The UGC NET June session exam 2025 is conducted from June 25 to June 29, 2025. The UGC NET 2024 Dec result was declared on February 22, 2025. The UGC NET 2024 Dec session exam was conducted from January 3 to January 27, 2025 for 85 subjects.

The UGC NET Paper 1 for June 27 was standard for all candidates, and Paper 2 was subject-specific. The difficulty level was Easy to Moderate, while Paper 2 was Moderate to Difficult, and as per studnets' some of the sections were a bit challenging.

The UGC NET 2025 June session exam will be conducted in two shifts morning and evening. The exam shift timing of the UGC NET 2025 exam is as follows: a) First Shift - 9.00 am to 12.00 pm b) Second Shift: 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

• Do not forget to carry the admit card along with the following documents:
• One passport-size photo (same as uploaded on the application form)
  PwD certificate, if applicable
• One original authorised photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
• Appear for UGC NET only at the exam centre mentioned on the admit card
• Appear for UGC NET only as per the date, shift, and time mentioned on the admit card 
• Do not carry a mobile phone, calculator, or any other gadget to the exam hall
• Do not carry any eatables or water to the exam centre
• Must wear a face mark
• Must carry own pocket hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle

Candidates reporting to the UGC NET June 28 examination centre started. 

1. Admit Card & ID Proof: Carry a printed copy of the UGC NET admit card and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, etc.).
2. Reporting Time: Late entry to the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the exam begins.
3. Banned Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall.
4. Question Paper Pattern: Each paper consists of two parts – Paper I and Paper II, both conducted in a single sitting of three hours. There is no break between the two papers.
