UGC NET 2025 Exam Analysis LIVE: The NTA conducted the June session of the NTA UGC NET 2025 exam. Today is the Day 5 (June 29) of the UGC NET exam. Shifts 1 & 2 are over. According to the students feedback, the Paper 1 of the UGC NET 2025 June 29 Shift 2 was Easy in difficulty level. Some students' felt Easy to Moderate.

On the other hand, the Geography exam Paper 2 of Shift 2 was Moderate as per students. It was a bit lengthy. 

UGC NET 2025 June Exam Analysis (June 29, Shift 1) OUT

As per the students' reactions, the UGC NET June 29 Shift 1 is Easy to Moderate in difficulty level. DI was easy but lengthy. 

As per students' Paper 2 of Sociology exam was Moderate. Questions were asked from the syllabus itself.

UGC NET 2025 June 29 Exam Analysis: Guidelines Mentioned On Admit Card

It is crucial for candidates to check the instructions mentioned in the UGC NET 2025 admit card:

  • Mandatory Reporting Time: Candidates need to report at least 90 minutes before the exam to complete verification and biometric attendance.
  • Documents to Carry:
    • Printed UGC NET admit card
    • Valid photo ID (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, etc.)

    The UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. The exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Here are the details of the UGC NET exam pattern: Paper 1: a) Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes combining both papers) b) Total marks: 100 c) Number of questions: 50 d) Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) e) Marking scheme: Each question carries 2 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. F) Syllabus: Teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. Paper 2: a) Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes combining both papers) b) Total marks: 200 c) Number of questions: 100 d) Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) e) Marking scheme: Each question carries 2 marks.     What is the exam shift timing for UGC NET exam?

    The UGC NET 2025 June session exam will be conducted in two shifts morning and evening. The exam shift timing of the UGC NET 2025 exam is as follows: a) First Shift - 9.00 am to 12.00 pm b) Second Shift: 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

    UGC NET 2025: Exam Day Instructions & Documents to Carry

    • Do not forget to carry the admit card along with the following documents:
    • One passport-size photo (same as uploaded on the application form)
      PwD certificate, if applicable
    • One original authorised photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
    • Appear for UGC NET only at the exam centre mentioned on the admit card
    • Appear for UGC NET only as per the date, shift, and time mentioned on the admit card 
    • Do not carry a mobile phone, calculator, or any other gadget to the exam hall
    • Do not carry any eatables or water to the exam centre
    • Must wear a face mark
    • Must carry own pocket hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle

    Important Guidelines for Candidates Appearing for UGC NET 2025

    1. Admit Card & ID Proof: Carry a printed copy of the UGC NET admit card and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, etc.).
    2. Reporting Time: Late entry to the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the exam begins.
    3. Banned Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall.
    4. Question Paper Pattern: Each paper consists of two parts – Paper I and Paper II, both conducted in a single sitting of three hours. There is no break between the two papers.
