 2.
- Carry two copies of the CAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
- PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents.
- Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet
- Cooperate with test centre staff and follow instructions
- 7. While entering answers, use only computer mouse.
- Do not touch keyboard as doing so will lead to screen locking.
CAT exam day don'ts:
- Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
- Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
- Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets
- Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after that.
- Don't cheat or indulge in mal practice. You can be disqualified due to any such ACT.
- Don't create a ruckus inside the test lab
- Don't leave your seat until the exam duration gets over and the invigilator announces exit.
Every candidate must carry a blue/black ball point pen and a few copies of their passport size photo to the exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Candidates who have diabetes can carry fruits as per medical prescription. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. Candidates must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the CAT exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.
