NEET UG Counselling 2021: Special Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling, Locking and Fee Payment Ends Today

NEET 2021 Counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round Ends Today
The NEET 2021 counselling Special Stray Vacancy round is underway. The window to pay the security deposit fee, choice filling and locking processes opened on April 20 and the last date to complete these is today, i.e. April 21, 3 pm. The choice locking process will commence today at 3 pm and end at 11.59 pm. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the conduct of the Special Stray Vacancy round on April 19 and released the seat vacancy list for 323 MBBS seats which are there across All India Quota/ Central Institute, Central University, AIIMS and JIPMER.
Although the registration process is not allowed in this round, participating candidates will have to pay the refundable security deposit fee of INR 50,000, followed by filling and locking the choices. They must study the seat vacancy list carefully before proceeding toward choice filling and locking rounds.
How to Participate in NEET 2021 Counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy round of NEET 2021 counselling.
Visit the official website of NEET 2021 counselling – mcc.nic.in
Click on the tab ‘Online Registration for Special Stray Vacancy Round’ at the bottom of the page
Enter Roll Number, Password and Security Pin and click on ‘Submit’
Select the option for fee payment, choice filling and choice locking
Upload necessary documents as per instructions
Furnish the undertaking with respect to allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on the MCC portal
Eligibility Criteria for Participating in Special Stray Vacancy Round
MCC has stated the factors which would make candidates eligible and ineligible for this final round of NEET 2021 counselling.
Candidates previously registered on the MCC portal but not holding any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-UG Counselling, 2021 of All India Quota/State Quota.
a. A candidate already allotted & joined a seat in AIQ/State Counselling.
b. A candidate who has been allotted a seat in AIQ Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round (for MBBS Seats conducted from 1st April to 11th April 2022) by MCC earlier but did not join the allotted seat.
The seat allotment process will be conducted on April 22 and the result will be declared on April 23. The institute reporting process will be conducted from April 24 to April 28, till 5 pm.
