Railway RRB Group D 2025 Notification: Check Vacancies, Online Form, Exam Date & Syllabus
RRB Group D 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will soon announce RRB Group D exam date 2025. Railway Group D exam schedule 2025 will be announced on the official website in PDF form. RRB Group D 2025 city intimation slip will be released 10 days before the exam. RRB Group D admit card 2025 will be released four days before the exam.
The application status will be released soon. The RRB Group D 2025 application status will display whether the application form of candidates was accepted or rejected. A total of 1.08 crore applications have been received for the RRB Group D 2025 exam. The highest number of applications was received from RRB Mumbai. The total number of applications received from this region is 15.59 lakhs.
RRB Group D application form 2025 was released on January 23, 2025 by the Railway Recruitment Boards. RRB Group D application form should be filled online only. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250. Candidates can pay the fee both online and offline. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of the application form.
For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 36 years. Candidates must have completed Class 10 or ITI or equivalent or NCVT/SCVT or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to apply for the exam. The prescribed medical standards for the exam is given below.

RRB Group D CBT exam comprises General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. There is a negative marking in the RRB Group D exam. 1/3 of marks are deducted for wrong answers. Candidates for correct answers are awarded one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. RRB Group D marking scheme is given below.

RRB Group D exam is conducted for the level 1 posts in Indian Railways. The selection process includes Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Exam. The year-wise total recruitment done through RRB Group D is given below.

The question paper of RRB Group D CBT is formulated in 15 languages Hindi English Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipur, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. The RRB paper, or Railway Recruitment Board paper, can be in various languages depending on the region or the specific examination. However, the majority of RRB papers are in the official language of the state in which the examination is taking place. For example, if the examination is taking place in Tamil Nadu, the paper is likely to be in Tamil. Likewise, if the exam is taking place in Kolkata, the language of the question paper will be in Bengali. Candidates can opt to choose the exam language while filling the application form.
Candidates who appear in the CBT exam are refunded their application fees. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. To get the refund of application fee, candidates need to update their bank accounts. While, filling the application form candidates need to provide the details of their bank accounts inorder to get the fee refund.
The standard of the RRB Group D syllabus is of the Class 10 level. Therefore, candidates can refer to their high school books for clearing the basic concepts. The questions asked in the exam are basic and candidates can solve them easily if they have practiced the previous years' question papers. Candidates must also solve the mock tests to know how to attempt an online test. RRB Group D syllabus is given below.

Yes, there are qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam. The qualifying marks for your and EWS categories are 40 and 30 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 per cent for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them. Besides the cut off marks, candidates are required to secure the qualifying as per their categories to qualify the exam. For each correct answer in RRB Group D exam, candidates score one mark. 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answers. The category-wise RRB Group D qualifying marks is given below.

Railway Group D hall ticket is released four days before the exam. The call letter is made available online on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. Candidates can download RRB Group D admit card by logging with the required credentials. Important Notice for CCAAs
The notice states that CCAAs of any trade trained in Railway Establishments can apply. CCAAs who have done training in Railway Establishments and have
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT only are eligible. CCAAs having certificates issued by the Board/ Institute/Organization other than NCVT are not eligible. CCAAs trained in Railway Establishments, who have completed their training and possess National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)
granted by NCVT should carefully fill the duration of training, certificate details, and marks in the online application. The candidates who have appeared in the NCVT examinations before the last date of online application result for which is not declared should fill date of last examination in the online application

RRB Group D 2025 answer key is released for the CBT exam. The answer key is made available within four days after the exam is conducted. RRB Group D cut off is released along with the RRB Group D result. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure in order to qualify the exam.
