CG PAT 2025: Application Form, Admit Card, Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus & Other Updates

As per the official notice, the Chhattisgarh Pre-Agriculture Test (CG PAT) 2025 is scheduled for May 15, 2025.  The exam is conducted to offer admission to those candidates who qualify the exam to pursue Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture and Horticulture offered at the affiliated colleges to Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya  (IGKV).

The official exam dates of CGPAT is out and according to the notification, this year CGPAT exam is likely to be held on June 16, 2024. 

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur is the exam conducting authority for CGPAT exam. Applicants who want to appear in CGPAT exam must fill the form and also check the eligibility criteria before filling the form.  

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur released the notification of CGPAT 2024 exam in online mode. The exam conducting authorities released the notification as well as application form in online mode on the official website.

The notification have dates like application form begin date, end date, exam date, application correction window date. 

By checking these details applicants can compose their strategy and increase their chances of qualifying the exam.

The CG PAT 2024 notification as well as application form was out in online mode. The notification of CG PAT 2024 was released in PDF file on March 13, 2024. 

Students can fill the form from the same date and last date to apply online is April 14, 2024. 

Applicants who want to fill form need to check whether they fulfil the eligibility criteria or not, only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria need to apply online. 

The dates for the CG PAT 2024 examination have not yet been announced by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGVYAPAM). However, based on the previous year's schedule, the CG PAT 2024 examination is expected to be held in the month of June 2024.

 The exam will be conducted in offline mode from 9 am to 12:15 pm for a duration of 180 minutes across 28 CG PAT test centres in Chattisgarh, India.  

The CG PAT 2024 examination will cover the following fields of study:

• PCM group (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
• PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
• Agriculture group 

The examination will be based on the syllabus of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination or an equivalent examination.

Reserved category candidates include candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

The CG PAT examination is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam that covers a wide range of topics in Agriculture and allied sciences. The exam consists of 200 questions, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The types of questions asked in the CG PAT examination can be classified into three categories:

The official dates to release the result of CG PAT 2024 is not out yet. The CG PAT 2024 exam will be conducted on June 16, 2024. 

But by observing previous year trend it can be assumed that if exam happened on the same date then result is likely to be out around 25-30 days after the conclusion of the exam. 

The CG PAT result 2024 will be out in last week of July or first week of August 2024 tentatively. 

The candidates named Om Prabhu secured the highest marks in CG PAT exam last year. He scored 165.276 marks out of 200. Since there is no negative marking hence applicants attempt all the questions which they are aware of or not. 

This is the reason the CG PAT cutoff marks remain high most of the time and applicants secure good marks. Students planning to appear in the exam must practise from previous year paper to score high. 

The negative marking scheme is not applicable in CG PAT exam. Applicants who want to appear in Chattisgarh Pre-Agriculture Test (CG PAT) exam should note that there is no negative marking for the wrong answer attempted. 

The exam is conducted for a total of 200 questions for which 200 marks are allotted as each question carries one mark. The questions which will be asked in the exam will be objective in nature.   

Candidates preparing for CG PAT 2024 examination can follow the below-mentioned strategy in order to ace the examination with a good score/ rank:

The official dates to open window for CGPAT registeration is yet.  But by observing previous year trends the application form of CG PAT 2024 is tentatively to be out in last week of April 2024 in online mode. 

The exam conducting authorities will release the dates releated to all important event i.e. notification, application form, admit card and result in the official notification only.
