TANCET 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

Anna University released the TANCET 2022 exam dates on March 24. The exam date for TANCET MBA and MCA exams have been set as May 14. While the exam for all other courses has been scheduled to be conducted on May 15. The morning slot today, from 10 AM to 12 noon, has the MCA exam across all the exam cities. However, the afternoon shift of the TANCET exam, which is from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, will have the MBA exam across all 14 exam cities.

Tomorrow, that is May 15, will have the TANCET exam in the morning shift, from 10 AM to 12 noon. The exam will be conducted for all courses other than MBA and MCA.

TANCET 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

The space below mentions the exam day guidelines for TANCET 2022:

  • Candidates must bring a valid ID Proof approved by the government such as 
    • Aadhar Card
    • Driving Licence
    • Voters ID
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after half an hour of the exam commencement.
  • No test taker will be allowed to leave the TANCET exam centre fifteen minutes before the exam completion time.
  • Candidates taking the test for courses other than MBA and MCA must cross check the subject printed on the hall ticket and the question booklet. In case of a discrepancy, candidates will not be evaluated for the third part of the exam.
  • Candidates must not carry any of the prohibited material inside the exam centre:
    • Calculators
    • Log tables
    • Communication devices such as cellular phones, pager etc.
  • Candidates must fill the OMR answer sheet carefully as per the instructions mentioned on the same. The invigilator will not replace the answer sheet in case of any error made while filling the same.
  • Candidates cannot carry the question booklet and answer sheet along with them outside the exam hall during or after completion of the exam.
  • Candidates need to use a black ballpoint pen for writing and shading the OMR answer sheet.

As many as 36,710 candidates have been issued admit cards and are allowed to take the TANCET 2022 exam. As many as 29,948 candidates are eligible to appear for the exams on May 14. While the remaining 6,762 candidates will be taking the ME/MTech/MArch/MPlan exam on May 15.
